<!--[if gte mso 9]>       <![endif]--> Hi guys I am looking to get Hair Transplant and came across this website. Is anybody here who had experience of this clinic? I emailed few clinics here in UK and they asking £6500-£10000, which is a lot of me to pay. There are other clinics in Turkey too, can anyone recommend any other clinic. Please only recommend if you had personal experience with that clinic. Looking forward to hear from you guys. Many Thanks Zee <!--[if

So is caffeine good or bad after hair transplant?

I had hair transplant on monday, everything went perfect, I was very impressed with the procedure, but since I looked on the internet I get VERY confused about coffee consuption and caffeine, my surgeon did not say that I should avoid drinking coffee, in fact I had coffee during the procedure, but since I look into it, there are many who strongly advise not to consume it for many days but then there are studies that show caffeine is good for you - like increased hair growth and defense agains DH

I love it when a plan comes together

My first post to this Hair Restoration Network was here back on March 16th, 2013: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/showthread.php?p=2339923   After the replies there I decided to schedule apointments with Hasson & Wong (VAN) and also Gabel (PDX) who both came highly recommended. I contacted Mike Ferko who is the liason for H&W here in Seattle, WA and he told me to meet him at the downtown office on Saturday the 23rd. This was a special trip for him and outside the normal w

FUT Hair Transplant by Dr Radha

Hello friends, I am posting this blog on behalf of my brother who underwent an Hair Transplant from Dr Radha which he described as a great experience. What i liked about her most is the individual attention that she provides and is really reachable at all His hair transplant belonged to Norwood VI and hence Dr Radha suggested around 5000 grafts of which she was able to 4000 in the first session covering 85 percent of the area and has planned for another 1000 grafts after 10 months. 3months after transplant(1600)

Hi, everyone. I am new to this forum. I'm a 27 years old guy, who suffers through hair loss like most men. I have curly, nappy hair. Mixed of African and white. I went to the "Hair Club for Men" in NYC and met with a surgeon. So, on Jan 28th, 2013 I have a 1600 graft done in the frontal part of my head. It's April 21st, nearly 3 months after, and I hardly see any growth. Plus, I still see those white flakey crust and my follice hairs are attached to those white flakey crust. I am extremely nervo

Rashid Rashid

So, I am heading to Dr. Rashid's office on Tuesday for consultation and will start the procedure as earliest time. I will post before and after pics as soon as i can take some pics. I am excited. I have not heard anything negative about Dr. Rashid's procedures, alas not too many positive either. I have a friend who has had good results with him; although, his hair has different texture and style than I. My hair is thick and coarse, where as, he has soft and straigh hair. Can you please

Hair transplant Journal - Post Op 1 Month 1 day

Post Op 1 Month 1 day – 8th April Just hit the 1 month mark, ive been meaning to put the pictures up but been soo busy at work. Most of the post shedding has stopped and i think i have lost all the transplanted hair. There are some few remain soldiers holding on and growing. The extent of hair loss looks worse in pictures than it is in real life. In terms of pain, its all gone. Although i have significant itching in the donor area, only when i lay down or rest my head. As you can see my

Hair Adventure 2013

After valiantly battling a slowly thinning hairline for a few years, I had exhausted all tricks known to me. So I finally decided to hire some help, and visited the respective Restoration Guilds. I decided on hiring Dr. Feller, and had his and his staff's aid in battle on March 13th, 2013.

Tracking My Second FUT Procedure: Update #01

About two and a half weeks ago, I received my second FUT procedure from Dr. Parsa Mohebi. I had my first about a year and a half ago, just shy of 2100 grafts, to fill out my hairline. I went back to increase density with about another 1500 grafts. Everything is healing nicely, and I decided to track and share my progress here. This is just the beginning, so I thought I'd start by showing my hairline back before any procedures (~1.5 years) and where I'm at as of a couple days ago (a little ov

My Crown Restoration Journal

I had a very thick head of hair until my late 30's and then I noticed thinning, but only in the crown area. I tried Rogaine, and later, some generic form of Propecia, but I was not consistent with the daily regiment and the thinning continued. Last year I finally decided to have an HT of 1500 grafts using the strip method. I was very surprised when they recommended only 1500 grafts and now, 6 1/2 months later, I've definitely seen some growth, but well short of the desired coverage. I'm doubtf

