  1. You are only 20 years old which is very young. You should focus on a healthy lifestyle: good diet, sufficient sleep, stress management, physical activities and avoiding harsh chemicals on the hair. You can also keep taking the hair specific multivitamins. Don't leave Minoxidil abruptly when you are using it. It has withdrawel effects where you'll feel more hair fall. You can also talk to your doctor if you can take Finasteride if it is infact the onset of baldness. You can prevent baldness from taking away your hair. Most of all, enjoy your 20s. Don't worry about it a lot. Wish you the best.
  2. Absolutely stunning. Looks so good. By the 12th month, you're going to have such beautiful results. So happy to see such awesome results.
  3. Definitely sir. Any person with retrograde thinning or otherwise should avoid a haircut at least for a month prior to the hair transplantation procedure. In some cases, if some people have a very slow growth or very thin donor then they can grow it, according to their hair growth rate, for a more appropriate time wherein the hair would be obviously visible. We would be advising every step of the pre and post procedural acitivites as it has to be customised according to each individual.
  4. Hello, Please do let me know if the consultation has taken place yet. If not then please dm me your number and I shall arrange the consult at the earliest with our Dr Pradeep Sethi sir. I apologise for the inconvenience caused.
  5. You're welcome sir. We would love to have our patients back in the clinic. We are awaiting for the things to go back to normal. Praying for the world to come out of this mess soon.
  6. We have witnessed beautiful but realistic results for patients with a poor donor area also. All due to the advancement in beard hair extraction. Plus the donor aesthetics is maintained. Hence, it is wonderfully possible for patients to opt for the FUE technique with confidence and assurity that they will get the best possible with regards to their case.
  7. The beard hair are coarse and tend to stick away from each other but they have a higher survival rate than chest hair. The chest hair, pubic hair etc are shorter in length and very slow growing. They would have a longer telogen period and would definitely be thinner in caliber. When transplanted on the scalp, the difference wouldn't be visually evident but when one runs his hands through his hair, a difference in texture would be felt.
  8. The implantation is performed purely by the Senior technicians in the Comprehensive package as well as the Comprehensive and Exclusive package. They have been trained to do the same and they have a better hand at implantation. Since the slits are pre designed on the recipient area, the angles of the slits are pre determined. We use special dull needle implanters to unload the extracted grafts into the pre-made slits. These implanters reduce 100% chances of manhandling the grafts. The mother tissue and the roots are not touched at all. Since we are performing the Direct Hair Transplantation technique, the extraction of grafts from the donor and implantation into the recipient is done simultaneously. However, due to the request of some patients for the doctors to perform the hairline implantation, we have introduced the Premium package where the Doctors perform the implantation for the crucial parts of the hairline.
  9. We perform Direct Hair transplantation for all cases. We specialise in using the beard hair as donor too. And with the advancenent in technology and instrumentation, it is possible to harvest a large number of grafts from the scalp and beard donor areas without leaving any difference. Hence, we can optimise the use of the donor grafts and provide a good coverage for even Grade VII patients.
  10. For the surgery itself, 2 mm to 3 mm hair is good to go. But for the evaluation purpose, the hair has to be longer.
  11. Thats completely normal. Even if you lose 100 haur strands everyday its okay. The length of the hair does not matter. Even if you keep short hair, the hair will go through the hair cycle.
  12. For males, the M shape of the hairline is natural and normal. If it is not M shaped then it looks unnatural. However, there are some current trends where some men have a straight hairline like Drake for eg. For women, an inverted U shaped hairline is usually the design. Your hairline looks fine in the picture. Maybe if you are having hair loss then you can take medications to control it. You should go for the hairline augmentation only if it is required or if it is cosmetically natural.
  13. You will still have more growth until the 12th month and sometimes even beyond until the 14th to 18th month in cases of delayed growth. Within 8 months you cannot have the full density.
  14. How is your beard density? If you can give donor hair from the scalp and beard then you can cover your crown with 3000 grafts approximately.
  15. 4500 seems more reasonable in your case. 2500 grafts would be sufficient for the frontal zone with a look change.
  16. Nothing to worry about. It looks good Its normal for the growth to take time. You can take Finasteride and irs good if you are already taking. Wish you the best results.
  17. Mesotherapy, PRP, Minoxidil, Multivitamins etc all are supplementary. They can help but they cannot stop baldness from progressing. Finasteride/Dutasteride and their role in preventing AGA cannot be substituted.
  18. Kudos to you. You've done a marvellous job of maintaining your pre existing hair. It looks great. Keep up with the same routine. Baldness is highly progressive till the 30s. It slows down a little from the 30s till the 40s. After the 40s it really slows down.
  19. Usually reducing the dosage or leaving the medication should eradicate the side effects. You can reduce the dosage and see how it works out for you. Even if you reduce the dosage, it should be quite effective. Obviously taking it regularly is the key to maintainance.
  20. Looking good. I'm sure you'll have a fantastic growth by the 12th month. Looks usual for 6 months. The crown does take longer to cover up usually. Nothing to worry about.
