  1. Dr. Dorin recently saw this patient 10 months after his 2nd FUT. Original post below: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/136476-dr-dorin-2441-fut.html
  2. J - thanks for sharing......awesome series on the evolution of a transplant result....hopefully this will be encouraging to those who are concerned at the 3 - 5 month mark- a lot of progress can happen after 5 months...great FUE work by Dr. Ron*
  3. hi Spanker..thanks for having a look.....its is normal for the treated area to have a thinner appearance immediately post-op and for that matter for several months following.....its a combination of wetting the hair, the hair shafts being cut by the blade, the hairs getting pulled down by the crusting, and if you look closely Dr. Dorin extended the hairline as well.
  4. you are a great candidate for Propecia, could keep a lot of your hair in bridge/vertex and I would expect some regrowth as well...hopefully you will consider this a frontal session of about 2500 seems likely depending on the doctor's hairline design/placement. Good luck*
  5. Just treated this patient with round 2....at age 22 Dr Dorin initiated frontal restoration with 975 grafts via FUT - as well as Propecia. The recent second treatment of 1006 grafts targeted the same frontal zone for additional density.
  6. Mick....another stellar result, so natural....im also curious as to the time frame
  7. Richard - very nice result by Dr. Arocha....the patient seems like he could benefit from Propecia - do you know if that is being used or was discussed.....should see some additional cosmetic change over the next 5-7 months
  8. Sorry for the delay RcWest....Dr. True transplanted the front, top and first half of the vertex, Propecia has been successful in stabilizing the patient's pattern fringe as well as providing some additional regrowth in the very back of the crown (vertex). Here is an additonal photo:
  9. Dr. True performed an FUT for this patient in his mid 20's to restore contour and density to his his hairline/frontal region. The patient had been using Propecia about 2.5 years prior to treatment. In the session, a total of 1204 follicular units were transplanted, consisting of 458 singles, 671 doubles, and 75 threes.
  10. appreciate the comment mr. Mick*...will circle back on this one end of summer/early fall.
  11. Patient came in for follow-up 2 weeks post-op from an 1146 graft FUE treatment with Dr. Dorin. The grafts consisted of 448 singles, 533 doubles, and 165 threes. Hairline views before, immediately post-op, 7 days, 14 days going clockwise.
  12. i don' think a second treatment is a hugh priority for this patient but of course one more shot would icing on the cake....he has another 5-6k donorwise so he has some options...thanks everyone for your comments
  13. Mick...really nice transition to permanent, natural coverage....is the patient considering further treatment?
  14. This patient recently came in for follow-up with Dr. True. In 2006 Dr. True performed one FUT of 3115 grafts - 764 singles, 1611 doubles, and 740 threes. A total of 6206 hairs transplanted. At the time of his treatment Propecia was also initiated. After 5 years, the result is holding up very nicely although the patient has gone on to lose the native hair that existed prior to the transplant. A second step has been discussed to add overall density throughout.
  15. thanks Spex, RCwest, Mick.. Spex - to answer your question: .92
