  1. I probably had a little in the donor area. But I never had anything above a .8mm size punch extracted from my donor. Also my doctor would draw a grid around my mapped out donor zone and each box would get about 35 grafts pulled from it which really gave my over all donors very uniformed look. My donor always seemed to recover well after a few months.
  2. I always had my hair buzzed. Doctor said it is easier for them. I had major shockloss 1st,2nd, 3rd procedure. Even on second and third the transplanted hairs from previous procedures shed! But my hair alway grew back starting in the 4th month. It sucks and I am sure this depends on the person because a friend of mine went to the same doctor and he never experienced shockloss to existing hairs. I might be a prime example it can be done because I don’t think I could get anymore hair to fit in my front even if I wanted. 😂
  3. Looks good! Keep in mind growing hair that long is going to really amplify any weak points you may have. But if you can put your hair straight back and in harsh lights it looks good your golden. I am on a 12 month no haircut journey to see my own results so you have given me a little inspiration with your hair that long. your hair looks good to me. ✌️
  4. I found myself in a similar situation as you Greg. I believe my hairline was pretty darn close to that after a second pass. Take a look at my feed. I will agree with everyone else, it looks great! Not sure if certain lights is what’s bothering you? But always a risk of damaging what you already have and really going to depend on the doctors skill to squeeze more in. Now for me my crown had a thin spot causing me to go back and got lucky with additional coverage in front. I will say I was nervous as hell and afraid of screwing up a good thing.😂
  5. Looking good! Are you planning to grow your hair long like your pre op pictures? I don’t see too many guys after a transplant growing their hair long enough to ponytail it. Anyone know of somebody on here with any success?
  6. Many good doctors out there and Doctor Nader is one of them. Honestly the only reason I went for a third was my crown. I have my crown worked on in the first procedure but is was small because I have soo much loss in my front and the second procedure I did not have my crown touched. The 3rd was really for my crown but I did ask if he could squeeze more in the front. I guess my suggestion to you is possibly use someone that uses the DHI method of implanting so you can achieve a tight result. Others may or may not agree here but you and I both have light fine hair and we need that dense pack to look full. Good luck!
  7. I have blonde hair also. I have had multiple passes in my front all by the same doctor. just snapped the picture today! https://imgur.com/a/VCNFrtx I am pretty sure I was as bald as you starting out.
  8. I used it straight after my procedure. It was something I researched before not recommended by my doctor. But after having 3 procedures and only using that spray after on my 2nd and 3rd procedure I can honestly say it made a huge difference and I have pictures when I go back and see how fast I healed. Stuff is amazing and I never used anything else. Like I said when I sent recover pictures to my doctor he even pointed it out how great it looked after only a few days. In fact I may even give it some credit for my graft survival it’s hard to say but parting through my hair after I feel it was high survival rate for sure.
  9. H2ocean https://www.amazon.com/H2Ocean-Piercing-Aftercare-Spray-Fluid/dp/B007M1ZQM2 this stuff is the trick my redness was gone in less than 2 weeks! My doctor even ask me what I was doing because I healed so fast. That’s all I used for 10 days non stop every 1 hr
  10. Wow dude, you came a long way! That smp looks better than most I have seen. That placed you mentioned does really good work. I would say if they feel they can help I would go with it because I haven’t seen any failures from them yet and I am sure they would really showcase their work with you.
  11. Prime example of what Melvin is talking about on this post. All pictures were taken around the same time in different situations. I think the ones that looked the worse were in a “polo store” dressing room and only at certain angles which I positioned myself to take the picture 😂. Yes this was even after my second procedure. Honestly even after my third I would say the big difference is not in natural lighting it’s all in the those poor overhead lights now it’s not a issue no matter what light I am in. Hopes this helps anyone who thinks their hairline is not perfect. https://imgur.com/a/dPWUJQm
  12. Your hair does look awesome and your right about it can look different. I think Melvin is right on transplants are not perfect but it meant to mimic our real density.
  13. Yes mine was similar to yours after my second. I just wanted it to look like you last picture all the time. Lol, I would be happy either way. I was nervous about doing a third pass in front thinking I could screw it up! Always a chance of damaging existing trying to get it closer. Lucky for me it turned out great!
