  1. Any clear photos? Should not be any small circles within the recipient area at all.
  2. Very strange about Liam. He is 43 and I always thought by that age your hair should be fairly stable. His brother has great hair and is older.
  3. Fear not, it took about 4 months for my native hair to completely come back after the initial shockloss. The wait was brutal but it did comeback.
  4. Good decision Bill. I feel that by removing Dr Doganay's recommendation status(for the time being) will actually force the clinic to change there current protocol. I never felt comfortable with just taking the clinic's word for it and hoped that you would not either. This may also force other clinics to review their current methods also. If/when Dr Doganay claims his clinic protocol has changed, I hope that the decision to re-instate his recommendation is based on emperical evidence and not just his word/anecdotal.
  5. Dr Karadeniz's name is not listed on the recommended surgeon's list at the time of writing. So was he posting under the status of a recommended surgeon or not? I'd be more than happy with his official return.
  6. I agree with alot of this. Whilst I do not think a simple jog will revert you back to your non-depressed state, I do feel that your situation(emotional and mental state) can be remedied through various avenues. When an individual is depressed, what they perceive to be an issue the size of Jupiter, is actually the size of Pluto. It is the individual's perspective that is warped and distorted, we think our lives have essentially been ruined. Because WE(forum members) place such an importance on our hair, hair related issues become magnified and exacerbated, but usually only to ourselves. The outcome of your procedure is still in progress. If it does not yield, you still have options available to you. Billions of people have lived with hairloss and have led happy and exuberant lives. The main element here is that most of us on this forum have insecurities about our hair, this makes any problem that is hair related that much greater. If your hair is that much of an issue to where it becomes debilitating and inhibiting, then talking to a professional can address this. Don't give up hope. It is normal to feel down, I have felt that way many times. You can start living again but you have to make the decision to fix your state of mind.
  7. Go for it champ(providing you have done your research, have the donor supply and stable hair)! Do err on the side of caution though!
  8. Don't be so hard on yourself buddy. On the other side of the coin, I regret undergoing strip because of the scar it left me with(the yield was far from the general consensus also). That is not a knock on strip, just showing you that it can go either way.
  9. I'm not taking anything away from this result but it almost looks too good to be true? The work looks ultra-clean and the result looks insane but looks too dense for just under 4,000 grafts for the area covered.
  10. Great post. I like Dr Umar alot but this patient should have been turned away or at the very most had the scar filled in with the previous recipient grafts extracted and re-planted into the scar.... Just my take on this. The patient does seem very happy though.
  11. I essentially agree with this Bill. If the genuine care and treatment of patients(by clinic, staff, techs and surgeon) is not sincere, from within and intrinsic, I don't believe they should be given a second chance after this alleged backslide. Especially if these latest allegations prove to be true(I haven't kept up or looked into it), there is no excuse or reason that would redeem the clinic. That's all I will say for now. I want to say more but will wait until both sides have been heard.
  12. Demirsoy does great work. Very ethical in his hairlines, density placement, future proofing etc.
  13. I personally would not proceed. I feel 5,000 grafts is much too much for you to deplete at this point in time. Even if you never lost another hair ever again I still feel 5,000 would not be needed for a great result. The difference here(as with all/most of us) is that you may lose more hair and 5,000 grafts out of the donor is a significant hit even if you have VERY high density(ie 7,000-8,000 available grafts). You should also factor in the possibility that there is always a small chance the surgery might not yield all that well as this happens with even the best surgeons(of which I thin Erdogan is one of the best FUE surgeons), there is always that chance. It is your call. Proceed wisely.
  14. Sorry to hear about that... What will be your next option?
  15. Very interesting insight Doctor. The first patient's outlook sadly does look grim. I'm curious, is it ever viable to extract the recipient grafts and plant them back into the donor(in the strip scar and/or FUE sites) and just have the patient content with a natural norwood 6 look with the ability to cut the back and sides down to a grade 4/5? I see alot of body hair cases where instead of the approach I mentioned above, the surgeon loads the patient up with body and beard hair and tries to make them a norwood 2 again which to me looks a bit strange. Maybe the patient would prefer to have hair in that case, I'm not in their shoes. What is your take? Also, did not recognize you at the start of the video! Changing styles
