  1. I dunno if people necessarily consider one better than the other. They have their own techs/teams. Wong is active with going to lots of conferences, he also makes/modifies his own tools and blades in his office. I think many consider him one of the top docs for crown work. hasson has some great work out there too. Great at dense packing. Look at @Aftermath’s results as probably one of the best out there they both only do incisions during the surgery as far as I’m aware. But the techs there have been with H&W for many years
  2. Uhh 9000 grafts in one sitting is pretty unheard of. This procedure likely took a very long time and a lot of anesthesia likely had to be used
  3. Yes you can choose. You have to let them know
  4. Isn’t it for the safety of their staff? I’ve heard there are clinics that refuse to take on hiv positive patients in Turkey, I believe they are the exception and not the rule however
  5. Even though this is true, Comments like these have resulted in me getting warning points and temporary bans. Just a heads up
  6. It seems very common with this clinic tbh. I’ve even messaged those posters privately and they never reply
  7. I’d follow this advice. Def don’t cut hair too short because longer hair is needed to get a good picture to design prior to surgery also, def don’t stop fin if you’re already taking it and have had a good response
  8. I’m sorry to hear about your experience and the lack of post op care you describe. I’ve heard rumors of patients signing NDAs. Are you afraid of any repercussions?
  9. Thanks for that. Are you sure it’s not with oral ketoconazole? I checked it on a drug interaction site and it didn’t link them in any way
  10. Hey matt. Which nasal spray? I use azelastine and Flonase so I’m pretty curious.
  11. Nizoral is quite a harsh shampoo, you’re absolutely right about that. It’s medicated and like any med, should not be overused. I only began using it about a month after my surgery as I have scalp issues. I only use it once a week. Personally, I would not exceed twice a week as spex has recommended on here for many years. I decided to stick to once a week bc I am trying to be more cautious. it does have studies showing it is effective in addressing hair loss, but I think finasteride and minox will be doing a majority of the work.
  12. How did u find out ur grafts had miniaturized hairs? How long into the procedure did they let u know?
  13. @Michael Vories, MD great example. Could it be that the providers using artas are referencing the inner diameter of the punch only? When in reality when the entire (inner+outer diameter) are measured the true punch diameter is probably closer to 1.1mm or even higher?
  14. Did umar ever give insight in terms of why the density did not go as planned?
  15. As a fellow minox user I researched this a little. Different clinics have different advice on this. Some ask their patients to quit anywhere Between a few weeks or even until the day before the procedure. Of course you’re going to have to stop it post op for at least a week as your skin heals. if you trust your doc enough to do surgery with them then id follow their advice as they have more experience regarding this.
