  1. So what are we looking at? Pics after the first procedure or the pics after the two procedures?
  2. This guy had great hair before! But why the dimly lit post ops? Even in this lighting it looks slightly weak on his left in the hairline. His hair does look great and he’s a great looking guy, but for 2.5k grafts with such little pre op hair loss I’d have expected it to look bulletproof tbh especially being a “showcase” result. I realise it’s probably a matter of a couple of hundred grafts and then it’s pretty much perfect though, and as I said he does look great regardless of the thinner area. I do wish this clinic would be more consistent with their lighting though.
  3. Less chance of it being knock off imo. I get it direct from a high street pharmacy. I don’t have to split the tab so I know it’s exactly the dose it states, it’s in the foils with the day marked on them so it’s easy to comply. And tbh I took the generic one for a whole year after my (failed) UK procedure with Farjo and I actually think I had thinning - if u look at the pic in the OP you can see I was a diffuse thinner. Switched to brand name after my first hasson procedure the following year and I’m pretty sure I haven’t lost any hair since, so for me it’s a no brainer
  4. 26 I think when I had my first, I’m 39 this year. i take propecia (brand name one) rogaine foam in the morning after a shower biotin and MSM
  5. Yours constantly looks great in your vids too mate. I’d say our results are pretty similar, both kicking baldness’ ass😂
  6. lol thanks mate. Weird thing is, I do actually get non balding guys asking where I get my hair cut, how I style it etc and commenting on it in a positive way, guys that have no idea I’ve had anything done😂 in fact a guy at my gym who’s 50 and a NW0 has literally copied my style after asking for styling tips😂
  7. Thanks mate. Tbh there aren’t really any weak areas. In fact the last time I saw dr hasson he commented on the fact that there weren’t any. If u look on the last page you’ll see a post by Doug to a YouTube link showing a comb through under my bathroom spotlights
  8. Two pics from yesterday post hair cut, one in normal artificial light, one under bathroom lighting
  9. Does dr hasson ever not knock it out the park?!
  10. It’s personal preference and who you click with I suppose. Both are great at FUT, I’ve had FUT from dr hasson with great results
  11. Dr Hasson told me recently it’s about a 50/50 split these days
  12. Had the majority of my work done in 2008 so 11 years ago now, have changed things up a bit with procedures between to refine the hairline etc between the and now. 1) extremely happy, life changing! 2) yes, I had FUT, I’d prefer to not have it, but the choice between that and a bald head is a no brainer, and it doesn’t really affect how I have my hair 3) I’d have still done FUT 4) no hair loss since meds’ (propecia and regaine) in 2007 5) yes here is my thread in case you’re interested
  13. Thanks mate, much appreciated. You’ve got awesome hair too, and possibly even more of a dramatic before and after than mine!
  14. Tried my best to film a comb through video under a bathroom spotlight so people can get a vid in harsh light. I don’t have a YouTube account so I’ve emailed doug and asked him to post it, so hopefully a vid will follow...
  15. Send me the link to that thread mate, I’d like to take a look
  16. You’d have to double check, but I’m pretty sure it’s not a prerequisite. As long as you’re aware that without it your hair loss may well progress then it’s your informed choice
  17. Spoke to dr hasson about 3 weeks ago and he told me that it’s a pretty even split now, 50% FUE 50% FUT. also have a look at this thread, frontal grafts were extracted and this was a repair with FUE
  18. This is quite a change. Really really nice result! Looking very dense and such a massive improvement from the pre ops! Congrats
  19. I second that the result looks fantastic, but I can see your donor concerns. Looking at it I think it’s highly unlikely that it’s to do with extraction pattern as a few hairs would’ve have to have been taken adjacent to each other on those areas which is highly unlikely, so for me it’s possibly one of two things, either some kind of shock loss or some physiological factor with healing and scarring. How do you tend to heal in general? I’d say reach out to the clinic, maybe they can shed some light and discuss the issue going forward.
  20. Have you seen any of the FUE coming out of H&W since they started doing it? I haven’t seen a single bad result and the results we are seeing seem to equal their FUT work which is second to none, just saying they’re worth considering
  21. It looks pretty good tbf and you’ve got more time for improvement, but it was a big risk considering how badly he’s regarded on here! Dr. Hasson did mine, take a look at page 5 I think for 12 month pics
  22. Wait... you went back to the same surgeon? Why would you do that? Just financial?
  23. I’m not so sure mate, it’d be a bit of a coincidence since shock loss usually happens around this time. I agree it’s unlikely extractions we’re done there but as mentioned above it could be the site of the local anaesthetic.
  24. Yep I second this. I didn’t go with hasson for my first surgery and I regretted it. I went with someone who was supposedly the best in the UK... turns out the UK isn’t too good with HT’s😂