My Hair Restoration Journey

I Started losing my hair nearly 15 years before. In the Initial years the rate of Hair loss is not that much significant. But as the years pass by and got married 7 years ago, the rate of loss of hair has increased to noticeable extent. I always thought that I will not be having worser baldness than my father and I am okay with my father's baldness. But nature has different plan. My frontal hair loss started crossing my father's hairline and increased my worriness for my look. In addition to gen

My experience with hair loss

Hi Members, I wish I had found this site years ago as I had so many problems and worries over my hair loss and Its rather a relief to read through other members posts and read their experiences. I had a FUE transplant just after Christmas and so glad I did it (have always been slightly terrified of surgery to be honest and the strip Extraction always looked rather brutal). So far it looks good and Im slowly regaining my confidence, I felt rather unatrractive when I started loosing my hair especi

Ok, Hair We Go.

Right, where to start? I'm 46 years old living in the UK. I've been losing hair for the last 6-8 years taking mixoxidil only when I discovered Kirkland 5%, being the cheapsakte that I am. I managed to blag a background role in the recent Bond Movie Skyfall, only to see the visible bald patch on the top of my head when I saw the Bluray! After taking the plunge to see a hair consultant at Private Clinic UK, I was advised to try Propecia. The consultant said my hair hairloss didn't appear t

Hair transplant Journal - Post Op 15th day

Post Op 15 th day – 25th March   First day at work since hair transplant. I had taken two weeks off and was hoping no one figured out that i had a hair transplant. Work colleagues did like the new buzz hair cut and complimented me on it. Its good think i slowly told everyone a month or two that i was thinking of shaving my head.   In terms of Post op the recipient area all the scabs are off. There isn't any numbness but at the sametime my recipient area feels less sensitive. But i do fe

Hair transplant Journal - Post Op 13th day

Post Op 13th day – 22nd March Virtually all scabs have fallen from the top of the as well as the donor area. Back of the head seems to be recovering and beginning to feel some sensation. However the sides does feel little tender in the donor area. Partly due to number of grafts that were extract. The recipient site I have no sensation on top of the head, probably due to the thousands of small incisions being made and the minor nerve damage. This will eventually will go a way as the donor are

Hair transplant Journal - Post Op 11th day

Post Op 11th day – 20th March Hair is growing faster and thicker. You can really see the extent of how bald you are when you have short hair. Normally I’ve had longer hair which I then top up with Nanogen. Well those days will go now, can’t wait when the new hair sprouts out. In terms of todays pictures nothing additional. Apart from I’ve added Rogaine foam in the morning and night to my regimen. I made sure I waited good 10 days or so before I started this. There isn’t much literature

Hair transplant Journal - Post Op 9th day

Post Op 9th day – 18th March First time after the post op I feel that I am really healing well. Usual routine is to take my vitamins, put the last of the cream that the clinic provided. In terms of the donor area the scabs are falling off on a daily basis. Hair is start to grow and cover the donor area. Skin looks still pinkish and it seems that I have eczema. I’ve been putting bio oil on this and it does help with the itchiness. I have in the evening put aloe vera on as well as sometimes the

Hair transplant Journal - Post Op 7th day

Post Op 7th day – 16th March I have no pain either at the recipient and donor area. On this day I have started to take finasteride and some hair nail vitamins. I’m hoping it will reduce the post shedding or assist in any shock loss of hair that might have occurred. Its too early to tell whether I have achieved shock loss but rather be safe than sorry. The hardest thing I have found is that I normally go to the gym 5 times a week. I’m a person who normally doesn’t sit around, unfortunately I

Hair transplant Journal - Post Op 5th day

Post Op 5th day – 14th March Sleep has gone back to normal routine pattern now. But sleep at 45 degree angle does take its toll. Head feels like a paper weight when resting against the pillow. I have started get some feeling back in the recipient area. Normal routine is to take the rest of the medication, have the cream on my head for 45 minutes. Then gently wash this. I then normally take the photos. In terms of the Post Op - feeling with regards to recipient and donor area as follows

Hair transplant Journal - Post Op 4th day

Post Op 4th day – 13th March Slept for several hours today. I think sleeping in my own bed with the right temperature was what I needed. It was driving me crazy due to lack of sleep. I don’t think the main cause of this was due to the procedure but the lack of air con at the hotel. Sleeping at my own place I was completely knocked out for 8 hours. I didn’t require any pain killers, but today’s routine was take the medication as prescribed in post op procedure. Have my breakfast and I de
