does anybody know or have experienced a hair transplant repair? does the Dr. have to shave off the old plugs to add more implants for density? Or can they be added around your exiting hair?

Eagle,

 

It depends. If the older implants are viable, the physician can either extract, dissect and re-implant them, or possibly implant follicular units around the older grafts. It will really take a consultation to be sure.
