  1. It takes a lot of patience for delayed growers (personal experience). But hold on. It will get better with time. Also, lets wait for the temples to further develop. If there i anything that we find amiss, we shall definitely move towards rectifying it. I assure you of that. We are here for you and whatever is the end product, it is 100% our responsibility.
  2. Lets wait for at least a year for the complete results. But we must remember that we cannot achieve the same density as we mighthave had before balding. It will be natural and have an illusion of density. But at the end of the day, it is just 40 hair per sqcm.
  3. Here are some important facts that I would like to state for any hair transplant seeker: 1. The density that hair transplant can give you per sqcm is 40 to 50 hair per sqcm and more than that is not required. 2. You will never have the same density as you had before baldness. Keepig longer hair and styling can help create an illusion of volume and density. 3. Keeping longer hair will also hide the collective absence of hair in the donor areas. 4. And talking about donor areas, there will be a difference density in the extracted areas and the non exyracted areas. If you keep very short hair or clean shaved then the collective absence of hair will be visible. 5. No cosmetic surgery is scarless. The only consolation for you is that it can be done with minimal scarring. Use of sharp and thin diameter punches can help minimally scar the donor. 6. The timeline for growth of hair, shedding phase, hair cycle, texture of hair, etc are different for each person. It is very subjective and it takes time. 7. The hair cycle will definitely happen and will affect the transplanted hair too. It is inevitable and unavoidable. But baldness will not creep again in the transplanted area like earlier. 8. THE SUPPOSEDLY CALLED DONOR AREAS OR PERMANENT ZONE HAVE HAIR THAT ARE MORE IMMUNE TO DIHYDROTESTOSTERONE. THE HAIR ON THE TEMPORARY ZOME ARE LESS IMMUNE TO DIHYDROTESTOSTERONE. FINASTERIDE INTAKE CAN HELP IN MAINTAINING HAIR LIFELONG. 9. As much as we may hate Finasteride, it is the only medication that helps prevent progression of baldness.
  4. 1. No I did not mean that his results will be 30% lesser than it is now. 2. I was correcting you because you said the hair loss during the anagen desynchronisation is 10%. It is not. It is 30%. 3. For the patient, his full results haven't even come yet. He is still on the way to reach his full density. So to judge his results would not only be highly inappropriate but also very discouraging for the patient himself. 4. After he reaches the 12th month, he will have an increase in density but will also enter the anagen desynchronisation phase. He will lose 30% hair to it. 5. Can I tell him the exact time of his full density and when he will enter the Anagen desynchronisation phase? No. I cannot. I can predict but not confirm as the time duration is very subjective from person to person. 7. And lastly, the most important piece of information that needs to be declared: He will never have tje density he might have had before baldness. His hair will look thinner in volume and density, regardless of lighting. He will also have good hair days when the growth is of a higher percentage of hair (anagen synchronisation) and bad hair days when his hair are mostly in the telogen phase. Why? because this is only 40 hair per sqcm and not 100 hair per sqcm. Everyone seeing his hair should realise that if they do go for the transplantation procedure, this is the kind of density that will be achieved. And in 12 to 14 months, we will get a clearer picture.
  5. Its 30% actually the anagen desynchronisation phase. However, it is not definite that everyone has to have it on the 12th month. It varies from person to person with regards to its time of onset.
  6. When his full results will show up, the sunlight will not be a problem. It will obviously not have the same volume and density as his natural hair migjt have had but it will definitely look natural and of adequate density. Plus we must remember that beard grafts tend to stick away from each other unlike scalp hair which cluster together.
  7. Attached are my pictures from the 7th to 8th month. The density was very poor compared to the others at that time. But even my growth was delayed. It is subjective from person to person. In fact, even the redness took at least 2 to months to disappear in my case. Whereas with Anil and Abhinay, they had like super dense growth by the 4th to 6th month. Please don't worry. It will definitely grow dense in the coming months. I saw a satisfactory density by the 14th month.
