    Dr. True recently peformed this FUE treatment for hairline restoration. A 2 tier extraction was utilized to allow the patient to retain his normal appearance and transition back to work with minimal downtime. The zone treated consisted of 1301 grafts, of which 382 are singles, 645 doubles, and 274 threes - a total of 2494 hairs transplanted.

    hairgirll.....here are a few examples of our female patients: True & Dorin Medical Group: Before and After Gallery whether with our practice or another, you need to have face to face meetings if possible with the dr. that is going to be working on you.....easy way to shorten your list is to go to a dr. that specializes in hair transplantation full time, preferrably for a least 10 years - a medical practice dedicated to hair restoration is a good place to start......best of luck in your journey*

    Joe...thanks for posting this case....we also see this type of patient from time to time, its can be a very disfiguring process, a real scam......i actually was a day away from having this done...at age 19! very greatful for having gone the transplant route

    lighter hair always creates less contrast between the skin and hair which is advantageous and he also does have a high caliber hair as well...thanks for the comment Mike

    patient has responded well to Propecia - definitely feels that the crown area has stabilized and the fringe appears to be stronger - i think his hair overall looks more healthy - he may have a follow-up treatment end of the summer so ill try to get pics of him with shorter hair for comparison...thank you for the comments guys

    This result is after one FUT 11 months post-op. Given the uncertainty of the patient's response to Propecia and his proclivity to wear his hair short, Dr Dorin proposed a treatment of 1500 grafts that would reinforce the patient's pre-operative hairline position and add density throughout the frontal region area while at the same time have a more modest impact on the donor area to allow for flexibility in styling. FUE was discussed but not financially feasible. 392 singles, 921 doubles, 195 threes - 2,819 hairs

    This patient presented to Dr. True with a classic 3V pattern. FUT was performed consisting of 2,185 follicular units of which 656 are singles, 1367 doubles, and 162 threes - a total of 3,876 hairs. Result is after 12 months.

    aseda.......Dr. Dorin could do FUE and actually given the patient's tight scalp probably makes sense moving forward. Unfortunately, the patient is unable to get away with shaving his head in preparation for doing a larger FUE procedure so in order to do the 1000+ the strip made sense this time. spanker....this patient did have a lower than average density - if we utilized FUE in the future we could probably get more than 5500 if needed or desired

A total of 3,540 hairs. - Class 4 with future progession likely to a 5+ - Average to slightly lower density - @ 5500 supply - Below average elasticty - Fine/Medium Build
