  1. Hi Denominator, Congratulations on reaching the 3 month milestone. You are likely just at the beginning of your growth and now should start seeing your hair gradually thickening over the coming months as more and more of the implanted grafts start to grow the new hairs. It actually already looks somewhat thicker than your pre-op photos. Stay positive and carry on with the regime. As always contact me direct whenever you wish to do so. Happy growing, exciting times ahead..........................
  2. Hi Deubang, You have extensive balding and your donor area doesn't appear to have the donor resource to adequately cover your balding regions. Looking closely at your pics, I too can see what appears to be many miniaturizing hairs. So your first port of call should be Finasteride. I would advise you to initially take it for 6 months to a year (if no obvious side effects) and then re-assess your scalp after this time. As it stands you would probably need more than one surgery and if possible you may well need to utilize beard/body hair to give you anything resembling a decent result.
  3. Hi Wheretogo, You should be fine with the sweating, with this heatwave the whole world is temporary in a permasweat. You should be fine just wiping down with a towel, there's no need to wash your scalp a few times a day. After 146 days you should be able to do whatever you wish exercise wise. Exercise will generally make you feel better within yourself, make you more healthy which can only be good for growth. Also it will help reduce your stress levels, again that can only be a good thing. Comparing your progress with others can often get patients unnecessary worried, all worked up and stressed out which can only be a bad thing. We all grow out differently so generally you should aim for the 10-12 month mark to assess the result, with up to 18 months to allow for the grown hairs to mature back to their natural state. The following growth timeline has been mentioned several times on this site and I personally think it's a pretty good estimate. 3 months - 10% 4 months - 25% 5 months - 40% 6 months - 60% 7 months - 70% 8 months - 75% 9 months - 80% 10 months - 90% 11 months - 95% 12 months - 98% 18 months - 100%
  4. You hit the nail on the head there sir, when you've managed to miraculously get your hair back you tend to treasure it a bit more than the first time around!
  5. Guys, It's a perfectly natural reaction to get the jitters when shampooing your newly acquired transplanted hair, I think I was very careful not to rub too hard or towel dry too hard for nearly 18 months. Even now.... nearly 4 years on I still try not to be too vigorous. But I do believe it's all psychological, once the hair has grown out you can treat it just like your other native hair, after all that is what it is.
  6. Hi Sandyr, Feel free to contact me on the details below if you wish to have my support.
  7. Thousands of people do it every day, statistically it's the safest way to travel. At any given time there are approximately 6000 planes in the air!!! The world is a huge and wonderful place full of excitement and adventure, go grab yourself some of that.
  8. Hi Gunny, I would expect most of the US surgeons recommended on this site will offer the no shave technique for smaller procedures of approximately less than 2000 grafts. It really depends on your balding pattern, e.g. a small crown procedure or a small adjustment to the hairline or temples can be covered by longer surrounding hair. Anything bigger than this starts to get messy, and time consuming so you will see the costs rise. Surgeons prefer a blank shaved canvas for larger procedures or procedures where a larger mass is to be covered. Also a larger no shave procedure will be a styling nightmare, its better to go down the shaven route.
  9. Hi Sandyr, Sorry to hear about your bad experience, unfortunately you aren't the first to make that mistake and certainly won't be the last. If you wish to go down the FUE route with someone with a proven track record, then why not consider Dr Bhatti. He is inundated with repair work in India! Have a read of my story for more detailed info in my link below, and here's just a few more from this site alone. 30 year old Irish Man large 2 day session http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/170853-4346-fue-grafts-dr-bhatti-india.html 25 Year old Indian 1800 grafts to hairline http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/182061-my-hair-transplant-journey-dr-tejinder-bhatti-1800-grafts-7months-completed.html David - Hair Transplant Network Moderator http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178637-dr-tejinder-bhatti-2412-fue-february-23-2015-a.html 36 year old American 3750 grafts http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/169005-hair-restoration-procedure-w-dr-tejinder-bhatti.html 29 year old Australian 4000 grafts (this was the story that inspired me to go to Dr Bhatti) http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/167897-hair-transplant-dr-tejinder-bhatti-darling-buds-chandigarh-india.html 27 year old German 2364 grafts http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/170355-my-experience-dr-tejinder-bhatti-2364-grafts-fue-restore-hairline.html https://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/journal.asp?CopyID=9836&WebID=2698 30 year old Indian 2500 grafts repair surgery http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171606-dr-tejinder-bhatti-2500-grafts.html 26 year old european 3011 grafts http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/175743-dr-tejinder-bhatti-3011-fue-grafts.html 26 year old Indian 3200 grafts http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/175746-dr-tejinder-bhatti-3200-fue-grafts.html 29 year old indian 3200 grafts http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/175747-dr-tejinder-bhatti-3200-fue-grafts-type-4-patient.html Seth Australian Patient 3 surgeries with Dr Bhatti http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/Sethticles/albums/4866/28695 31 year old Israeli 2485 grafts http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171738-hey-guys-i-got-help-you-so-here-i-post-my-story-dr-tejinder-bhatti.html 37 year old US man 2928 grafts to repair 2 previous sub standard surgeries http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/168567-fue-hair-transplant-dec-14-2012-dr-tejinder-bhatti-darling-buds.html 27 year old indian male http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/175847-6-months-update-dr-bhatti.html Traction Alopecia Case http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/168356-traction-alopecia-sikh-male-punjab-india.html Indian 3000 grafts part 1 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/168631-dr-bhatti-fue-hair-transplant-2-stages.html UK Guy 3000 grafts http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/HTindia/albums/1775 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/168149-caucasian-male-3000-fue-grafts.html Indian Guy 5000 grafts http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/168492-dr-bhatti-fue-body-hair-transformation.html Feel free to contact me direct should you wish to take things further.
