Hi all,
New to all this, looking to have a precedure in Pakistan next summer, and really wanted to get an idea of the research/recommendations people have all ready discussed regarding an FUT procedure.
I am looking for an established surgeon who knows what they are doing and has the right facilities/hygeine levels.
Also I would like to get an idea of cost, probably looking at somewhere between 3 -4,000 grafts, I am 40 and would say i am a Nordic 5/6.
Any advice as to where to start woul
Two days ago, I arrived in Islamabad, Pakistan, having travelled from the US, and had a hair transplant with Dr Humayun Mohmand. Here, I will write about my experiences with Dr Mohmand's centre, both during and after the procedure. I will also be posting photo updates of my progress over the next 12 months. I found the Hair Restoration Network especially helpful as I made my own decision to get a hair transplant, and I hope my blog can prove similarly useful for others on this website, deciding

Hi All, I didnt think I would ever be able to go through this but thanks to Bill, hiflyer and others I got enough confidence to go throughmy first HT. I finalised upon Dr,Radha based on the various reviews in this forumand frankly wasnt really dissapointed. I got in touch with her over mail and at the end I had sent her 16 mails in all. I landed in Vizag on 14th Dec and met her on the same evening. She said I would be needing around 4000 grafts to get a good coverage. She said my laxity and donor
so it's day 11
was good to finish vit e after 1 week.
now just wanting some hair growth before the xmas holidays !
finished antibiotics after day 10 so just a few days away when I can have a normal shower and have the scabs come off.
I think they shaved or trimmed my donor/ recipient areas shorter than what they cut the rest of my hair to grade 1.
I wish they have done everything the same length so it grows back the same - now you can see the donor area is shorter which looks a bi
So it's the day after surgery. I feel fine and the experience was a lot better than I expected. Everyone at dr rahals office was great. It was a long day and felt tried and a bit out of it at the end I'll post some before and after pics. Now the after care kicks in with cleaning, vitamin e oil etc for the next 7-14 days. Overall I'm happy and now it's just a waiting game I stayed at the guest house and its 5 min away from dr Rahal's office- hily recommended. Clean and convenient. It's a larg
I have researched for almost 3years for hair tranplant ..After consulting multiple doctors i choose Dr radha.
Reasons for choosing Dr radha.
1) She does only one surgery per day
2) she involves in most of the part of surgery.
3) I had a very long conversation at the time of the first consulation.(1 hr). Which cleared all my doubts and gave me confidence.(which was not possible with Dr madhu , My consulation with madhu was just for 2-3 minutes and was very hurry hurry)

Good afternoon friends,
Hope everyone is doing good!!
I was hoping I can get some advice. I am probably sitting somewhere close to a NW3. I am 25 years old and have had a progressively receding hairline since I was about 18 years old.
I saw Dr. Nakatsui here in Edmonton when I was 21 and he told me to come back in a couple years so he can re-assess my hair loss but I haven't been back since.
Please see my hair loss website for pictures. I am very interested in your opinions of my situ
Hi all,
I wanted to share my experiences about my FUE hair transplant that I got around about a year ago with a help of getfue.com.
I live in Scandinavia where hair transplants are extremely expensive, so I did my research on the internet and came across getfue.com. They offered FUE hair transplants in JCI cerfitified hospital in Antalya, Turkey for really affordable prices. At first, I did not believe that a high quality 7-hour operation in a private hospital could cost only around 2500 E
I am 27 now, losing hair since i early 20s, last resort is FUE or shaving it all off.
I dont like FUT because of the scar, and i dont want to be on any long term post op medication.
I hace tried Laser and lotions and other things with no success.
Is it worth it going through FUE and where should i do it that is not too expensive but still a decent good job.
I live in Melbourne but i am thinking of doing it in Europe, Asia, India or maybe Canada, not sure yet as it is overpriced in Austra

i am getting an FUE procedure with dr. Rahal on a couple days of 1600 graphs. i know the normal plan of using vitamin E and keeping the graphs moist at all time but my question is has anybody ever had a great experience with using emu oil or any other oils to help the recipient areas? Any other good things to do or ideas at all that really speed the healing process in both the recipient and donor area? any stories of great experiences with these moethods will help!
Hi,
I'm a patient suffering from hair loss and now I'm considering to go for a HT. Presently I'm in Bangalore and is really confused to find a good doctor for this. It seems the members of this forum are having mixed responses towards a single doctor. So I need help to figure what is the best option I've. Let me share my story first.
I'm suffering from Hair loss for last four-five years. It was mainly due to change of water because of change of places. Also heridity might be another good
I am type 5 male pattern bald. having undergone a strip procedure some 7 years bacj, I chose to get filling done in my frontal forelock. I love the FUE technique and got it as the method of choice from a friend's clinic. he is a famous hair transplant surgeon based in the USA and he gave me 1500 grafts in a single day session. It was a breeze. No pain and no fatigue. I slept throughout the procedure- perhaps it was the jet lag catching up! In contrast to the FUT I had much earlier, the recovery
Hi everyone- Here are current photos of me 8 days after my procedure at Dr. Rahal's clinic! I tried to take photos of my new hairline (all scabbed right now unfortunately) as well as my scar at this stage of the game. I get my sutures out this Friday and will be able to shower normally and probably get rid of most of the scabs that seem to be sticking around at the moment. Will continue to update my blog as time goes on.
Hello Everyone! Mike here......long-time observer, new time poster on these forums.....and a brand new member of the "Hair Transplant Patient" Club. I'm excited to be here, and to hopefully make some new friends and get to know most of you better over the next year of my growth journey. As I am sitting here writing this review today, I am currently 6 days post-op with my 4737 graft FUT transplant with Dr. H. Rahal. I had a total of 677 single, 2729 double, 1296 triples and 35 quad grafts (a t
Well just coming up on the 3 month mark. Really wasn't expecting any significant growth at this point but I still wanted to keep this updated. Yes, the anxiety is getting me at this point. I feel some slight irritation in the recipient areas. I'm curious if that's a good sign. Also, shock loss has made something of a negative impact (check the attached photos and compare to 1 month). I guess 3 months is the bad time. Hopefully I'll have some good news when I check in next time.
Dear Bill,
Good to see you. As suggested by you, since last 20 days, I have a new professional photographer, as you know Stem Cell results normally takes 3-6 months to show results, I will definitely post after pictures then. At present, I will be posting existing pics. Till then, members can talk or email my patients to know about their experiences. I welcome thorough scrutiny by your members and doctors in this forum, so that I can try to provide answers to their informed ques
