  1. Very nice result and use of 4000 grafts. Looks very natural and with great coverage.
  2. What a difference with 2128 Grafts! I think the hairline design looks great. Great work!
  3. It's probably initial thinning. I see some thinning and recession near the temple angles. but the mid front looks strong. The way you have your hair in that last pic, I can not tell you are thinning or receding at all. I don't think hair surgical restoration would be a good decision at this point. Consider taking finisteride or rogaine for a couple of months to see how it goes. It may help the area around the temples. I can barely tell from the pictures, but it seems you may have some native hairs in that area still. You should definitely consider finisteride to try to preserve those hairs. good luck!
  4. The temples definitely play a big role in hair transplantation. Really gives a well framed face. Looks great.
  5. At 3 1/2 months I can see a lot of hairs growing in those pictures as well. You still have months to grow and things look like they are going well. I think the transplant will work. It's just going to get better and better. Got many more months of growing until the final result. It's too early right now especially under bright light. good luck
  6. I don't think the moderators had anything to do with the removal.
  7. You can also try Donna R. Davis from Knoxville, Tennessee
  8. Robert Ross in Philadelphia is very good. You can try him. That guy has won millions and millions in practically every case. He knows medical malpractice in and out.
  9. Nice write up. Thanks for sharing. I am also getting FUE done with Dr. Rahal later this year and really looking forward to it. I am getting more than double the grafts you got. Your procedure photos look great. Hope it turns out great. Keep us updated with the progress. Looks like great work. How is foxbar?
  10. Any consultation with a doctor to assess the donor hair in person? That may help give an accurate figure of how many hairs you may use for current procedure to future procedures. As for using chest hair or etc for crown or mid scalp, I think beard hairs would probably have better characteristics then chest hair. You can use it if you have limited donor hair for future surgeries. You really have to plan this out carefully. You do not really know how much further the hair loss can progress. But if you got the money, and your willing to get multiple surgeries, then anything is possible. As far as strip goes, I have no idea if it will be visible with that short hair. Some people can pull it off and some people it may show. You do not know how you are going to heal. It all depends on your physiology. But that hair is pretty short, so it may show. Check out patient photos and compare their scars and hair length. Like others have said, I'd get on Rogaine/Propecia asap. Especially, since you are 24, it may work better. It can thicken your hair and help you regrow and conserve hairs. It's very important at this stage. The downside is some people may have side effects and when you stop using it, you'll lose what you gained. good luck
  11. I use Nioxin with Nizoral 2% and the combo works really well for me. Nioxin seems to thicken hair within days while Nizoral keeps sebum controlled. Reduces inflammation etc., Sometimes I use Neutrogena T-Gel in between. I guess they all can act as mild DHT blockers. I think that is better then using any other shampoo that may have SLS in it etc. The shampoos give hair volume rather then make hair flat.
  12. It's looking great and it's starting to show. Like the way the face was framed. It's gonna look great in the next few months
  13. I think he should be included. His results look great. Especially, viewing the ones you posted. He gives his expertise on things throughout the forum. He takes his time out to do that himself and gives advice. He seems to be very ethical. Professionalism, ethics, skill, and etc all add up to outstanding service and work. I think he should really get the coalition membership. I agree with Blake and a lot of other members here.
  14. I just purchased MSM by NSI 1000mg and it says to take 1000mg daily, just one capsule per day on the bottle. Some people are recommending 1500-3000mg? Is it safe to double or triple this dose then? I just gotta make sure. I've been hearing a lot of about MSM and even Omega 3 with EPA & DHA for hair growth. I have even heard about Vitamin K 100mcg or higher for men. So, I am giving it a try along with few other things to see how it goes. If they don't work on me for hair, then I am not so concerned as they offer many other health benefits as well. Couple of the vitamins I am taking are actually making me feel really good. I didn't think they would make such a difference in health, but I was wrong.
  15. I've seen it in a lot of cases where the temple transplantation seems to look thinner, but then again, there has been few cases that it has come out dense and thick. I don't know if it's due to the quality of the hair or the type of placement. I hope mine turn out well when I go for my procedure. I think they play a big role in framing the face.
  16. how does a person go to such lengths to stir controversy? Pretty unbelievable, but it's like why on earth would you do that? 3 accounts with different IP's? What is the reason for it? What is there to gain out of all this?
  17. I like how the hairline shifted forward, but does this procedure have any unwanted side effects? Would it recede again in the future or stay put? what about scarring? what are the risks? pretty interesting
  18. Exactly, and I agree, why isn't insurance covering it? They should if they allow certain other cosmetic procedures for depression then why not this? Detrimental to mental health indeed. Did you ever go and see if they can write it off as that? I doubt it though, they know in comparison to breast implants, this procedure costs a lot more. Companies these days are worried about their costs, and seeing that many men are bald/thinning, they see the price tag of such procedures as a threat. Maybe, a few people might be able to win and get it written off as a medical thing. Who knows?
  19. Hey secondtime, Glad things are going good. That's great your able to conceal the pink area, what concealer are you using? LOoks like i'll have to look forward to that when I have my procedure too as it will show on me as well. I don't think it's that much of a deal but it's good to know that you can use something to conceal it. As for the hairs shedding, I guess that is pretty normal for now. You are lucky your a fast grower, so you should be good to go in just a few months with that new head of hair. I will definitely be waiting for the 2 month pics, so far I have been following your progress and it seems like it is going well. I know what you mean with the FUE pro and against arguments, it has gotten carried away sometimes. I hope i have all those factors for a successful transplant. You hope that 2500 out of 4500 grow, but I think most of your grafts will grow. You got great work done and I feel confident this is going to be a major success. good luck and thanks for the update