  10. Makes sense Trix, good luck with your transplant, hope all goes as planned.
  11. David Silva would have used the shaven head to disguise the transplant as will most players to hide the ugly duckling stage. I'm not sure what the story is with Beckham but I can recall him having the shaven look shortly after there were signs of him maybe thinning. Just keep it short for 5 months and then let it grow out gradually keeping the native hair uniform with the new hair growing out. I actually used the same tactic and advise most patients to do so too.
  12. Yes, I thought it was fairly obvious with the redness around his forehead at the beginning of last season that Silva had it done. Just google "David Silva hair" and check out the images. As for FUE/FUT, due to the limited time they get and the need to quickly get back into intensive pre-season training I would say that probably rules out FUT.
  13. Most players will have their transplants during the summer. You will have seen David Silva shave his head all season, Rooney did the same. Fabregas just had his hairline and temples strengthened I believe using the no shave technique and he just carried on through the ugly duckling stage. Bilic was there at the sidelines at West Ham showing his progress until his unfortunate departure. The sun in the UK is not strong enough to cause any Premier League players problems and the season ends in May. As for La Liga, not sure which players you refer to but the possibility of playing in the sun is far greater although I would say 6 months is a bit overkill. On another note, I wouldn't be surprised if Bale gets his crown addressed this summer, with no football over the summer it's an ideal time for him to get it sorted whilst all eyes are on the World Cup.
  14. Hi Jowin, Firstly if you only need 1800 grafts and have a good donor area then I would personally ask you to at least consider going down the less invasive FUE route for a relatively minor surgery. As for the amount of grafts, if you already have a reasonable amount of hair then why not try to keep hold of it. You could start taking Finasteride to help recover your existing hair and help prepare it for possible shock loss during surgery. If you stay on a dosage of Finasteride for longer then this will theoretically help preserve your existing hair for longer thus delaying/halting the need for a further top up procedure. Obviously photos will help in giving a more precise analysis.
  15. Hi, Dr Bhatti is usually booked 2-3 months in advance but pockets of dates are still available. Drop me an email and I'll check availability for your preferred dates.
  16. I would describe your donor as average too.
  17. Here you go, click the link below http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/186854-questions-ask-surgeons.html
  18. Hi Sparky, Sure, I'll get Dr Bhatti to have a look at it, but it'll be difficult without some clear pics. You can email them to me on darlingbudsUK@gmail.com. Or drop me a PM and I'll give you my personal whatsapp for you to send to. On another note, it's good that you've realised the risk of using too many grafts at an early age for one specific area, I hope it's not too late for you. I've a feeling that there'll be loads more similar pics popping up to the ones you've just posted in the coming years!
  19. Hi Sparky, Judging from your pic the top and front of your head looks real good. Your donor from the side also looks good to go for the minimum grafts you'll need to achieve your aim of filling in your marked areas. You could as indicated take a few from your beard too. Personally I wouldn't try to remove grafts from an area that looks that good and already has had 2 lots of implantations done on it. If you've only had the 2 FUTs then surely you will have grafts available for the small FUE touch up you desire. Why don't you post a clear pic of your donor area. Another option is to trim/style your hair so that it is slightly longer above the humps and falls over them to cover them, just a slight alteration on your current style and will solve your problem for free.
  20. Yes, photos prior to the surgery and immediately post surgery will be very useful if you want a more accurate evaluation from the forum. Also an indication of the hair restoration plan would be useful. Your donor area does look sparse but could still yield you grafts. Try growing it a bit longer to see how it looks.
  21. Hi Jordan, You appear to be supporting a comb-over to hide thinning in your mid scalp. Generally I would say it looks like you are thinning all over and at 28 I would say you are a diffuse thinner heading for an NW6 pattern. You do appear to be an ideal candidate to go down the medical route (Finasteride/Minoxidil). This should over time help recover your existing hair and help delay any future aggressive balding. It should be your first port of call, make an appointment to see your doctor.
  22. Hi, Sounds like you're in for a treat. Feel free to contact me direct if you wish to discuss any aspects of your trip.
  23. Your donor looks good, for the amount of grafts you need, FUE is definitely an option.
  24. Hi Ben, I would say in the region of about 2400 grafts to rebuild/reinforce your hairline and strengthen your mid scalp and approximately a further 600 to thicken your crown. However you could also get away with using fibres for a few years if you wish to do so.
