  1. Hope your pain goes away. I haven't noticed any side effect yet and I started taking 1.25 mg per day on January 10, 2011. I am 28 years old. Hopefully, this means I wont have any side effect in the future. This testicle pain/issue does raise an alarm. How common is this?
  2. That is really looking great at 4 months. Pretty impressive. It looks well framed, the hairline design and all. No doubt you must be excited. The next 8 months, I think you'll end up with an amazing head of hair. Just don't do this to yourself below. lol http://www.camloot.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/nm_Pauly_D_100819_main.jpg Congrats.
  3. I'd like to see how this FUE is coming along.
  4. great seeing this as i am also getting FUE by Dr. Rahal
  5. were the same number of grafts used in the new procedure?
  6. The pill form has side effects right? Doesn't cause a condition called hairy tongue?
  7. I hear ya, some folks find it funny and ridicule people for it. I just don't get it either.
  8. thanks for the warning. Definitely staying away from that stuff.
  9. I got a FUE procedure with Dr. Rahal in about six months. It's fairly large 3000 grafts and for my frontal hairloss. It will be my first ever hair loss restoration procedure. Check out my hair restoration website for details of the upcoming procedure. I see these debates between fue strip often. There are hundreds of threads on this. I think both procedures are good. They both grow hairs and have a substantial results. I am now confident about FUE. I decided to do FUE after weighing my options, many thoughts and reasons. I have confidence that Dr. Rahal will give me an amazing result. I have seen his hairlines, his work, and I feel with FUE he can do the same. I will keep this forum updated with my procedure details and show what can be achieved by an excellent doctor. I will come back to this thread to leave it to members to judge for themselves. So, for everyone and especially those that may be in their 20's-30's considering fue, this may help you see how successful a FUE of 3000 grafts by a coalition doc will be on a 28 year old guy. Yield, scarring, placement, quality, growth, etc. So, stay tuned for my procedure in the upcoming months.
  10. I agree with Baldingbro, this may be just temporary or it may be that you might be the few that has no family history and headed towards a NW2. Sometimes stress can thin you out and make you lose your hair and after that stress is gone your hair can grow back, even certain diets can make you lose hairs and when you eat healthy it comes back, even certain illnesses. So, in your situation where you don't really look like your balding and that you have no family history. You really don't know if you will progress or how much you will progress. A DNA test for hair loss can show you if you are going to bald, and how severe it may be. Like 10 percent chance or 80 percent chance. The higher the chance, the higher you are likely to recede and go bald. Depending on how your own dna is, this may give you an answer, It's a private discrete test and it's not that expensive. Before speaking to a doc, check it out, and get an answer from the lab, and if you are prone to go bald, then talk and ask if you can get on propecia or rogaine, and if things get worse, then look into a transplant. There are so many companies that do these tests. Right now, looks like you got a pretty healthy and decent head of hair. And I wish you good luck!
  11. Well good luck to you. You have a great response to finisteride and it shows. When you are ready for a HT and get that temple area worked on, its definitely going to be an outstanding result grown out. I hope I have a similar response to finisteride. So far, 30 days have passed, I am noticing somewhat of a shed that is freaking me out a little. Don't know how long it will last and I hope it is for the better. It's just a little disturbing at the moment. I am definitely hoping the result can be seen in a few months, similar to yours. congrats on regrowth and finisteride success. I'll post photos/updates every 3 months on my hair loss web site, so everyone can see if it does its magic. This will probably help people if they are contemplating using finisteride or not. It will also help me get user feedback on the results, what they think, and if I should continue it.
  12. are you going to grow it out or keep it shaved? I think you should give it a shot, your hair seems to be back.
  13. I hope the transplant with Armani works out alright for you. After reading so many posts, I gotta say it is stressful. When I was younger, I was impressed with what Armani showed, the hairlines and all. Then I found the forums. That educated me and I guess protected me from that. I remember a couple of years ago when I started researching for doctors, I typed up Dr. Rahal Hair on google, after researching him on the forums. I got to see his work with strip. He just started doing FUE not to long ago and I trust him. Thank god I chose Dr. Rahal for my transplant. It's forums like these that make hair restoration a lot safer.
