Dr. Raymond Konior
Plans for hairline shape and location can vary widely depending on age, pattern of loss, donor graft availability and patient expectations. Attempting to achieve an aggressively low (adolescent) hairline can be risky, especially for those with advanced patterns and limited donor reserves. Additionally, a very low hairline may look out-of-place for some men as they age. This is a 49 year old patient who presented for frontal hairline restoration. His goal was to obtain a very low hairline. Following a long consultation he agreed with my recommendation to begin the restorative process with a more conservative higher location, albeit still relatively low for someone his age. He underwent a frontal hairline restoration session of 3353 grafts. He returned one year later with what appeared to be a decent result. Although he was happy with the restoration, he expressed a continued desire to pursue the lower hairline he had requested one year earlier. I agreed to his request and he underwent a secondary session using 1498 densely packed grafts which lowered his hairline approximately one centimeter. The patient returned one year later and expressed satisfaction with the final outcome. He favored a product to “spike” his hair. Presented is his final result of 4851 grafts which shows him both with and without a hair product. Senior Member Rootz Posted August 25, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted August 25, 2014 A+ I think this is just about as good as it can possibly get. I'm presuming this is FUT, it's too bad Konior doesn't specialize in FUE.

Senior Member densedream Posted August 26, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted August 26, 2014 That's a great result but I think this guy went full retard getting a hairline so low at the age of 50. Hopefully he isn't going to lose anymore hair.
Senior Member Mickey85 Posted August 26, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted August 26, 2014 I think it looks great, even at 50. Brad Pitt is 50 and has a similar hairline which is not surgically enhanced, so it is possible. Certainly makes him look ALOT younger with the juvenile hairline. Senior Member Cryingoutloud Posted August 27, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted August 27, 2014 (edited) Exceptional result with the hairline density but, personally, I would've addressed the mid-scalp towards the crown area. Looks a bit silly to my eyes with a thick dense hairline and a large thinning area behind it. Hats off to him for trying the Wolverine hairstyle, though Just a shame the site took 2 days to load the 37 photos. OK, that was a gross exaggeration but you get the point. Senior Member Rootz Posted August 27, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted August 27, 2014 Just a shame the site took 2 days to load the 37 photos. Day 12. The 3rd picture has been loading for days now. I am running low on supplies and fear I won't make it through the first post. I took a screenshot of a thumbnail and tried to enlarge it out of desperation... but it's pixelated and unusable. My mind is wrought with suspense.
Senior Member Noodles123 Posted August 27, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted August 27, 2014 Seriously who cares how his hair loss will progress. The man is 50 and he wants to enjoy it now. Just recommended a friend to go see Rahal because of his reputation for hairlines, but now I wished I would have mentioned Konior to him as well. Senior Member bismarck Posted September 10, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted September 10, 2014 Literally, the perfect hairline. Also speaks to the strengths of FUT. Almost unheard of to see yields like this in FUE. True artistry.
