  1. You said you’re getting married next June? Don’t do the procedure this year then. Planning a wedding is stressful enough man...dealing with the hair transplant will multiply that. Just my opinion.
  2. I know you have good intentions with what your trying to say but telling someone they have body dysmorphia and should seek a therapist is a crappy thing to say. In that case everyone on this forum has body dysmorphia since were all trying to improve our looks. The reality is we live in a shallow world and looks matter. We try to improve our looks for our inner confidence. OP had bad luck with two procedures (well 1 really, the artas procedure he was prolly doomed from the get go) and he’s trying his best to fix a shitty situation. I hope you are never on the wrong end of a bad hair transplant...going through all the stress only to end up unhappy with less money.
  3. Sean Behnam and his twin brother Ben are really nice guys. They treated me decently after a bad experience with another doctor in LA even though my appointments were always rushed. I went to them for help because of their dermatological background. As for hair restoration I can’t tell you that I would trust them with that at all. As for Meshkin, I don’t know anything about him other than I saw him get interviewed on the news after Kobe died because Kobe was his neighbor so he must make a ton of money to be living there. I met Dr. Mohebi, a very nice guy but he didn’t really help me at all. He gladly took my money for the consultation fee though. I would honestly avoid so cal completely if I were you and you don’t even live here so there’s no reason to focus on doctors here. Good luck.
  4. Look into microneedling. The best one you can buy is the derminator from owndoc.com. check out @CosmoKramer‘a thread for info. There’s another guy here who basically got hair transplant like results from a combination of the big 3 and microneedling. Not guaranteed to work for you but worth a shot. https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/54717-microneedling-may-2019-progress/
  5. I think you should also reach out to dr. Konior just to see what he says since you have a high budget and are willing to go anywhere to get this done right.
  6. Is this kind of a double edged sword in your opinion? Great donor quality but not great that not enough singles were used in hairline?
  7. I’m pretty sure there hasn’t been a documented case by patient on this forum. You have got to go to the Spanish forums and the international forums to see his patients cases. You can use a translator tool on your web browser to make it easier. You’ll see more results from the other 2 great soaking surgeons, de Freitas and Lorenzo there as well, although there is a great case from de Freitas on here and many from Lorenzo from the past. I agree with you that you should never trust YouTube marketing, even with the great Spanish surgeons. It is probably a great time to get a consultation with any one of them as they can probably fit you in a lot sooner than normal due to the covid affecting their schedules. If you do decide to go to him and don’t mind please share your case on here it would be great for everyone to see his work on this forum.
  8. Wow it’s looking really good! You’ve come a long way man. I’m glad this worked out for you after the horrible experience you had at the first clinic.
  9. I think it looks real good. If you ever want to fill it in even more it won’t take much at all and you can go back to H&W or go to someone like Dr. Gabel who is one of the few doctors who can fill it in without shaving your recipient area, but it would only be for you to make it perfect in your eyes I don’t think anybody else would notice and there’s nothing wrong with that. Be thankful during your early days that you got lucky and didn’t do the procedure not only with a terrible doctor but a terrible person like Baubac and you found this forum to help guide you to better doctors. Baubac messed me up and I am going to have to spend a ton of money to get it corrected.
  10. I am just going to give you some important advice without even knowing whether or not you are a good candidate for surgery. You need to understand something that is very important when it comes to this specific procedure: Don’t ever, ever, EVER look for the best surgeon within your budget that is closest to you. You need to look for the best surgeon for your specific case within your budget and be willing to travel to them anywhere they are in the world. This may sound crazy to you and if it does than you haven’t done enough research and you’re not ready yet.
  11. You’re definitely going about it the right way doing proper research and seeking out patients that went to those clinics. I did not do a procedure in Turkey, but I’ve seen tons of results and out of your list of budget clinic I would have to say I think demirsoy does the better work and I have t seen complaints about his bedside manner at all. Look into eugenix in India, they are doing good work there in comparison to the majority of Turkish clinics.
  12. Wishing you the best outcome @Der3k7, you deserve it after all the bs you’ve been thru. Are you doing it soon?
  13. I have seen Dr. Mwamba use bht and nape hairs to successfully fix fue donor scars. Add him to your list and consult with him. Your situation is not hopeless.
  14. This is like asking would you rather have a Lamborghini or a Ferrari? I mean I’ll take either. In all seriousness though you can’t go wrong with either doctor. They both are known for attention to detail. I will say though, that Dr. Konior is extremely detail oriented and is a perfectionist which is obvious when you look at his immaculate post op photos. He also is one of the few doctors who can create softness in the front of the hairlines because he takes his time to selectively target those finer hairs for extraction during FUE procedures. You can see it when you look closely at photos of his results. This is where it’s critical with FUE procedures that the doctor or tech extracting the grafts can select those finer hairs for placement in the front of the hairline. That’s the main difference I see between the two but they’re both excellent.
  15. I wish I knew how much only patient reviews and experiences on trusted forums was all that mattered.
  16. He’s definitely one of the best. This case right here is one of the most impressive repairs I’ve seen even considering he hasn’t posted his final results yet. Only the elite doctors take on tough repairs like this.
  17. No two patients are the same. H&W just posted a result with a guy who had an fue procedure with over 4,000 grafts taken out and said he still has 7,000 grafts available with fue. That’s rare but some guys have much denser donor’s then others. Some guys can’t even get 6,000 grafts with fut. There are a lot of variables. Anyways I don’t think @Tbcruz‘s thread should be derailed any further.
  18. It could be dermatitis, it could be folliculitis. Bottom line is you need to see a dermatologist. Are you located in a different city then your surgeon?
  19. I’m sorry to hear about what you’ve gone thru. Have you looked into fraxel laser resurfacing and vbeam laser therapy for the scar? Doing those to improve the scar will allow the smp to work a lot better.
  20. These top docs better watch out this guy is gonna put them out of business with his skills.
  21. Honestly if those are the most unflattering pics you can take this looks like a killer result. Can you fill in some more hair there? Probably but no one other then yourself would ever notice.
  22. I’m sorry man. It definitely looks like a lot more than 3,000 grafts were extracted. Thanks for posting this to help other guys out and warn them.
  23. Sweet almond oil is good to apply on the crusts to help get them off. It’s also good for the scalp to reduce the redness and won’t clog your pores. Don’t force the scabs off let them come off on their own. Did you go to H&W?
  24. Ya Abi shit is definitely getting real https://www.cnbc.com/2020/03/11/coronavirus-trump-suspends-all-travel-from-europe.html
