I am 37 years male, started losing hair in my mid 20's and moved on to using clip on hair system when I became 29, without giving too much of a chance for others to quickly notice a change in me. I had bit of hair at the front but the rest to the crown really thinned out and lost. It was just me (and ofcourse the wife) knowing that I am wearing a system.. until some one asked me about it one day, and that was a real shocking moment in my life. About 3 years i was on the clip-on system. From

Hi all,
I had an FUT hair transplant three days ago to lower my high hairline.
I have followed all pre-op instructions and as today is day three, I have washed my full head with baby shampoo. There is quite a lot of dried blood on the recipient area so I have washed this very lightly with my fingertips and dabbed the area with a thin cotton cloth. About 40% of the dried blood has came off but the rest still remains. My post op instructions tell me to wash the area daily, so will the blood ev

Can grafts be displaced or dislodged, although they look normal and well stuck in the scalp?
I had hair transplant with a combination of HUT and HUE techniques 3 days back. I had a tight dressing on my head after surgery, which was removed 24 hours after surgery. Everything was normal except that I had banged my head sitting in car a few times while going home and jerked off after 6 hours of surgery unaware of the consequences.
The hairs look well stuck in the scalp but is it possible that t

Hi everyone,
I wanted to update you on my FUE experience. I have now moved past my 78th day after my FUE with Dr Feriduni and everything has been fantastic. I will add the next set of picture at 6 months, and as I’m not on the forum very much so I have tried to be quite detailed to answer any questions.
A few things I would say for anyone considering FUE and Dr Feriduni:
The premises and staff are fantastic
Dr Feriduni is a wonderful person, highly skilled, and has a delightful manner/st
Well, at the four month mark here, for sure it's easy to see changes and growth. I'm a little bit confused as to why the right side is denser than the left one?! I'm also hoping that more hairs will be sprouting still and what I see isn't all that I'm going to get. It seems strange to me that there could be a significant amount of hairs that haven't shown their little faces yet though after 4 months -- then again I was told it can take up to 6 months to see growth. In this case that is and isn't
I'm thinking to do hair transplant to dr Aslan in Turkey. Does anyone can tell me something about them some experience or opinion before I go. The price is good but I need some advice before take any action. Thanks to anyone.
Hi all,
After much consideration, i have now reached the decision to go through with a hair restoration procedure. I have been on numerous forums and have taken advice to research your potential physician well, get before and after photos and read patient testimonials. I have done this at length and agree totally that nobody should take a procedure like this lightly. I am, at this stage, on information overload with firstly the amount of clinics, the advertisements, the promises etc. Is it jus
Hi I live in Delhi and am planning to get a strip surgery by Dr A's Clinic. Can anyone share their experiences? They appaer to be among the most popular and the oldest practitioners in India. But a good marketting team can also enable them to become one. So far I have read atleast 3-4 good reviews about them and one bad one.
One of the factors that has increased their credibility is the fact that their team dont appear to be desperate to convince a patient. I went their around 7 Years ago and
So I liked dr deip as a guy, and I am healing quickly at day 10. But we will see results or no results. I will be honest. I am going to post pictures but also say how I "think" it's going as well. Often I look at others pictures and I don't know if it is good or bad results. Only the patient "knows", I firmly believe this. Pictures can be deceiving.
8/15/13- Dr. John Diep 1740 FUE- all dense pack in the front.
This is where I'm at as of August 14th, 2013. That's about 4.5 months in. Pretty much the same as last time (it might look a little thinner but that's because my hair is wet and shorter) which is to be expected. I'll have another update around the six month mark. I've been told I shouldn't expect to be able to see a huge difference around then and will notice it more around 8-10 months, but maybe I'll get lucky and it'll be apparent earlier!

While researching there is the least amount of information for women when it comes to hair transplant, and an even smaller number of African American women. My hair loss isn't hereditary it's due to wearing weaves and braiding which is called traction alopecia. I lacked a lot of confidence when it came to my hair, i would only wear side bangs or bangs, and I hated it, i tried massaging my edges, using certain oils, taking biotin pills, and the process was just too slow. I want to show and help p
Hey guys, I just wanted to update you with my progress. The results are in, though I'm not at all surprised. I'm happy, in fact, delighted with my results. It's been a long year after my surgery and finally I can post more pictures. Although, progress was slow even though at 5 months post op I could see my hairline fill in, the crown did take awhile. Around the tenth month I did notice the crown filling in slightly and as of today I can honestly say that it looks a whole lot better than it d
Slowly but surely I am seeing results. I think I'm a bit ahead of schedule actually. I was told it would take 3-5 months to START seeing hair growth, but I definately have hair in places I didn't ever have it before. This kind of confuses me, but hey, I'll take it! You can definitely tell if you look at my pre-HT pics and compare them to the current ones. The receeding part and and the opposite side of my "tuft" are sprouting. I feel that the "tuft" isn't as dense as it was before though, which
I went for Hair Transplant with Dr.Glenn Charles(Boca Raton) on 7/24. It has been wonderful experience so far.
To be honest, I did my part of research before consulting him. And after reading blogs and consulting with few other HT surgeons I felt comfortable going ahead with Dr.Charles. Few things that I would like to share from my experience that :
1. During my first consultation, Dr.Charles didn't up-sell himself and honestly did the assessment. He didn't pushed me to come back to him, w
Hey guys, I've been losing hair for around 2 years now and have a receding hairline plus thinning on the top.
Ive been using finpecia and minoxidil for around 2 years now and am considering a hair transplant session (2500 grafts) with Dr Pathuri Madhu from Hyderabad, India.
I was wondering if the hairline will be lowered at all, and if I choose to do that if it will look unnatural.
Any opinions or reviewes are welcome
Thank you
