  1. Oh my god.... Those extraction sites are terrible, probably using a 2mm punch... The recipient is even worse. What in the world are those white bulbs extruding out of the front?
  2. Very dense and the work looks super prestine immediate post-operative
  3. Congrats Voxman. Curious as to your reasons for under-going strip for you second procedure, were your FUE eligible grafts tapped out? EDIT: I was under the assumption you had FUE for your first procedure, turns out that's not the case?
  4. De Reys was recommended at one stage, that is indisputable a his name and profile were listed. I'm unsure of what happened since though.
  5. I can't find Dr De Reys on the recommended surgeons list...
  6. To my knowledge Dr Feller used to use his own Feller motorized punch but now uses manual tools. I have not been able to edit that post for well over a year as I think after 30 days the post becomes static and can no longer be changed unless with moderator approval
  7. Very nice. Immediate post-operative status looks very prestine and refined.
  8. Since its inception, I have only seen a handful of knockout results, alot average results and alot of weak results. Not impressed in the slightest, especially when compared to a manual hand punch costing all of $60-200US...
  9. Indeed the scar is very well hidden. If the patient didn't buzz his head so close there would be zero sign of scarring. Good work.
  10. Scar is very well hidden now. How many grafts were placed into the scar itself? 1,500 seems much too much for just the scars themselves??
  11. Good showcase of an exclusive scar revision. Often times the surgeon/patient opt for more hair and a scar revision simultaneously but that decreases the chances of a thin scar.
  12. Barbaric might not be the best term for it. Compared to FUE, it is generally seen as more invasive because it cuts deeper and is continuous. Watch videos of both procedures being performed by elite surgeons and judge for yourself.
  13. I would not undergo a procedure. Sadly you exhibit what looks like retrograde alopecia and I would suspect that your crown will dip further down in time as I can see a slight halo where the density is lower but it could be the lighting. The retrograde alopecia narrows the safe zone in the donor area which means the transplanted hairs are not immune to vanishing at a later time. I'm sorry to tell you this but having any surgery will likely cause big regrets later down the line in your situation.
  14. Impressive. Doctor(Feller or Bloxham), how much would you say physiology plays a part in how the scar forms?
  15. Yaz I am extremely skeptical at this point in time. Until I see conclusive proof, I will not make a judgement call.
  16. Could you please tell us how many grafts were extracted? That is pivotal in determining the excellence/severity of the scarring.
  17. As far as I am aware, this varies from state to state. It is not unheard of for surgeons/clinics to fly in techs to perform entire hair transplant surgeries. In fact, one forum member mentioned this exact scenario to me a while ago when he underwent his surgery with a surgeon that was not recommended here but was later enlisted(I should mention it was not Dr Feller)....
  18. Any specific reason/reasons you have that it is definitely Dr Erdogan? I remember a patient of Dr Hakan's told us that his entire surgery was over within 7-8 hours inclusive of everything(preparation, numbing the donor/recipient, scoring/extracting etc) and his case was fairly large. I was somewhat mindboggled.
  19. Definitely contact the clinic. I'm sure that if your donor density is high enough and your hairloss is fairly stable, Lorenzo could accommodate for you. Alot of the conservative hairlines you see are on guys that had aggressive hairloss and had to be played safe.
  20. Looks great. Dr's True and Dorin are very underated in my opinion. Would be cool to see more of their work being posted.