  8. PRP is a completely useless therapy if you are expecting it to helo with haur growth. It can be a supplementary push provided to the grafts but neither necessary nor mandatory.
  9. Perfect. I wish you a fabulous result regardless of the clinic you choose. But ai do feel strongly that you require less number of grafts if you do decide to embark on hair transplantation.
  10. We could help determine the candidacy of your body hair if you can share them with us. Beard wouldn't look very different after the extraction. There would be a minimal reduction in density easily missed.
  11. Lets start by saying that personally, I find your hair perfect. But I can understand where you feel the deficit. You're maybe a Grade II at most on the Norwood Hamilton Scale of baldness. If the hairline bothers you a lot then you could opt for approximately 1000 to 1500 grafts depending on your airlune choice. And your age is favourable too. The progression of baldness tends to stabilize drastically after the 40s.
  12. Apologies. I must have missed the previous post. My natural hairline was a treasure lost in the past. To exhibit the long lost hairline, I have had to unearth pictures from the medeival ages, as below. Unfortunately, I seem to be choking on a candle in all those pictures and one where I resemble a gargyole. My current hairline is perfect. It frames my face and has a good density. Most will not be able to differentiate if they know not about my transplant. However, if somebody sits down to count the hair (thankfully not a standard practice in the world), they would find only 40 hair per sqcm in my current hairline. Which inevitably means that the density was thicker in my natural hairline. But I feel that the transplanted hairline is quite good. Infact, perfect! But with everything said and done. I have to say what God made was always better than what the human hands have beautifully replicated.
  13. We have performed an FUT scar revision surgery earlier. However, the survival rates of the grafts on the scar tissues are lesser. If you are planning to use yoyr scalp and beard donor then it can e helpful. If you are planning to use body hair then it will have lesser survival rates. Also, when you perform a transplantation on the scar, the density might not be as thick as the rest of the hair but a decent coverage. Usually plantation on such scars are planned with more grafts planted by the sides where the scar tissue is thinner. This would prevent graft wastage in the center parallel of the scar due to its thickness. But again the nature of the scar tissue is subjective in different subjects.
  14. Hairline design and reconstruction is a form of art in itself. There are multiple factors involved in ensuring a natural looking hairline. At least 6 rows of singles: light in pigmentation, slow growing and thinner in calibre, are planted on the initiating point of the hairline zone. These are taken from basically the nape of the neck. With this, skilled hands, proper angles and good survival is crucial. It is not a matter of luck for an individual to have a natural looking hairline after transplantation but rather an assurity that a confident surgeon should provide. It should be an assurity and not a probability. Having said that, what God creates, no human can ever. The hairline created by man can be a close reflection of the natural one.
  15. I don't see anything wrong with caring about one's aesthetics. I would do exactly the same and worry exactly the same as you. Infact, I am always very vigilant about it. I think the only thing you should stop doing is to stop listening to these people. They have a right to their opinion but fortunately not on yours. We have so many individuals who come in and get their hair transplantation procedure done way beyond age 50. Our most senior member was in his 80s. I think you are perfectly fine to go for a transplant and also to take the necessary steps to prevent any further balding. Also 50 is the new 30 so I wouldn't really consider it an old age. Maybe when you're 90, you are allowed to feel that way. And its not fighting anything. Its a normal maintainance of onself and I think its rather commendable to have such a trait. Wish you all the happiness in the world.
  16. How absolutely stunning. Congratulations on such a beautiful head of hair.
  17. Being in the public eye is certainly the biggest curse one can imagine. With this comes the burden of having to remain "perfect". The lengths to which the stars go to achieve the perceived perfection is dark when one really delves inside. Hair transplant might be considered a minor thing to be done in their world. Since there is no question of having anything go wrong, they take various measures to create an illusion of perfection. What we see witj them is never true. And it is a grave error for any of us to look to them for inspiration regarding aesthetics. Their whole purpose depends on it. Whereas for us mere mortals, we just want to have the basic necessities of life and an occassional luxury.
  18. You should absolutely wait until the 12th month for the full results. Right now is not the time to judge the density.
