  1. Excellent work. Very refined and reminds me alot of Dr Gabel and Dr Konior in terms of the cleanliness of the recipient and donor areas post-op, minimal bleeding etc. The donor also looks untouched which is impressive.
  2. Oh man that is so sad... I had some conversations with Alex in private and publicly on the forum and he was always sincere and honest. Very saddening news especially with kids so young. My deepest condolences do his friends and family...
  3. Just checked the photos again, you want to drop the hairline much more than 2cm which means more than 2,000 grafts. Don't do it.
  4. Lowering/creating a hairline 2 centimeters is substantial and would require well over 1,500 for a convincing look with good density. At age 22 I simply would not risk it. I know that is not what you want to hear but using up 1,500-2,000 grafts to essentially build a completely new hairline could lead to serious problems later on if your native hair behind it starts to thin as you will have less donor grafts in the reserve. If the initial procedure fails or yields poorly, then you will have no choice but to use up more precious grafts in order not to look bizarre and you can quickly deplete your entire donor zone if this occurs. I would wait until at least 30 at a minimum and then analyze your options. I know this answer won't please you but you must be careful. All the money in the world cannot replace those finite amount of eligible grafts we have.
  5. Please keep us updated Doctor. Scar revision cases are quite rare in documented form.
  6. I have no reason to think Feriduni has fallen out of the limelight. I still think he is an excellent strip/FUE physician as he is excellent at both which is not all too common now.
  7. The patient was a high norwood prior to surgery. Some surgeons would have simply declined to operate on him considering the large depletion of donor area and the fact the the crown is still barren. From what I have seen of Dr Lupanzula, I like. He has similar protocols the Dr Bisanga(from what I have seen) in terms of donor conservation, manual tools etc. But I have only seen limited amounts of his work, which do look great. Dr Lorenzo is awesome and has more video documented before/afters than most(all??) other surgeons out there, maybe second to Hasson & Wong in quantity. I do think his yields are incredible.
  8. How many grafts very extracted? Erdogan's clinic is known for harvesting very large quantities which is not a protocol I agree with.
  9. FUE yields and techniques have definitely improved over time however FUE scarring is usually(but not exclusively) a result of punch tip size. The ARTAS was known to use large tips in excess of 1mm but that came around circa 2012-2013, after this patient had his procedure. This has supposedly been rectified. The SAFE scribe was not known to use excessively large punches at any stage of its lifespan. The CIT manual hand punch and its range of varying tips(0.75 mm to 1.35 mm) have been around since the mid-2000s as well as the much cheaper Versi handle used by many top European FUE surgeons. Large punch FUE tips were more commonly used during and shortly after FUE's inception around 2000 where surgeons managed to decipher the FUE technique. As they gained experience the punch tips became smaller to the point where a 0.8-0.9mm punch tip is considered to be the best balance for minimal scarring and low transection. I personally think that even for a 6 year old FUE hair transplant, the scarring is disappointing.
  10. Hehe I appreciate the compliment, although I prefer the term FUE enthusiast Yes, to me the FUE extraction sites appear larger than normal and larger than they should have been. The sites are very large and sub-standard. Most of them are clearly well over 1mm and that is a very conservative estimate. Punch size is the main culprit here from what I can see. The extraction pattern could have been spread out more also but that is not really related to the individual scar sites. The patient is fortunate in that he has favorable skin to hair color contrast. If he had darker hair, the scarring/missing follicles would be much more apparent.
  11. What is the maximum norwood rating you could see Stallone at? I don't think he is a secret norwood 5-7 but I could see him being a norwood 3 or 4.
  12. Stallone is definitely the most interesting of the trio. Van Damme and Arnie hit the concealers pretty hard in movies but they are noticeably balding from the front. Stallone has had multiple hairlines over the last 20 years. It got really noticeable around The Specialist/Judge Dredd era where he suddenly started brushing his hair back revealing a little boy's hairline which was never there prior...
  13. Hello Shampoo, long time no speak Just saw you got your third procedure done recently. I remember speaking to you about your potential third procedure some time ago. Hope all went well. Do you have a thread about it? Happy growing.
