  1. Thank you, that’s quite a compliment, Dr Hasson is ridiculously good! Gonna sort that soon
  2. I’m not on any other forums? Not as far as I’m aware anyway😂 I don’t think it’s a bad idea getting an early HT, my only regret was not finding Dr Hasson for my first HT. honestly it’s the best thing I’ve done and as long as your conservative to start I wouldn’t advise waiting as I wasted my early 20’s due to hair loss, so I completely understand the want for an early intervention, the key is not to be too aggressive with the hairline
  3. I’m on both. I take brand name propecia 1mg per day and use regaine foam one a day. I also take biotin and MSM. I haven’t seen any loss since 2007 thankfully. Feel free to inbox me if you have any questions, I’d be happy to help
  4. Thank you. Yes I’m happy, I’ve had experiences with other transplant doctors in the past and in all honesty there’s no comparison, if you’re willing to travel and you’re not on a tight budget, H&W are the best clinic out there imo
  5. I was 26. I’m now 38, have had a few procedures (through choice not necessity after the first H&W procedure) and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done genuinely. I completely sympathise and feel you, I was exactly the same with hair loss and mine also started at 18. Now my hair is literally better than it’s EVER been For some reason this site is weird with links and it redirects you to the thread you’re actually in, but if you want to see where I am right now then google search Dr Hasson 660 hairline grafts update and go to page 5
  6. H&W don’t just do mega sessions, my last FUT was about 660 grafts to the hairline, excellent results
  7. My thoughts exactly, that’s the first I’ve heard anyone say this and I really can’t see there being the slightest bit of truth in it...
  8. Back on topic, for me it’s a no brainer as far as strip goes. Over the years other names get mentioned along side H&W, but while those other names will change over the years as they come in and go out of favour, H&W are literally always in everyone’s top 3. as far as FUE, I think there are a couple of others to throw in the mix with H&W, top of which is probably Lorenzo in Spain
  9. I’ve had a lot of experience with H&W over the years and I can hand in heart say that there’s absolutely no way either surgeon would suggest FUE over FUT based solely on their own financial gains. As mentioned in the comment above mine, this is simply a case where in the past the graft count would’ve been lowered to accommodate the lack of laxity with strip (which can only be assessed in person), now as FUE is an option this can be offered instead, but in no way would they do this as a bate and switch and ultimately if the person still wanted strip with a smaller amount (or whatever the laxity dictated) then they’d still do that. On a side note I recently spoke to Dr. Hasson personally about FUE and he commented their transaction rate with FUE is almost zero percent and the results they’ve been getting equal that of their strip surgery.
  10. Tell me you’re not still actually thinking about going to Bosley?
  11. I don’t pay that much attention to Turkish doctors in all honesty, but people were saying he wasn’t using microscopes to disect the grafts and a lot of people were getting multis in the hairline which looks terrible, I did hear they now use microscopes so maybe that’s been sorted. If I had to go to a Turkish doctor he’s the one I’d choose, but personally unless money is tight if go somewhere else, your donor is finite and if it does go south, not only have you lost grafts but you also have to pay out again for a repair. A lot of people may not agree with me and I agree there have been some good results, but it’s a very mixed bag in turkey imo
  12. Any reason other than cost that you’re considering turkey? Dr koray is probably the best regarded in turkey and there’s been unhappy customers even from them recently.
  13. “Hairlossmentor” is guess, he took acception to the negativity towards rahal in this thread agree about patients threads being a far better judge than the clinic posted results
  14. He’s active on the forum, visited 10 hours ago...
  15. The scar isn’t a big deal for me as there is no way I’d have been able to get to where I am with FUE. And my plan has always been to get FUE into the scar at the end anyway. I did what was right for me and I wouldn’t change it. You just need to figure out what’s right for you
  16. Dr. Lorenzo is the best FUE surgeon in Europe period imo, he’s well regarded among the top surgeons as well which speaks for itself
  17. If you plan on doing both I’d do FUT first. FUE thins the donor area meaning that it can be hard to hide strip scars. The other way around you could even finish up by FUEing some grafts into the strip scar
  18. Dr. Hasson is the best out there imo. As a general rule of thumb, pay attention to user reviews rather than clinic posted results and you won’t go far wrong
  19. While I don’t doubt Dr. Couto is an excellent surgeon, one thing you have to take into account is that 90% of his work is on Spanish patients who have just about the best hair to transplant. Not saying I wouldn’t put him top 5, but that’s an important factor. Dr Lorenzo also deserves a mention Dr Hasson is my personal top pick for obvious reasons Dr Wong is also up there Dr Konior seems to be another great and surgical surgeon I agree with Dr Ferudini also Dr Shipiro x2 Dr Alexander Dr Diep That’s probably my 10 personal favourites not in order, my top 3 in order would probably be 1)Hasson 2)Konior 3)Lorenzo/Couto
  20. For the first one, but as soon as the foam was launched in the UK I used that. It was dr hasson that recommended it as he saw the irritation of the scalp during the surgery
  21. I’ve used both, I prefer foam. Both seam to work for me, but the foam feels less greasy and the spray also causes some redness and mild irritation which the foam doesn’t
  22. Any updates on this? Did it get repaired? Refunded?
  23. Thank you mate, he’s just taking some of what I said out of context, and he’s obviously not aware that we communicate fairly frequently and have done long before your procedure, I would never post anything just to make you feel bad and I’d never give you an opinion I didn’t 100% believe. I agree that the post was just really strong for no apparent reason. I’d put rahal near the top when it comes to surgeons, there are plenty of hacks out there and I’d never call him that, it’s just for me personally there are others I’d go to over him and there’s nothing wrong with that, at the end of the day it’s personal opinion and who you feel is the right fit for you. I do agree with one part of his post though where he said you don’t need nefitivity because at 6 months it is a mind fuck, but as ever u know where I am if u want to chat
  24. I haven’t called his result a failure, I’ve said it’s early days and may well improve...
