So I liked dr deip as a guy, and I am healing quickly at day 10. But we will see results or no results. I will be honest. I am going to post pictures but also say how I "think" it's going as well. Often I look at others pictures and I don't know if it is good or bad results. Only the patient "knows", I firmly believe this. Pictures can be deceiving. 8/15/13- Dr. John Diep 1740 FUE- all dense pack in the front.

Thanks! I gotta get my girlfriend to email me photos from her iphone. I like the fact that he charges low for A-cell treatment. I have a feeling that may help big time in graft health and adherement. Ya his website says 'nice' things about himself, but isn't that expected?? Thats why we have these forums. Pics coming, I swear!!

Has anyone heard of people getting Tattoos for FUT scars? I want to wear my hair short and I have a long scar. Seems like it would be a good solution; painting little laternating no pattern and variable sized hairs in the scar to match the hair color as well.. Am I just late to the party on this? THANKS!

Okay, here is my background, and please take helpful bits if you can gleen here. I am going to unload and not hold back punches- Not saying I was a very smart patient but here has been my expeirnce: 2000- age 31 Bosley 600 grafts at $6 each FUT-- why?? I had a nice head of hair back then.. now that I look back, why did I do it? Not even sure where the hair went.. 2011- NEW LOOK MD (which I dont see many people talking about here). Dr. Garbutt. Very slick sales lady LAURA-- went down to San DIego, thought I was doing 2000, ended up (using their proprietary measuring tool), buying 3450 FUT grafts.. 13 hours, ladies telling me that "these things just won't stay in" while im in the chair. Dr. Garbutt harvard grad, said 8-15 words to me, came in, sliced, punched and out. Their pitch? CHEAP.. $3.50 a graft.. SCAR WAS PAINFULL!!!!!!!! Still ithces and I am numb... All in all propbably got about 1500 grafts result out of the trip.. wasted tissue and donor hair. 2013 (9 days ago), finally paid big bucks, and went to Dr. Diep in Los Gatos. $7.33 for 1700 grafts (FUE). Nice guy, caring.. seems talented. Healing has been way better and no grafts popped out.. really dense packing in front. Seems higher quality. He is HTN recomended. Will post pics soon.. One item- i am not a wussy, football, wrestling etc.. but people dont do enough to talk about how bad scalp pain really is. Not sure why.
