  1. Thanks All.. Matt - I have spoken to the team when I had my transplant done.. I had my surgery on May 30 and we discussed buzzing my head around June 24 which was was deemed sufficient. The redness is already minimizing which is great to see.. Prior to me leaving Ottawa, I met with the team who mentioned I was healing much quicker then normal.. However - i am still taking all the precautions over the next few weeks (and following instructions closely).. I am wondering what is the lowest guard that people have gone with an FUE? My crown is still quite bald so was hoping to blend it in as much as possible. Also wanted to make sure i don't disrupt the transplanted hair.. Thanks!!
  2. Hi All, I recently (end of May) had a 2700 FUE procedure done w/ Dr Rahal and everything appears to be going well. I am looking to keep my hair short as I eagerly wait for the results. I was wondering how short I could shave my head? I have read some mixed comments but am still unsure. I was looking to use a 0 guard and shave it all but I do not want my donor area to show little dots.... Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
  3. I agree with the number of comments posted on this issue. This is not a pointless thread but one that illustrates how important communication is. I recently had a HT surgery with Dr Rahal whose team was very straightforward and forthcoming. Reading the back and forth between the two parties is unfortunate. Like many others, I don't believe that a top clinic like Fellers lost any money as I can assure you there are many people that wouldn't mind changing their schedule or filling a cancellation. In fact, Dr Fellers response really surprised me.. it was fairly negative and not very customer focused. Hopefully both the clinic & Bob can get this sorted out but it sounds like this won't happen unless some small claims court has been involved.
  4. thanks.. the anesthesia process is what i was referring to... what medicines are usually prescribed? i heard you have to sleep at a 45 degree angle as well? FUE is less invasive then the FUT treatment so assume the pain in the donor area is slim to none?
  5. hey guys - wanted to get your feedback on the FUE procedure.. reading up on it some more -it sounds like the most painful part of the process is the freezing of the donor and recipient areas. I am looking at getting 2500 FUE grafts initially - and want to know what type of pain and discomfort to expect? How much swelling occurs and when should I be back to "normal".. Thanks!
  6. Has anyone actually had a procedure done by Armani's clinic on here? Just reading the mixed reviews and I hear many people who are not a fan of his work but where is the feedback coming from?
  7. Thanks! Any other recommendations of FUE hair docs?
  8. Heard okay things about Dr Baubac.. but not about Alvi Armani as a whole.. so really cautiously exploring options.
  9. Thanks - i have read mixed reviews but heard that Dr. Baubac (who leads the Beverly Hills clinic is good)... still uncertain and will likely not go down the Alvi Armani path. How is Dr. Feller.. does he really charge 10 dollars/graft?
  10. Hi Johnny, Did you ever see or get and feedback on Dr. Baubac? I am currently looking at getting a procedure done by him?
  11. I am just looking for feedback on ALVI ARMANI's clinic. Anyone have any thoughts or feedback on some of their doctors and associates? Would greatly appreciate.
  12. Thanks - i have reached out to Dr Shapiro.. any other recommendations? Doctors in Canada? Feedback on Dr. Jones? Thanks.
  13. Thanks all for the feedback thus far.. Have any of you heard of Dr Robert Jones? Any comments or feedback? I spoke to him today and sent him some pictures.. he said he could do the FUE treatment and do about 2500 grafts. I have read a few things that are not very postive on the internet but those posts were dated back to 2008 so not really sure... would appreciate your feedback or thoughts.. Thanks!