  14. Well I have thin hair and light hair not the greatest combo. But honestly for anyone that has had a procedure I am sure walking into bathrooms with harsh lights they probably have some “ see through” it all depends whats acceptable to you. Other people can see what you see. Also it all depends on how you style your hair. Obviously straight up is going to be more noticeable like the pictures I had shown.
  15. Those were after my second procedure. Now don’t get me wrong in my car or house without that harsh lights it looked fine.
  16. Myself included in this. https://imgur.com/a/nrRzoCQ Even after my second pass I found myself on the fence. I used to think only in bad lights it looks a little off but how often am I in those situations??? Right? Then I realized I am bad lighting more often than not. In every Walmart, Sam’s club and so forth. Then if someone was shorter than me I sometimes notice their eyes glancing upwards and I knew it was the “see through of my hairline”. I know not all people can get a third pass but honestly it was the best decision I ever made. Now I can’t even mimic those situations ( and trust me I try too!) finally not afraid of harsh lights!!
  17. From my own experience my transplanted hairs had shockloss on the second and third procedure. My doctor was a little conservative doing around 35 grafts per pass.( better survival possibly🤔) So on the 2nd pass I already had around 70 grafts but because of my fine thin hair I felt I needed more. But each time up until the 4th month my shockloss was horrible and I thought it wouldn’t affect my previous work but it did. It does grow back so no worries.
  18. Wow! You make my 3 times look weak!! Considering what you had done those are one of the best results I have seen with that much loss and grafts!! Dammm I might need a forth!! Lol 😂 how much does he charge per graft??
  19. Don’t worry, I looked thin all 3 times at the fourth month mark! And being this is your first transplant it’s the worst around 3-4 months. Then growth starts catching up and you should start seeing a better picture around 6-7 month mark. I have seen some amazing videos from that clinic that’s for sure!
  20. Looks like your hair line in maturing. Unfortunately most guys go through this phase. The crown could be just the way you hair parts. Your still young don’t worry just yet😉
  21. 7.5 month hair dry. The worst lighting I always hide from. I never turned this lights on because I felt insecure but now🤔 directly under my bathroom lights mirror shot! https://imgur.com/a/kLesEkD you can see how fine my hair is in this picture. Good thing is , without these harsh lights it looks super thick. My wife said it’s better then hers!! Lol Rogaine foam 2x day hair vitamins x2 day laser helmet 4x a week sometimes 5!😄 essential oils 2x a day everyday for 4 years now. Seems to have at least halted my hairloss. Although with this long hair I feel like I loose 20-30 hairs a day. Hard to say if it’s breakage or actually loss but so far it’s been growing back. Also consider this: — I used h2ocean sea salt spray after my procedure. Went through like 5 bottles in 10 days. I started using as soon as I got back to my hotel. Sprayed every 30 minutes on my head. ( I did not use the saline spray doctor gave me) — I used rogaine again 2-3 weeks after every procedure. Used my laser helmet around the 11-12 mark after each procedure. I used the essential oil around 11-12 day mark after procedure. I don’t Take medication or do the derma-rolling. But everything else I have been consistent with for 4 years. I believe it helped me with my growth, survival, and overall outcome of my hair.
  22. Sometimes to appreciate where you are, remember where you were. 7.5 month mark! Even wet!! https://imgur.com/a/lMfzfib Straight from shower combed straight back. This was hard to pull off on my first pass wet. Especially at this hair length! In fact I could never pull this off under my harsh bathroom lights on my first procedure.
  23. A pretty good contrast between the two punch sizes. One of the reasons I was able to get 8300 punches out of my head without looking like a freak. .7mm -.8mm the punches used on me. I would cringe at the notion of a 1mm punch unless I was always keeping my hair longer Or if you have really dense thick hair.
  24. Wow your hairloss seems to be almost the exact pattern I had in the front! Our hair color is similar so I feel I can relate. I needed my front touched 3 times to get my results but a second pass might be good also. Totally possible with good hands and experience. Good luck.
