I received my first HT the other day, about 2500 grafts and I am so SORE! The procedure was completely painless but the next morning I am completely sore in the receipent area. The strip scar does not hurt at all. I will post pics as soon as I follow up with the doc and they remove the bandages. I can honestly recommend that everyone have the procedure. im new to the site and looking for advice.. im a 28 year old male..and as you can tell from my picture suffering from some hair loss in from the front and extending back to the crown. I have met w/ 2 surgeons in western canada (1 does the 'strip' and the other fue).. I am leaning towards the FUE but want to find a reputable surgeon. right now i use a lot of toppik (a little bit too much) and i dont like it at all.

Just thought I would start a blog as I’m planning a hair transplant surgery for Nov 3, 2012 and would like to document the process for others wishing to have the procedure.
For me it has been a 2-year struggle trying to figure out if the procedure was right for me. As I’m only 31 there is a very strong possibility I will be dishing out more money in the future for a second or third procedure as my hair recedes. For this I decided on a conservative first procedure.
Does anyone know of a H.T doctor in India, in the state of Punjab or near by?? pls help!
Came here for a H.T and meet with few H.T docs but not convinced by anyone yet. The best one I THINK, was one called 'AK Clinics'...has anyone heard of them or has experince from them please share.

Just thought I'd share my progress on minoxidil and alpecin shampoo. I'm 35, have been thinning and receeding since i was 20 atleast. Never really bothered me, think I look ok with a shaved head, but thought why not give minoxidil a go, particularly after I found a relisticly priced brand made by Kirkland for 3 months supply.
Three months and 9 days in, noticeable thickening I believe and possible growth at the front.

I have been transplanted with 2633 hair/grafts (I am not sure was it the no of grafts or hair....will clarify on consulting with my doctor tomorrow). The procedure went well and the surgery lasted for eight hours. Post operation recovery was also good as I had no swelling or pain or bleeding etc.
