Small story about my hair loss, from my teenage it self the density of my hair was very less and i use have a V shaped front hair line and had a big fore head. Hi All,
I'm here to get some good genuine advise and trust all of you will share this without any hesitation.
Past 5 years I've been struggling with hair loss that i've come to a stage where i'm ready to look into Hair Transplant Options. I've tried Minoxidil and Proscar, but none of these products helped me retain my hair unfortunately.
Am 30 years old from Australia, suffering from Type III Vertex / Norwood III Vertex currently.
My Questions to you all;

does anybody know or have experienced a hair transplant repair? does the Dr. have to shave off the old plugs to add more implants for density? Or can they be added around your exiting hair?
just back from a trip to Dr Feller in New York that has changed my life. After years of progressive hair loss and not being able to do anything about it, I am on the road to recovery after a 3000+ strip procedure.
A big thanks to Spexhair for all the support and advice - I'd recommend anyone considering treatment to start here. If my comments here can help anyone, then I'm happy - it's the best money I've ever spent.
I flew out July 5 to NewYork and had the procedure the following day. Despi

Place: Radha International Institute of Hair Transplant, Vizag, India (Dr. Radha Rani Palakurthi)
After a long wait and research I decided to undergo hair transplant with Dr Radha Rani on 29th June 2012.
My first HT with Dr Radha at RIIHT Vizag has been an unforgetful and and excellent experience for me personally. It has just been a week thereafter, but I am pretty confident that things would go my way, thanks to excellent support by Dr Radha and her team!
As of now
Soo I'm not exactly sure but for about a year I wore a beanie alot and it pulled my hair back and I didn't wash it as much as I should have and I began to start noticing my hairline receding on my temples, I would like to know If it will grow back or what I can do to make it grow back, because I'm only 18 and I would like to not go bald before 40.....
For as long as I can remember and looking back at photos I had a naturally high forehead. I will post pictures, I am currently day 13 post op from hair tranplant. The reason I want to share my story and photos is so that others may know there is hope for something that never seemed quite right. ABout four years ago I began to reasearch hair transplant. It was around this time that I had realized that my maternal side all had the same hair line- I alway assumed i got this from my paternal side a
Today I had a hair transplant with Dr. Charles in Boca Raton. It's day 1 and I'm feeling quite good. I'm 27 years old and had 2,412 grafts done.
Dr. Charles and his staff really made me feel comfortable and at ease with the whole procedure. I'm a nervous, anxious person to begin with so needless to say I was pretty nervous. Looking back, there was not much to be nervous about. I was given a sedative to calm me down a bit. You do feel the anestesia being placed on your forehead and back of your
Male Pattern Baldness
Baldness implies partial or complete lack of hair and can be understood as part of the wider topic of “hair thinning”. The degree and pattern of baldness can vary greatly, but its most common cause is male and female pattern baldness, also known as androgenic alopecia, alopecia androgenetica or alopecia seborrheica – an alternative term used primarily in Europe. www.wikopedia.com

Hello everyone. I'd like to share with you my initial consultation with Dr Parsa Mohebi that I had on Saturday, June 30th. I am a class3 Vertex and I had my first Transplant 18 months ago with Dr Ron Chao. He was not listed as one of the Doctors recomended on this fabulous site. However, he offered a good deal at bargain prices and after meeting wth him I felt comfortable. Now a few things bothered me after the procedure which I shall talk about further down the road. Those reasons are what
Well, I've done all my online research, (thank you hair restoration network), scraped and saved, and I'm now scheduled for a hair transplant with Dr. Bill Reed. I really like how Dr. Reed understood my desires, worked with me to devise a plan, and explained his reasoning. My thought is to have my before pics and to have update pics entered about every 3 months to document progress for myself and for others. Part of our plan is to get as many grafts as are available from my donor area, maybe a
Unfortunately, progress has been rather disappointing. After a spate of growth around the 3-4 month mark, particularly around the temples, there has been little growth at all of note in the past month. If anything, some areas seem to be thinner than a couple of months ago. Growth at the front in the middle has been virtually non-existent.
I realise it's only six months still, but there has been very little sign of any new hair coming through in the past month, compared to 2-3 months ago, so
Ailesbury clinic talks about extracting one hair at a time rather than the entire follicle, Is that possible and if so why are all the top FUE clinics not using this method? Their consultation involves a nurse/sales person who does not take photos of the hair and you do not get to sit down and spend time with the doctor who is going to do your procedure until the actual day you are going ahead with it! Their main doctor is Dr Marmagiolis liised for ISHRS. Anyone know of his work?. The costs are
Hello I am 22 yrs old I am a norwood II almost but not quite a norwood III. Anyways I have been on finasteride 1.25 a day for about 7 months the first 3 months i shed like crazy but read that was common and also good reaction to the drug after 3 months my hair was thicker defenatly a difference and very few hairs fell out like 10 a day that lasted for about a month and a half then suddenly I started shedding a lot again almost as much as in the begining is this normal to have more than 1 cycle
Dear fellow members,
I am new to this wonderful site and wish I had come across it sooner.
I reckon I need 3500 grafts and Im a Norward 5a.
I really need some help from the good people on this site. I have posted comments on my profile as to my objectives but in a nutshell, these are to continue wearing my hair system after the HT until such time the new hairs come properly through. I am able to take it off, wash the hair and ensure it doesnt interfere with the recipient/donor areas. S
