Update on Dr. Lindsey's daughter

As many of you regular readers may know, my little girl Julia had brain cancer 2 years ago. We made it to April and had a clean scan and at that point, we supposedly were "95% cured". Yesterday we had another routine scan and her cancer is back.

So we are starting down another hard, perhaps insurmountably hard, road.

I would appreciate any prayers you have for Julia, her mom and me, and her brother.

Thanks for all your kind words and prayers.

Boo had surgery monday. They took out a pencil eraser sized tumor. The first night was pretty rough.

Last night, p.o.d. 2, I slept at the hospital with her and she and I stayed up til 11 watching Seinfeld and eating Wendy's fries. She'll likely come home tomorrow.

Most likely aggressive chemo starts in 2 weeks. The next 4 months will be hard, harder than last time.

Thanks for all prayers and words of encouragement.

This pic is the day before surgery with her dog Buddy.

Dr Lindsey

Thanks for the update. Glad to hear surgery went well. Lean on God for the next four months. It's times like this that make our problems seem so small. Your family will continue to be in my prayers!

May god bring her to recovery quickly and help you and your family through this. It humbles me to hear things like this and how pathetic I am about hairloss.
