  1. You're in great hands Donald!......enjoy the ride*
  2. Dr. True recently performed an FUE of 787 grafts on this patient to rebuild his hairline erosion - the extracted grafts consisted of 168 singles, 397 doubles, and 222 threes - a total of 1628 hairs. The heavy caliber of his hair and high percentage of 3 hair grafts should lend to excellent density in the area treated.
  3. multiplier - to answer your question - because this patient needed to return to work as soon as possible, he chose FUE as it would have the least impact in terms of discomfort, and in turn not needing to take medications that might impair the ability to do his job. thanks for your comment*
  4. thanks Mick.......this may not satify the "wow" seekers but a relevant type of restoration and one that is not atypical amongst our more discretionary patients
  5. thanks for the explanation bonkerstonker - learn something new everyday* Mick - you have a good eye mate;)
  6. This patient of Dr. True's is an executive that asked for a conservative approach to his restoration. Dr. True performed 3 FUE sessions totaling 2187 grafts. He was able over the last 3.5 years to seamlessly restore permanent density throughout the front/top region.
  7. I concur with haircut, a doctor dedicated full- time to hair transplant surgery is your best bet. Good luck*
  8. tsakalos, bonkerstonker....thank you for having a look - your scrutiny is refreshing. i will provide a hairline shot upon full development, i'm hoping his hair will have a bit more length to really provide a sense of the architecture and flow of the grafts.....will keep you posted*
  9. What patient wouldn't want to achieve the result they desire and at the same time use less grafts, have an inconspicuous donor scar, pay for 1500 grafts as opposed to 2500 grafts, and ultimately have more in the "bank" for their future hair loss needs - while i do think each patient brings to the table a unique set of hair characteristics that flavor their success, we always strive to provide value and make the most of what each patient has to work with. Unfortunately, until we are able to increase donor supply, we are always dealing with a finite resource. TC17 - to answer your questions, this patient just has un-uniform, lower density in his donor area, in going with FUE its likely that we could do another similar size treatment but after that he would probably have to wear his hair a bit longer.
  10. joeyz....looking good and just getting started - looking forward to seeing your progress*
  11. thanks for the comments TC17....i appreciate your observation.......one of the main reasons for going with FUE on this patient is because of the uneven distribution of density (or patchiness) that exists natively in his donor area. Also, the contrast of gray & black hair lends to this appearance. If you closely examine his before pic you will notice these characteristics: If FUT was performed, even with hair worn a bit longer, there is high probablity for a linear scar to be noticeable given the natural state of his donor density and hair direction. Also at 6 months, neither the frontal region nor the donor area are considered fully evolved.
  12. Previous thread: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/158019-dr-dorin-1441-frontal-fue-14-days.html 1441 follicular units were extracted and transplanted to the frontal hairline region in one session. Of the 1441 grafts, 667 are singles, 661 doubles, and 113 threes. This result shows a total of 2,328 hairs after 6 months.
  13. keep us posted Mick....another well-designed hairiline by Dr. Farjo*
  14. TTP thank you....RCW -.her pattern really mirrors more of a male NW 4A...its not ludwig pattern - she is an ideal female candidate because of her thinning being localized to the front, the quality of her hair is quite good in terms of caliber and characteristic
  15. This female patient underwent a single sessionof 1377 grafts with Dr. Dorin consisting of 858 singles, 496 doubles, and 23 threes - a total of 1919 hairs.
  16. This patient is having a second HT with Dr. True - with the second step additional density will be added behind the hairline and selectively into the top/crown...likely about 1300 - 1500 grafts. I wanted to post some additonal pictures of the initial result as they are better quality and most recent.
