  1. amanindia, haircut, mick - thanks for your feedback.....i expect in another 4 months the result will be cosmetically at its peak but we're happy even at this stage with the development
  2. At about 3 weeks post-FUE with Dr. Dorin....healing as expected, will keep you posted.
  3. Looks like a solid change Janna....i agree a medical therapy regimine would really round out his result but looks like he is holding up ok so far.
  4. thanks for the comments Janna....yes this is not an unusual case in that we didn't shave the recipient area - the patient was able to transition back into his normal ways after a couple weeks and as you can see below even at a little over 4 months, there were no signs of significant shock and some decent early development of the transplant.
  5. This patient was treated by both Dr. True and Dr. Dorin. The result is after one FUT totaling 3475 follicular units transplanted. Heavier allocation to the front & top with lighter transition into the vertex. As expected at this interval the vertex is behind in growth but within the next 4- 6 months should be more fully developed. 1011 singles, 1774 doubles, and 690 threes = 6629 Hairs
  6. hi mr_powers.....yes its cobblestoning......beyond laser you might want to consider cortisone shots......when did you have your procedure done? if it was very recent, it's possible the skin may remold itself over the coming months. be well
  7. This patient from overseas sought out Dr. Dorin for an FUE treatment to address his frontal thinning. He requested a more conservative hairline which coincided well with what Dr. Dorin had planned in terms of the FUE session. Patient is considering Propecia for vertex stabilization.
  8. appreciate it Janna....2000 units is @ the limit of what we like to do with FUE in a single session
  9. Adrian.....solid result - im a little surprised at the numbers, i guess curious as to his age and likely future progression....i would think the patient would be content with the one step- is there future treatment planned?
  10. looks great J!.....i was having Shapiro withdrawal..thanks for posting.....i would say this patient could rest on his laurels with his coloring and the coverage achieved......2600+ seems about right for that area
  11. thanks Mick.....usually Dr. True ends up within the range of 1000 - 2000 depending on whats needed for the area, what the patient can take on financially, what the patient brings to the table in terms of donor density and quality of hair - not every patient is an ideal candidate for FUE
  12. This patient underwent a one day FUE session with Dr. True in the amount of 1,904 extracted follicular units. The breakdown is 824 singles, 988 doubles, and 92 threes - 3076 hairs. Had been using minoxidil prior for about 19 months.
  13. thats good stuff although the "graft" picture is tough to look at - might have to upgrade on that one*
  14. christine......thanks for sharing...her hair really thickened, hard to know the effect of Rogaine but im sure its complementing the transplant.
  15. hi....thanks for the inquiry - this patient is in his 50's.
  16. i agree mick:) spex, astute observation, i was pleasantly surprised at how things had healed for this patient although its true his complexion helped camouflage the typical residual pinkness.
  17. Dr Dorin recently did an initial treatment to the front with transition into the bridge region......Patient has been using Propecia for about 9 months prior to treatment - due to his evolving pattern, age and lower than average donor density Dr. Dorin deemed it important to commit to medical therapy prior to treatment.....2008 follicular units were transplanted: 702 singles, 1211 doubles, and 95 threes - 3409 hairs
  18. Mick.....nice ultra-refined work on the hairline.....impressive scar to boot...kudos*
  19. Adrian....auspicious start for the patient...look forward to seeing the progress
  20. thanks bullitnut..means a lot coming from you someone who has had quite a hair journey multiplier - appreciate your comment....cheers*
