Hair Loss Treatment in India

Hi, I plan to get a hair transplant in Bombay/Mumbai, sometime in January 2012. I have been doing research on line and talking to friends, doctors and patients in Bombay about my options. Everywhere I read or talk to people one name keeps coming up Dr. Rajesh Rajput, people have good things to report about him. On this forum I see that he has had 2 bad cases. One in 2007 and second i believe in 2009. Apart from these 2 bad cases I could not find more information about him on this forum

GOING FOR IT

Well the die is cast and I have made an appointment for a HT at the Farjo Clinic in Manchester on the 16th of November 2011. I have paid my £2,000 deposit and have the rest of the money lined up. It has taken me some time to get to this point and a lot of soul searching. Would it work, was I too old, was it too expensive, what would friends and other people think if they found out? I had my consultation last December and it has taken nearly a year for me to convince myself that it was the ri

2535 - Day 3 Post Op

Well today my head started to swell up just a bit, it's probably due to the fact that I am getting smarter and my brain is just growing and has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I just had minor surgery on my noggin. Oh by the way, I forgot to let you guys how old I am - I'm 29 years old and a male. The back of my head still feels a bit tight today, however the top feels perfectly fine. I have been spraying a topical solution for the implanted follices on my head throughout the day

I really meant to start my blog the day before my procedure because I knew I probably would be a little out of it on the day of from the meds, but for some reason or another I never got around to it so here I am starting the day after. This was my second procedure totalling of 2535 FUT, followed by my first of 1695 FUT - both were done by Dr. Arocha in Houston. First off, I am very happy with my decision to go with him. He takes a tremendous amount of pride in his work, is very dedicated to w

Six Months Post Treatment - FINALLY RESULTS

I am a 45 year old male, good shape, office worker, married, two kids. Six months ago I began to seriously consider getting a hair transplant (FUE). While researching and debating my decision I found this website and read posts virtually every night. I found the stories and guidance to be incredibly helpful and as a result I got the procedure done in March. It is now 6 months later and I am writing this in the event that there is anyone looking for advice, has similar reservations, and is l

Have I been done?!!!

I'm 38 & work in the Music Industry. I wear a hat everyday to give me confidence at work & in public, but it's a bit of a problem when I have to attend something where I cannot wear my trusty hat. This lead's to comments (not cruel) about my appearance without my hat & I spend the rest of the time feeling very uncomfortable. I first noticed that I was receding at 18 years old, but could hide it with my longer hair. Over the year's this has dimished. I use propecia to try & keep

My doctor search has led to more questions

I am really coming to understand that a succesful hair transplant is purely based off of personal perception. I see all too many photos where the patient says they are happy with the results that I would not have been if it were my head. For what we are paying for these procedures, I want better results, or a lower price. One or the other. Is that really too much to ask? It seems that many places are charging as much as they think the "average" person can afford, and providing results that the "
