  1. Ok, I was asking because I have been through this process 3 times so I only can speak for me. Some grafts break off early on and some shed with in the month and some just keep growing! That how it was for me 3 times. I took tons of pics. But in your case it I would think if the graft was not going to take it would have does early on? It is possible in any shockloss that it does not return even with your existing hair.
  2. I don’t understand? Looking at your pictures early on in the process, it looked like most of the hair grew with in the first 10 days? That’s a good sign that the grafts took? So are you saying when they shed they many grafts did not grow back??
  3. Lol maybe you should follow the advice of lasercap. That guy knows his stuff. I know a few things he said to me in a private email were spot on and contradicts a few things you say on here. Joe Tillman has no see through in his front under any light and that guy had no hair to start also. Just saying powder is ok but many people don’t need it with the right surgeon.
  4. Fuexpert seems to have results with no see through. If your happy with that it's cool but your definitely could use another 2000 grafts in front. And if you have the donor then why not? I don't know about you but I seem to be in harsh lights in a lot of situations. So yes that would bother me.
  5. Dude,11weeks??come on dude the ugly duckling stage starts at 2-3 month mark for most people. Most people can’t really see results until 6-8 month mark that show the improvement.
  6. Oops. Looks good! But the real test is the dreaded department store dressing rooms. 😬 if you can walk into a kohl’s or polo store and look good inside their dressing rooms then you have succeeded in the density department. Lol
  7. That doctor is crazy then. I had a better result on 35cm2 on my first pass. If that is 50 then I would say a lot did not grow. I was always told 35-40 per cm2 the most and come back for a second. Anymore then that you can run into blood flow issues and survival of graft. I am sure some people can do it but I would feel better playing it safe.
  8. Interesting...I never thought of it as a method but that exactly how mine was done 4 years ago. I had 2 procedures. The only difference was on the first one he used a manual punch and implanter tool with premade slits. The second for some reason he switched to a motorized punch extraction. But it does look natural!
  9. Looks like he packed out the front to aggressively for the first go. Even if he lost his native hair the front should look better then that looking at the pictures and how dense he tried to get the frontal hairline. I would say this is partly the doctor’s fault. He should take into account a realistic number of grafts per sq cm on the first procedure. Sure higher is better but a greater risk of not all the grafts surviving. Doctors never take the blame it’s bad for business but I call it how I see it.
  10. I been taking some msm supplement biotin and every now and then silica. I have been using rogaine and laser igrow for about 4 years. I do use some natural oils like peppermint everyday. This seems to have halted most of my hairloss. Because prior to that I was losing quite a bit!So I understand and probably agree with the conservative approach hair transplant as you described. I have to say there’s a lot of doctors that do dense packing and it turns out pretty thick the first go. But maybe it’s a greater risk that could yield a greater reward🤔
  11. What you said makes complete sense!!!! That’s exactly how my doctor thinks. I just thought after 2 passes I would achieve my goal. I do have fine hair which does not help but on the other hand light hair and skin does help my donor area not looking to bad. I was kinda worried about taking another 2000 grafts out not sure what I would have left after that but hopefully it will be enough that even if I lose more I will have enough transplant to be content.
  12. Do you think any risk of damaging the existing? Also I forgot to mention that’s 2700 spread out to mid scalp then a second pass of 1800 spread the same. So not sure exactly what made it to the actual front. Would you say with my hair type this is good? The pic below is basically my starting point. That’s a few weeks after my first. It’s been about 4 year since then I might have lost some more front. It’s hard to say.
  13. I have already had 2 passes in the front. But to be honest it was spread out to about mid scalp. Does this look good for two passes? I hardly had anything in the front.
