  1. Don't bother it is really useless for hair retention and may have some slight benefit for men with enlarged prostates. Save your money.
  2. Looks like the clean, precise work that we have come to expect from Dr. K. Good luck growing! Any comments about the procedure or your first couple of weeks?
  3. Go to the blue header that runs across the top o the page and click on "Hair Loss Forum." Choose a section that you want to post in ie: "Hair Transplant Experiences" and then in the top let corner click on "New Thread." Or choose "Welcome click here on how to learn to start a new thread."
  4. Congrats from smooth bald to impressive coverage in the front! Always been impressed with Dr. Gabel's work.
  5. Ha David you lucky dog! Warm weather is on the way, supposed to be in the 50's in NY/NJ by Saturday which will feel like a regular heat wave...
  6. To all my American and Canadian cohorts: here's hoping you survive the Polar Vortex (not to be confused with a Thinning Vortex or the dreaded Balding Vortex!!!) Bundle up it is brutal out there. -15 degrees here in Chicago!!
  7. The Zen Masters of hairlines in North America and the world IMHO that immediately come to mind are as follows in no particular order: Ron Shapiro, Wong, Rahal, Konior, Hasson, All do beautiful work.
  8. Sweet. I might have used those grafts that went into his crown to even out his left temple to match his right if possible, either way it's a great result.
  9. After looking at the before pics of your hairline which is quite good, this result looks like more and more of a bust and after seeing the placement of the grafts post op it appears that you had very poor yield. The hairline placement seem a bit strange, it looks like he flattened it a bit too much for my taste. If you always wear your hair longer perhaps you should consider one of the top strip surgeons that can camo this work and get you to where you want to be. Hasson, Wong, Shapiro, Konior, and Rahal immediately come to mind. Ugh good luck man.
  10. Great documentation Grafty. The next couple of months will go by sloooowly, the Slowski's would enjoy it though... Did you talk to your doctor about the small lump you have?
  11. Stay away from the "hair mills." If the Docs that they employ were any good they would be in their own practices. Caveat Emptor, do your research.
  12. It looks like they either underestimated the amount of grafts needed to lower your hairline or you didn't get the growth rate that was expected. I think you will need another pass to get where you want to be. The good news is that it just looks sparse and not unnatural.
  13. Congrats Silver Screen! Looks like you've had some very good growth for 4 months and you much more to come. Very nice documentation I'm sure this will be valuable for others, good job.
  14. My understanding is that they inject the cells into the scalp and let them do their thing. The question I have is how the hair will end up growing? Will they automatically line up in the perfect angle to the other hairs on the head so that is ends up looking natural? Unless the cells somehow are able to know where they are on the scalp how does this happen?
  15. As a fairly impartial observer I have to say that Mickey85 seems to be condescending to anyone that promotes a positive opinion of strip surgery or has a different opinion on just about anything, and it makes me wonder what his true motives are. Feels like a long festering grudge to me. The "FUE Nazis" are really laying it on hard on this forum and have changed the dynamic here for the worse. This used to be a very supportive place now it is one big circle of bickering and sniping, and I guarantee I am not the only one turned off by it. I agree with others that this thread has run its course. I wish Hairguy all the best in resolving this and getting repaired to his satisfaction. To those criticizing him for getting repaired at 6 months before his final result was achieved, all I have to say is that the position of his hairline would have been the same at 6 months or a year and I can understand why he would want to move on as quickly as possible.
  16. Kaners has done away with the mullet... for the time being at least. And yes he did score last night!!
