  1. Looks great so far. Would have expected no less if i'd seen your 3 month photos. Seems that most people that experience that early growth have knockout results!
  2. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to go through a failed/unsatisfactory hair transplant. I am glad you are on the path to recovery though. I'm sure Dr. Cooley will do you proud, all the best!
  3. 1. I don't routinely praise ordinary results, nor do I consistently knock Dr. Bhatti's. Please don't egregiously misrepresent my conduct. Again, this just smacks of disingenuous attempts to marginalise my opinion, which I'm perfectly entitled to hold. I have no motive to criticise Dr.Bhatti, I'm merely providing an observation which other members are free to listen to, or disregard completely. 2. I never directly criticised the result, I simply stated that, in my opinion, this case used too few grafts for the area covered. Furthermore, I most certainly would not be "jumping up and down with joy" if one of my "favored surgeons" produced this result, I would meet it with precisely the same skepticism as is the case here. Frankly, it's more than a little ironic that you are insinuating that I, who has no incentive whatsoever to do so, am enacting some sort of vendetta against Dr. Bhatti; whereas you, as a direct representative of his clinic are simply judging the case on its merits. Differences of opinion are one thing but I do not appreciate being characterised as unnecessarily zealous/malicious in my appraisal of results, as nothing could be further from the truth.
  4. Not even sure what you're referring to. I don't tend to hold grudges against anonymous forum members about something so trivial. To be perfectly candid, that seems like a very thinly veiled (and i hope ineffective) attempt to discredit my opinion, which Spanker clearly shares. Call a spade a spade, this may be an acceptable result for the amount of grafts used but 1200 was clearly not enough for the area covered. I have noticed that Dr. Bhatti quite often uses low graft counts on large areas that leaves what, to my mind, is a very poor aesthetic impression.
  5. I would say, in my completely unprofessional opinion, this type of growth, at this stage, almost always bodes well for the final result. Exciting times ahead! Best of luck.
  6. Subjective question of aesthetics. Agree with the above but would also add Keser/De Freitas/Pekiner.
  7. De Freitas is streets ahead imo. Pity he's not recommended here, though given how long his waiting list is already, perhaps that's for the best! Also a fan of Keser & latterly, Pekkiner.
  8. Wouldn't expect a positive response - Keser tends to heavily favour smaller cases (especially as he does all the work himself). Great to see a case of his on here, excellent results so far!
  9. Don't think that's a great example tbh but your point stands. Looks like he'd been diffusing for quite a while, but retaining a strong hairline, coupled with his elected hairstyle gave the impression of a full head of hair for a good long time. - Age 50
  10. This looks really promising. Fingers crossed for you!
  11. Could be wrong but I'm reasonably sure that number will refer to the number of grafts used in the creation of the "temple points" or "temporal peaks", rather than the area that is colloquially referred to as "the temples".
  12. Absolutely, but that's to be expected with only 2.8k grafts and that level of loss. The massive comb-over gives the illusion of coverage but that's likely it. It's certainly held up well but that's to be expected. Still, interesting to see such an old result.
  13. Pretty sure Kaan worked under Keser, hence the reminiscence. Looks good but difficult to judge at that length with the styling employed.
  14. To be honest this is a bit of a hallmark of Dr. Bhatti in my opinion: placing grafts too sparsely in a large recipient area. Obviously that's not the problem as regards the right side, which is just poor growth. Edit: Should have read your entire comment Home, I see this is basically exactly what you said, lol! I have thought about making a similar comment numerous times but normally don't like to appear "negative for negative's sake", but I 100% agree. This clinic doesn't seem to do a great job in terms of planning for an appropriate number of grafts.
  15. Great candidate, great result. 50 yrs old /w that hairline? Feelsgoodman.
  16. Voice of reason ^^ Don't be ashamed or worried, just go and see a doctor who can give you the advice you really need. Be well.
  17. Agree wholeheartedly with Jean, this same, tired argument is routinely trotted out in cases of aggressive restoration. Say what you want about the risks attached (which is a far more legitimate concern) but the notion that a great hairline will suddenly look bad on an older man is ridiculous. Also, I think it's rather foolish to imply that this is an "easy case", to replicate the kind of native density (or come close to it) this patient had in one sitting is far from trivial. This type of "seeking perfection" patient is likely every bit as challenging as someone with considerably more surface area to cover; perhaps even more so since the perceived change will be much less dramatic and the PT's expectations are likely more exacting. I have seen myriad cases of guys with minor recession that do not even come close to being as good as this one. Dr Rahal's clinic may be famous for this type of case, but that doesn't somehow negate the considerable surgical and artistic skill involved in creating a hairline like this. Just my opinion.
  18. Couldn't agree more Gast, if I didn't explicitly know I was looking at the result of a HT, my only thought would be : "lucky bastard". Top drawer work, as always.
