  1. Looking at your pictures earlier in the thread 2600 grafts for the front doesn’t seem like a lot to me because it looks like half of that went to your temples. Look at you pics. Those temples got some good grafts. So that front might look sparse.
  2. Do you have a pic showing your 10day out point?
  3. I think the real question you should ask the doctor is how many grafts per sq cm did he do in your front? Because if the answer is 30-35 that looks about right.
  4. Yeah I am definitely not a record by any stretch. I just hope after this last one they all grow! He did pack it tight! wow I did check that guy out!! I think I had a better yield then him on my first procedure but that second really made a difference!! I went through his post and his 10 mark is similar to mine to hopefully it turns out that thick!!!
  5. Yeah I was just double checking the exact count is more closer to 8300. I should correct this in my post. I will have to look at my papers. I should list all the doubles and single hairs and so forth. I know the average hair count per graft is 2 hairs giving me over 16k hairs in all. I will have to look at my papers again. Also the first procedure was completely extracted using a manual punch. The last two procedures were done using a oscillating extractor. I was told this oscillating way is less trauma and gives a better yield.
  6. Ok glad to hear! I did post some of my results here to take a look. Not worried about losing too much hair because I was at least a 5
  7. Melvin looks great! No doubt about it! Maybe he took offense but honestly I was just saying based on his pictures and videos. It just looked like he had a lot of donor left to do more and anyone can look good a few feet away from a camera. Joe does have a high hairline but it does look good in most lights melvins is lower but it’s not that low. Either way I only said that because his donor looked thick.
  8. I guess your right in a sense. I mean me personally have fine thin hair so not to sure if I have more donor than anyone else. But I kinda feel the doctor does matter. I researched a lot before having my own done I am sure most everyone else too. But the DHI method using implanter pens does yield good results staying in a certain graft per sq cm range. Maybe I am a odd case or just got lucky.
  9. All grown out after my second procedure in these pictures. Very happy and probably did not need a third. But after about 2 years after my second I wanted to cut it real short to really get a idea where my hair was. Then I realized I could use just little more...although I did not think another 2500 grafts but I wanted as much as possible and hopefully never go back!!
  10. I did not have much hair in the front at all going in. My hairline to mid scalp at this point is probably completely transplanted. This pic is like 5 years ago so you know I lost more being on no meds except rogaine and laser. I will ask my doctor if I can mention his name and get back to you. He is very busy and does a lot if referrals. Also can be hard to get ahold of if this is your first time with him. Definitely not turkey though. Lol I can say it’s all done using the DHI method of fue using a implanter pen tool instead of forseps. I marked the photos for all 3 procedures below.
  11. I did shed quite a bit the first time and even the second. For me most of the grew out and in about 30 days the shedding begins. But I will say at least 95% if not more grows back. I was even concerned on going back for a third because up close I felt it was too close to place any more grafts. Now what that being said in real harsh lights I did have a little see through in front. People on here say that’s just the way it is and to deal with it. 3rd time in the chair the doctor checked my front to mid area under a scope. I had going in about 68-70 grafts per sq cm . He added another 30 grafts per sq cm. So will see how this turns out! At this point probably not possible to add more even if I wanted.
  12. 10 days out and looks like it’s growing
  13. I just want to post my donor results from my 3rd transplant 10 days ago. Healing nicely after about 4 bottles of h2ocean spray. Lol I’m I might have 2000 left if I ever needed it but that maybe pushing it. And doctors say fue is not for large cases?
  14. Yeah I don’t want to hijack this guys post but I had 3900 done in two days the first time. (2700 was front to mid scalp and the rest was crown) second was 1850 in front to mid scalp again. This 3rd was 2510 grafts in front to mid scalp again (but around 700 of that went to the crown again. So I had about 8400 grafts in total all done using DHI technique. which is the same way dr Wong does it on fue.
  15. His turkey transplant is a majority of that hair but they were able to pack in some hair in between he already had. I hope my 3rd turns out that thick because he said in the one video he has about 80grafts per sq cm in the front. According to my doctor I have 100 after this last one I just had.
  16. Yeah but he did lower his hairline quite a bit! Looks full!
  17. Stephen mason? That guy did get good results!!!
  18. Yeah I do remember him saying that. I think the implanter tool helps if you started with that. Less scarring.
  19. I kinda guess it depends on the type of procedure you get. For me I have had all 3 done with the choa pen tool DHI method with a modified tip to lessen the trauma. I must say after my first two procedures at a close look they look like they all grew but who knows. I just had a 3rd done so can’t say for sure this time but I am at 10 days and things look good!!
  20. Now this is coming from hasson and Wong? The same place that did multiple procedures on joe tilman? If you look close at his videos showing the 3 repairs he did with them he definitely improved each time. My doctor said he has never seen a patient look worse after multiple procedures.
  21. Out of 3 procedures. I can say it makes a big difference. but I use h2ocean the tattoo spray. my recovery time was so fast my doctor actually asked me what I was doing because people don’t usually recover that fast. Now I probably over used the stuff. I used every 1hr for the first 8 days. I went through a bottles of the stuff but results speak for themselves in my case. I know it works because I did not use on my first procedure and my recovery was definitely longer.
  22. That’s why I was surprised because you did start out good. My 2 cents for what it’s worth. All comes down to graft count per sq cm. Do you even know what that is in your case? As it has been explained to me 30-35 grafts per sq cm from front to mid scalp is typical and could yield a 98% growth in most cases. Anything they do above that those number start dropping. Now some surgeons calm because of their unique process they can do more but I don’t buy into that. Anything over those counts is a gamble plain and simple. It’s best to do separate procedures at those same numbers to build up density this way at least what get transplanted grows.
