  1. Looking great so far! Looks like your on par for a great result
  2. Just checked out your thread, impressive results so far with a small amount of grafts, usually months 6-9 show the most improvement for me, are you satisfied so far? Has it thickened up much since your last post?
  3. I'll see what I can do, although the camera on the iPhone isnt great and its kinda hard to do an up close selfie in focus without the mirror!lol on the topic of the colour, my hair is quite a bit lighter without product, the post op faro are with no product, all other pics have product but to different extents. Although yeah I'd say my hair is probably darker than when i was younger and certainly thicker, my hair was nowhere near this thick in my teens!lol
  4. Actually started using different styling products the last couple of months, I think that's what's making my hair appear darker as I actually haven't dyed it but as far as what I use at the moment in my hair, this is my routine: Wash with American Crewe shampoo Comb back and part hair then blow dry Rogaine foam wait until it absorbs and drys (rub in) Damp hair slightly and comb through then apply American Crewe light hold texture lotion Blow dry to style Apply American Crewe fiber Hold in place with freeze hold hair spray (TREsemme)
  5. I believe it's USD not CAD but I could be wrong. Regardless of the price though I'd choose ft hasson every time!
  6. Thanks mate, really appreciate that comment, I think the transformation you've had is equally as impressive though when you look at where you came from and factor in that you had FUE. I only heard about topical fin the other day, didn't realise H&W were selling it, might be worth looking into although the tablets work well for me and with no sides so not sure I'd risk it
  7. 9 month update, hair longer on top, shorter on sides and slashed back, can't decide which style I like best, thoughts?
  8. As someone who has has numerous procedures with dr hasson and at least 4 sets of before and 4 sets of after photos I can confirm there is no special lighting, they were taken in the same room, the same positions with the exact same background and lighting, no flash was ever used and no trickery is involved, as with Garageland I'm actually disappointed this thread was made along with the implications it brings with it. H&W's integrity shouldn't be questioned and I'm disappointed it was, both doctors and all the techs and reps strive to provide the best care humanly possible, there is nothing underhanded and the results are as real as it gets. I for one am someone whose life they have improved immeasurably and as a result I will forever be in their debt so when ridiculous threads like this are made I feel it's my duty to give you the truth as I've seen and experienced it
  9. Just saw your edit. As far as style goes it's just a style I happened upon. My hair is fairly easy to style but there is a knack. I tend to use a blow dryer, styling putty and gel spray to set. It started getting a bit high due to the length so at the moment I wear it slashed back which I actually prefer and is getting easier the longer it gets. Also tried the other day styling it forward. It looked really good but didn't suit my face.
  10. I'm actually 35 now but I would estimate a lot! There was the first surgery in Manchester before H&W as well. I think that was in the region of ?6000, then probably 9000 grafts with H&W so in dollars 16k + 10k + 5k + 3.5k = 34.5k so in ? it's around ?25. So that's 31k before travelling. Flights probably 1000 x 4 so 35k. Now hotel. I stayed 2weeks the first twice and a week the two other times so 42 nights at the wall centre at around 120? per night is ?5000. So a ballpark figure is 40k in British pounds. that's the price of a midrange merc or bmw so to me it's worth every penny
  11. Thanks mate, I've been lucky to be fair. I can see why you wouldn't go back. My first surgeon had good bedside manor but there was literally no aftercare aside from suture removal (I didn't realise how it should be until I went to H&W). I wonder if Lorenzo would reconsider now you're at the point you're at. There are a few other great FUE surgeons though like you said. I think with FUE though I'd always choose an FUE only surgeon and not a strip surgeon who uses techs to extract and a motorised punch.
  12. Sounds like a no brained for you then mate, I'm happy for you, congrats on the result
  13. HTsoon, as I said before it's looking great. Can I ask though; after such a good result so early on why are you researching new docs? Why not use the same doc or is crown work not a strength of his? I have to say though, if I was getting FUE and I wanted the crown done id be seriously considering Lorenzo
  14. Fair enough mate, I think you made the right decision for you and I think you look great! Can I ask what dr hasson said he would've done differently? Did dr Wong give you an idea of how many grafts are left in the bank?
  15. It's good that this clinic is posting something other than a dense packed hairline, but why do the post op pics seem poor light and blurred compared to the pre op? Did the patient take the after pics? If so then it's understandable. If not then the clinic needs to be way more consistent with lighting and focus as a darker blurred pic will obviously give an impression of a better result.
  16. I like this result, it's a really nice improvement and looks really natural. Dr Wong is a great surgeon, as a patient of H&W myself I'm curious as to how you decided which of the two surgeons was right for you? I personally think dr hasson is the best in the world at what he does but I'd happily let both work on me, the clinic as a whole is as good as it gets. Not just the doctors but the techs, reception, management and all the reps. Just a fantastic well oiled team.
  17. Thanks mate, yeah it's been a long journey but in all honesty I probably could've stopped after my first H&W procedure, it's just been tweaks ever since, temple points, crown, hairline. The thickness was there after one pass though. I honestly couldn't tell you what I've spent over the years. What I can tell you is that I honestly don't regret a penny of it. My hair is better now than at 18, better hairline, thicker, easier to style. If I had it all to do again I would! Only thing I'd change is that I'd have gone to dr hasson sooner
  18. Yeah, I suppose, although if this doesn't look to be turning into a stellar result you really think it'll get updated?
  19. Question... If you do plenty of big cases, why not post a finished result rather than someone who's just had a procedure with no visible results, surely if thats something everyone wants to see, it would make more sense no?
  20. That looks great, especially when you take into account where you were at the start. Is this a one pass? if so the density is really good!
  21. I've always been of the thought that Lorenzo is the best FUE doc in the world, and i still believe that, however I think a large part to that was the fact that he pretty much did everything, extraction and implanting. I'm hearing now though that he no longer extracts? can anyone confirm this? if this is the case I'm guessing this will have a negative impact on his results. I'll be keeping a close eye on his results over the next year or so. Also does anyone know, if he has stopped extracting whether this is something he's still prepared to do on request? and anyone know if he has stopped extracting, the reasonings behind this? is it just to do more surgeries in a day?
  22. Ive had a few larger procedures, I'm probably around the 11k mark so not much left via strip, but i did have a consultation with dr Lorenzo around 18 months ago and he estimated I had another 4k left via FUE. been on propecia since 2011 and not one side effect thankfully! who was your doctor?
