Hair transplant Journal - Post Op 3 day

Day 3 Post - OP: 12 th March   Slept slightly better today. i had over 6 hours sleep! Again the heating in the hotel room did not help with air cons not working. However today was the day to head back to UK and arrive at Manchester.   Routine was have breakfast with managing director and his daughter. They've been with us from day 1 and met up with us every morning. I cannot thank them so much with the care and hospitality they provided me and wifey. I believe we made some good friends

Hair transplant Journal - Post Op 2 day

Post Op 2nd day - 11th March Again only slept for two hours...Not because of the procedure because of the heat in the hotel room. I just spent most of the night browsing and reading on my Ipad and watching some Dexter series. Unfortunately all the air con in the hotel wasn't working and this didn't help. I couldn't open the windows in the hotel as it outside the main road and has significant noise traffic. Also when you do lie down it feels like a metal plate attached to your head or lying

Hair transplant Journal (Istanbul) 4000 grafts

I have recently had hair transplant in Instanbul (8th March 2013). I live in the UK and it was big decision for me to go overseas and get this done. First of all a little about me, i've just turned 32 and currently work for the NHS. I've been losing my hair since i was 18 onwards. Over the years i've had always had an issue with my hair by concealing it in various ways, i started to use Regaine and then Nanogen to hide thinning areas. However this has given me comfort but it still is on my mi

9.5 Months and no growth.

Hi, I just had my 2nd HT 9.5 months ago in June 2012. My first HT of 1500 was a success but I wanted more density to my hair line and the first four inches of my scalp. In June of 2012 I went in for my second HT and had 1275 graphs placed. IT has been close to 10 months and I have not seen any growth and believe that I have lost even more hair since the operation. I have read articles and my doctor says I’m a slow grower and to give it 2 to 4 more months, but I have also read that if I have

Can Rogaine® Cause Sexual Side Effects?

With the Web buzzing over the long-term sexual side effects of Finasteride (Propecia), hair loss patients now demand to know the long-term side effects of other hair loss drugs. Hair loss professionals and dermatologists are quick to remind patients of the following: The study that showed evidence of long term side effects of Propecia was significantly flawed. Conclusions were drawn from a very small sample size of participants. Moreover, no followup studies have been conducted to co

5 Characteristics of a Natural Hairline

Hair restoration treatments have come a long way since the "pluggy" procedures of the late '80s. Still, many patients are hesitant to take the plunge, often worrying that a hair transplant procedure will produce an outcome that is unnatural in appearance. The thought alone can make one feel anxious, and receiving a bad hair transplant may do more to harm one's self esteem, confidence, and self image than the original balding scalp. It is estimated that over 2/3rds of adult males will experien

Looking for advice

Hi folks, Ive been reading this forum so some time and have been moved by the stories and support I can see this forum and others like it give to people suffering through the trauma of losing your locks. Heres my story... Started losing hair at 17. As the balding got progressively worse my self esteem deteriorated with it. At 27 I decided to do something about it and went to Ashley and Martin. Had little to no results from their extremely expensive treatments. Was told about hair transplan

I am very concerned about the scar condsidering I am only 24 and not sure how I plan to wear my hair in the future. I have tried rogaine

Hair transplantation using body hair.

I am from Canada... I was in India in 2012 and had 2000 BHT (abdomen, chest and few armpit). It was performed by Dr. Mahadevia's clinic. I will post my pictures later as I have to yet take and load it on the computer. It seems less than 2000 or may be it is 2000... I want the expert to tell me...what they think of the procedures... i was planning on doing a couple more each year to get some decent result. i paid 100rs per graft with 10% tax... if it is 2000 grafts then it is indeed worth, if n

FUE Hair Transplantation

For the last several years my clinic has been performing FUE procedures only. My reason for performing FUE is two-fold: I wanted to prevent linear donor scars on patients, and I desired the theoretical advantage of the FUE donor bank. A common misconception of FUE is the that smaller cases (compared to FUT) can only be performed. With FUE the entire permanant donor bank is at my disposal. I can extract from 0% to 100% of the hair follicles. There can be no greater flexibility than this.

The Hospital Group and Doctor Pathomvanich

My story began about 5 years ago when i moderately began to recede from my hair line. As i worked as an apprentice in Ireland i began searching the internet for the best deals going for hair restoration between Ireland and England. Here i came across The Hospital Group. I arranged to meet there ''consultant'' in Belfast, north of the border and when i arrived i kopped straight away that this man was nothing more than a middle man or salesman. But i was 26 at the time and after been promised the

This is my story that I also published in Robs Blog: Ps. do not take my timeshedule below in detail. Of course, it took a lot of longer time doing the grafts. I have stage VI baldness and recently i have taken the long pending and bold decision to come to Hyderabad for Hair Transplant.   In my case Dr Madhu had innitially seen my digital snaps through e-mail and recommened 3000 grafts for HT but when i met him in person he honestly said that the results would not be satisfactory due to lesser donor hair ; wider bald area and to my surprise he very honestly though refund the deposit money for hair transplant.Further i have good quality and quantity

So I wanted to give a brief update on my procedure. Its been about 7 weeks since I went to see Dr. Charles for my 1st ever FUT. Everything seems to be coming along as it should. I am slowly getting feeling back in my scalp and I can see some small hairs coming in. I assume that this is the hair that was shock lost. Does anyone know how long it normally takes for shocked hair to grow back? I am now off the Graftcyte shampoo and condition and am alternating with Regenpure and Revita. As m

FUE (3000+) with Dr. Tejinder Bhatti 2/3/13

Hi all, Below I will detail my experience with Dr. Tejinder Bhatti of "Darling Buds", Chandigarh India over the next 18 months. I began chatting with Dr. Bhatti about 4 weeks ago after having short listed him via the feedback provided on this network. Dr. Bhatti is a massive advocate of FUE over FUT and this made sense to me. After providing the photos below, Dr. Bhatti has estimated some 3500 grafts. At all times, Dr. Bhatti has responsed quickly with detail and seems very profession

My Hair Transplant Experience

Don’t wait any longer. All of your fears, concerns, and anxiety can be cured by visiting Dr. Charles. I am a 53 year young male that within the past year started my research to find a solution to keep my hair from falling out. As you will see by reading on, I did check on my options locally in the Orlando area, but then I chose the procedure being offered by Dr. Glenn Charles, more than 3 hours from my home in Boca Raton, Florida. Well worth the trip!!! By October 2012 I realized that th

Dr. Panine and Stuart are the best!

Just had my hair transplant 2/21/13 with Dr. Panine. I had 3500 graft, surgery lasted fr 10:00 am to 11:00 pm and the whole time Dr.Panine was there doing the incisions and grafting. Dr. panine was so gentle with his procedure that you feel like you were in a spa when you are having the procedure. And I have to give a shout out to Stuart. Upon consultation I met with Stuart and he explained to me the procedure and what the cost was. There was never any pressure to sell the procedure, they live i