  14. Rowdy, you don't look like you need 3000 grafts. I am getting about that much and look at my pics. You are not a norwood 3. I would give the meds a try, give propecia a shot after talking to a doc or rogaine, whichever. Try it for about a year and see how it goes. If it works fine, if it's not what you expect, then give a call to the clinic. But at age 20, I would be cautious. That's too young for a transplant. If none of your family members are bald, you can try getting a baldness dna test. They are available and will test your dna to see if you have the balding gene. This will confirm if you will go bald later. I think the test is called deCode me complete scan and it is offered by decode me. You just have to google it, there are probably more companies that offer it but that is just one example. I am also booked for Dr. Rahal for fue.
  15. for 6 months and number of grafts used and the level of baldness before, that is impressive
  16. I know that Turmeric plays a big role with anti-inflammation. Have you looked into that?
  17. Actually, I know of something that works. It's a cream called Jason Vitamin K Creme Plus, it also says on the bottle intense nourishing creme. It works on dark circles and bags under the eyes, reduces them quite a bit. The smell is alright. I think it's probably worth a shot. I read many reviews before I purchased it, and seeing it works for me, i'll recommend it. Oh, and it's cheap, you can find it online.
  18. That's pretty interesting. It certainly made a difference. Dr. Lindsey do you do any other cosmetic procedures other then this and hair transplantation?
  19. Is there any statistics or data on how successful these procedures are now? I know that PRP has been around for a while now. I am sure there has to be some patients that must have had it done and can tell us something. Seems like it helps scarring? But for $3,000 as a price?
  20. Also, I know you work for Dr. Keser. But even though the clinic isn't money hungry, I would still try to maximize profit of my employer by joining and exposing the quality of the work of Dr. Keser. There are many that don't know much about doctors unless they see some sort of exposure. Forums are a place where popularity can spread like wildfire. People go to recommended surgeons more, because there are so many results to document and see from such forums. The more work you see, the more quality and idea of the work you get, the more comfortable you are with the doctor. I see your doctor performing FUE at the quality Armani tries to push with fue but fails, except, your doctor actually seems to succeed. If it wasn't for a google search typing cheap FUE something, I wouldn't even know who Dr. Keser would be today. I just randomly came across his webpage and it didn't even have photos till I went to a forum in a completely different language saying Dr. Keser and his details. So, I mean, if you were to be on this forum, this would be 10x more exposure then the average forum. A lot more users, a lot of anonymous users surfing, there are doctors as far as India even showing off their skills here.
  21. Khan, I don't think there is a big reason to be concerned in joining this community. Many doctors that are doing strip, have now also incorporated FUE into their treatments. I don't think there is much of a fue vs strip war going on but some people can voice their opinions louder then others. I feel there are a lot of people here that can go either way, fue or strip. I think the process of FUE has advanced from what it was. There are tons of amazing results. There is nothing about competition between fue and strip. This forum has had its debates and there are some that like one or the other or like both. I think any procedure that has a satisfactory hair transplant result is good for hair loss sufferers. The only thing most people shout about is, customer care, service, pricing, quality of work. Those are the main things that can make a doctor look good or bad. I think Dr. Keser should join as he is good at what he does. He should do it before another doctor jumps in and becomes the FIRST FUE ONLY recommended doc. Just seeing how moderators even wanted a FUE doctor and suggested it to the community of hair loss sufferers should show you that people here want quality and successful surgeons. If this community was impartial to the Dr. due to FUE, he wouldn't be up here for a recommendation. So, take the opportunity and join and show us more results.
  22. Definitely can tell a difference on your scalp. I started about a month or so ago. Noticing shed on my scalp right now but I guess that's part of the routine. Can't wait to see how my results are with it in the months to come. For me, my primary focus is to preserve the crown. Your result seems to have covered that area and the mid scalp, even towards the front, kind of did it all. Your results look great. Congrats.
