  1. To me personally, it's still difficult to see exactly what you mean. To me it just looks like you have a normal hairline with zero recession. Maybe the pics are not doing it justice.
  2. Personally I think your goals are borderline absurd and that you're destined to be met with a result that is unlikely to meet your expectations; not to mention the fact that if you are indeed balding (and I concur with the others here who suggest you almost certainly are) you'll effectively be committing follicular harikiri. Take your time, get authoritative analysis done by an expert to determine if you have MPB. If you are still dead-set on a HT, I would suggest a fin/minox regime first and then assess whether your're stable. Discuss expectations with the surgeon in question (I'm betting no surgeon is going to do what you appear to want done) and determine whether you're likely to be satisfied with a more realistic outcome. There is no rush.
  3. You had most factors on your side (particularly Dr. K!) going in, that said, it looks incredible and it's great to see that the result is holding up so well. Really speaks to the benefits of being committed to meds if you're contemplating a transplant. Enjoy that mop sir!
  4. Lucky to have such great temple points prior to surgery, outstanding result. Rahal rarely misses when it comes to this type of case. Enjoy the mop!
  5. That's just your subjective opinion of hairline aesthetics though. The work looks exemplary, as it so often does from this clinic. Personally, I don't see a huge problem with increasing the density in the hairline and touching up the temple points, doesn't seem like the hairline has been lowered much at all. I think the hairstyle accentuates the impression. Tbh, it would be nicer to see post-op pics that expose it, though I understand the patient has sent these.
  6. Haha, holy crap. Completely unnecessary ofc but this dude has rockstar hair now The temple point work and hairline density look second to none, bravo Dr.!
  7. Hi Redchicken, I wouldn't worry about finasteride damaging your hair. Most of the stories posted online about this occurring are anecdotal and are more likely to be cases in which the drug was ineffective at the hairline. I would surmise that the patient has seen the continuation of the hair loss that was likely to occur irrespective of their taking finasteride. It is unlikely to miraculously restore a thinning hairline to its former glory but could still have a distinctly positive effect. I had a pretty decent anterior response to fin/min (which you can view via my profile if interested) and am happy i took the decision to begin taking it, even though (as you describe) i only had mild thinning/recession. Personally I didn't notice much of a shed initially but am confident it has thickened my hair throughout the scalp and even had an impact at the hairline. Best of luck whatever you decide!
  8. I wouldn't mind betting this is going to be an absolute peach of a result. The 10 day shots show one of the best hairlines I've seen from Erdogan. You're lucky to have maintained great temple points which will make the finished article look even better. Congratulations and good growth, Ritchie.
  9. I'd say both temples have receded somewhat and there may be a little frontal hairline thinning. Starting treatment could definitely be a good option for you. However, you still have what appears to be a good head of hair by and large. Just my opinion and I don't claim to know authoritatively!
  10. Were you nw3 when you started finasteride Ernie?
  11. I feel sorry for him in the same way I feel sorry for anyone who loses their hair. Because he's rich we shouldn't sympathise? All the money in the world won't reverse a genetic predisposition.
  12. Personally I don't think he's had any work done, he just has dense hair and only minor frontal loss (though anyone who knows anything about hair loss can clearly see he's receding) such that with a top-knot he can cover his balding crown. Here's a pic from yesterday v Slovakia when his knot slipped into a ponytail. Feel sorry for the lad, but i dare say he'll address it in the coming years.
  13. You're entitled to your opinion about Rooney, but Bale is balding, guaranteed. Why I would have any vested interest in claiming that, or wish it on him? Simply pointing out the obvious. Would guess he'll address it in the coming years.
  14. Gareth Bale is ugly and balding himself. Ever wondered why he has a top-knot and long hair? Balding 100%, his knot slipped into a ponytail and you could see his crown was thin as hell. He's been hiding it for a while. Also, Rooney in his prime was every bit as good as Bale is now, probably better tbh.
  15. It's amusing that loads of people have no clue and just think he's had his head partly shaved or that he's had some kind of bad haircut >.< As for the aggressiveness, I don't think they've lowered his hairline at all, he had quite a strange pattern.
  16. That is one seriously bad haircut! Nice result, though Though with 70 micron donor and a temple dense-pack, you'd expect that, i suppose.
  17. Fantastic final result Astaldo; do you think you'll go back for the 800 extra you mention or keep them in reserve? Tremendous outcome, either way!
  18. I am no expert and the actual numbers are best left to those qualified to make an assessment but i'd suggest that you'll be looking at significantly more than 1500 grafts to fill the area marked. Probably closer to 2.5k (and possibly more), imo.
  19. Congrats on the procedure. Dr. Diep seems to do extremely consistent work, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the eventual outcome.
  20. As always, superb work from Dr. Cooley. The temple point improvements make a big difference to the overall outcome.
  21. Beautiful case, is it really 3660 grafts though? Doesn't seem like it'd require that many grafts to cover the surface area shown. I suppose if the density is 60 fu/cm2 + then it's possible. Anyway, excellent result and as David notes, a very aesthetically pleasing hairline.
