Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted July 13, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted July 13, 2011 As many of you regular readers may know, my little girl Julia had brain cancer 2 years ago. We made it to April and had a clean scan and at that point, we supposedly were "95% cured". Yesterday we had another routine scan and her cancer is back. So we are starting down another hard, perhaps insurmountably hard, road. I would appreciate any prayers you have for Julia, her mom and me, and her brother. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA William H. Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted July 20, 2011 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 20, 2011 Thanks for all your kind words and prayers. Boo had surgery monday. They took out a pencil eraser sized tumor. The first night was pretty rough. Last night, p.o.d. 2, I slept at the hospital with her and she and I stayed up til 11 watching Seinfeld and eating Wendy's fries. She'll likely come home tomorrow. Most likely aggressive chemo starts in 2 weeks. The next 4 months will be hard, harder than last time. Thanks for all prayers and words of encouragement. This pic is the day before surgery with her dog Buddy. William H.
