  1. Gotcha. Thanks for the reply. And enjoy the added attention from the opposite sex! Lol
  2. Congrats!!! So happy for you!! I apologize if it’s already been mentioned but how many grafts were placed in the crown?
  3. Wow! Just wow! This has to be the best vertex result I’ve ever seen. Happy for you! Do you have any idea of the size of the area covered in this procedure? Like square centimeters or inches or whatever?
  4. Gotcha. Thanks for the reply. It looks good. Do you use any concealer?
  5. Amazing result! I’ll be following this one. Very interested in seeing his crown at 12 months.
  6. Ok guys I started using the Kirkland foam. I experienced irritation quite quickly. I read about using head and shoulders or selsun blue to deal with minoxidil related irritation. I’m happy to say that the shampoo helped, and I’m now able to use minoxidil without the itching and or rash.
  7. It is definitely possible to see some regrowth. 3 months is still very early. Give it more time.
  8. Yes it’s perfectly fine. Just not right after surgery. If you’ve had a transplant recently, ask your surgeon how long to wait before you use it.
  9. I’ve been on fin around 7 years. I started to see results around 6 months. I did see a little bit of regrowth. My hair loss is stabilized I haven’t noticed any further loss.
  10. I used Rogaine and Kirkland foam for a couple years with good results. No irritation. No side effects. I’m always looking for an edge so I tried lipogaine a few years back. Same thing good results. Then I tried perfect hair. It irritated my scalp and gave me a rash. I stopped using it for a while then tried the rogaine/Kirkland foam and it irritated and gave me a rash as well. I haven’t used minoxidil in quite a while and am going to try Rogaine foam one more time. Has anyone else experienced anything similar ?
  11. You definitely can achieve a great result. I’m very satisfied with my results from Dr. Diep. That being said, I would definitely try finasteride first. It could help immensely.
  12. Your results look good. My crown looks like yours was pre op. I’m trying to plan for my crown. Any chance of posting a pic or two of your crown with concealer? As mentioned by other posters, you could thicken your crown more with beard hair.
  13. Congrats on your procedure! Looks good! I’ll be following this one
  14. Your crown is not bad at all. I would not go forward with a transplant now. I’d stick with meds, keep using Toppik and give smp a second look.
  15. I highly recommend him. Great results. I live closeby so I was able to go back the first couple days after surgery for washings. Good care.
  16. I’ve had sensitive testes off and on over the years. It started long before I took finasteride. The doc checked me out and said everything is fine. I wouldn’t worry. Just follow his instructions and I’m sure you’ll be fine.
  17. It’s normal. New thicker hairs are probably growing in.
  18. Ht growth doesn’t depend on finasteride. The drug can make it look a whole lot better tho. It can make an average ht look like a home run. Or a subpar ht look average. Whether you take it is up to you of course, but think about this, if you don’t take it and are not happy with your results, your doc will say I prescribed it why didn’t you take it?
