Dr. Glenn Charles in Boca Raton

Today I had a hair transplant with Dr. Charles in Boca Raton. It's day 1 and I'm feeling quite good. I'm 27 years old and had 2,412 grafts done.

Dr. Charles and his staff really made me feel comfortable and at ease with the whole procedure. I'm a nervous, anxious person to begin with so needless to say I was pretty nervous. Looking back, there was not much to be nervous about. I was given a sedative to calm me down a bit. You do feel the anestesia being placed on your forehead and back of your head, but the thought of it is a lot worse then the actual process. It feel likes a few pinches and once that's over the procedure was a breeze. I was able to watch a movie duing the procedure and watch some on-demand TV shows on netflix. I was even provided lunch-which happened to be a great sandwich!

Once I get my pictures from the office, I will post them if anyone wants to track my progress with me.

Here's hoping for some great results!

Congratulations, I had a very similar experience when Dr. Charles did my hair transplant on 7-5-12. I had approximately 1090 grafts done. Dr. Charles was very professional and warm and engaging and his staff were very professional and nice people. I can say that I have had hardly any pain or discomfort during or after the procedure. I enjoyed the movies and had a great lunch as well. I have gone on two bike rides (slow and easy) and practiced tai chi just several days following the transplant. Now at day seven, I will be seeing Dr. Charles in the afternoon to have the stitches removed from the donor site. I put some before and after photos in my profile page. I will put more up in several months once the new hair begins to grow in.
