  1. Hopefully your results with your FUT come out as good as mine. We seem to have a similar hair type although maybe my hair loss was at a greater extent than yours in the beginning. I stuck with Dr. Nader because I feel all my procedures went well. With our hair type and color it’s hard to get that density in one pass.
  2. Dr. Louis Nader is one of the best! Very happy with my results. his team is absolutely great and my results speak volumes on what he can do. FIRST PROCEDURE-was around 3900 grafts done in two day. This covered my front and crown. SECOND PROCEDURE- was around 1850 focused on the front for added density. Although I was happy at this point my crown might have gotten a little thinner with in the 2 year span so I went in for a 3rd. THIRD PROCEDURE- 2550 grafts placed in front and crown. Currently I am only out 5 months from this procedure. I do have light and thin hair which makes density a challenge but Dr. Nader gave me the best result I could hope for. Thank you Dr. Nader!😊
  3. I understand it’s kind of a double edge sword. If your donor area is thin, A big line going across is going to be somewhat noticeable even at a three guard. if you use a option “B” Grabn hair from ear to ear and trying to pull grafts out fue Meticulously to even out that thinning. Whatever you do good luck!
  4. Well I have been through the process 3 times and have looked and many results from fut and even they say it moves more hair I don’t see it. Realize that fut is much faster for the doctors and less time consuming for them. That is the reason in my humble opinion they push that as the gold standard. But according to the gurus I must be 1 and a million because by their advice I could never achieve the coverage and density by FUE. Maybe I am just extremely lucky 🤔. Also punch size is usually determined by the diameter of your hair but 8mm can be used even on thick hair so in theory there should no reason why a doctor can’t use that size. Unless your head is a majority of 3-4 hairs per graft. Show me a guy who has done FUT in one pass with no “see through” in bad lights? Which I would assume hairs might able to placed tighter with fue than fut🤔 Also it is ultimately going to come down to how many graft per sq cm placed that will determine your end results.
  5. Maybe the punch size they used was too large making your donor area thin. I would do another fue using a 8mm punch and use a doctor that could somehow blend that out a little better. All a fut will do is make your situation worse that I promise.
  6. If you want your hair short do NOT and I mean do NOT do a FUT!! You are playing Russian roulette on how it will turn out. Especially because you have darker hair it will stick out!!
  7. Hopefully your fut turns out good. I too went to Dr. Nader and I had way more hairloss than you going in. I will say your disappointment with fue was like someone else mentioned in your post. You had a very small procedure for such a large area. I have thinner hair than you but had 8300 grafts fue in 3 procedures between front and crown. Fut is not better and I will put my results against anyone of Dr. Bloxham patients with my degree of hairloss.
  8. Try visiting “planet Stephen” on YouTube. He did take them up on a second free surgery with mixed results.
  9. Personally,I would never go with a clinic that does multiple surgeries a day. You want one team and one focus. This is a tiring job no doubt. And if the doctor is just a supervisor then.... no way would I ever book with that clinic. Common sense folks.
  10. Looks like the first procedure had a lower yield. Do you know how many grafts per sq cm that was on the first and second?? It’s amazing to me how many people don’t know this kind of detail but it does relate to how well your results will be.
  11. Just keep in mind even hasson and Wong can give a bad result. Just look up “Christopher” I think he now works there. in my opinion he had a bad result. Who ever that guy had either hasson or Wong , I would go with the one who did not do him!!
  12. Yeah judging on where you at now and compared to me where I was at before my 3rd I would say you need at least 2500 for you to be satisfied. I mean 1500 will probably be good but I doubt if that is spread out in a large area.
  13. That’s where that joe Tillman went for his last 4 procedures. Also that Stephen mason guy. All YouTube guys.
  14. I agree with the other guy. You should have done about 3500 the first run and then go back. I don’t blame you I would blame the doctor. My doctor advice to me was doing that way is a lower risk of low yield. Doctors that just want to try and do a home run everytime with that many grafts seem to be the greedy ones. Just my opinion. But hey if joe Tillman Can get his hair back after a donor deficit then so can you!
  15. Mr. lasercap seems to have been in the business since the beginning. So yeah he does make sense. 30-35 graftsper sq cm for front to midsection 3 passes would give you as close to natural density you possibly could get. The problem is there is no way to achieve that in one procedure and even two! Now being I am on that 3rd pass I will see if your right or wrong. I hope 🤞
  16. No I don’t take that stuff. What I have been doing for 4 years is laser helmet(Igrow) about 4 times a week Biotin, silica, msm for hair quality rogaine foam, which am considering stopping but am afraid too! Only because although not bad my heart rate is higher on it. peppermint oil diluted in water spray 2 times a day. Sometimes I mixed other oils in as well like rosemary and tea tree. all that has seemed to keep progression at bay!🤞
  17. Grow it out. Doctor did say I have a nice shaped head if I ever needed a plan b. 😂
  18. Ok you had way more in the front then me starting out but I might have had a little more in the crown. My front to almost mid scalp was almost bare! Just over 2 week mark below! 3 surgeries but not sure if it possible to pack any tighter than this. 🤔
  19. Interesting, do you have a pic from where you started?
  20. 2week Mark. Most of the hair stuck and is growing. I had a few that fell with the crust. I started back on rogaine already. Hopefully the shed is only like 50% like last time.
  21. I had 3 transplants. For me all have been the same. I would say 98% grew from the start all the way to about the 1 month mark and the ones that did fall broke off with the scabs. Then at the 1 month mark I noticed hair in my hands after every wash until the ugly phase.
  22. Could be a circulatory issue. I had a fried with the same problem.
