Hi
I have just joined today. And hopefully the members on this forum will keep me right.
I have been losing my hair gradually over the last ten years. Receding fron the the front and the sides. My crown area as yet has not been affected.. I would say I am somewhere between a scale 2 and a scale 2a. I am 49 years of age.
I was supposed to get a hair transplant at the West Regent Strreet clinic in Glasgow last December but it was cancelled . It was for a FUT ( Think thats right) . I w
And finally I scheduled the date for my transplant with Dr Raymond Konior . July 17th would be 'the day' I will be having a scar on my head which hopefully would be a secret between me and Dr Konior .
I did start thinning my hair when I was about 20 and I remember my friends telling me not to apply gel as they could see my scalp from the top. It was not until I was 24ish when I noticed my front receding and only then did i really start worrying/noticing. I never bothered to look how I might
So...in anticipation of my upcoming procedure, I went ahead and clipped it down. You can see the thinning very well here. It's under a harsh flash. If It were longer, I know how to fake it with Toppik and combing, but I really think it's best to just leave it alone and have the HT, then let keep it clipped until some regrowth is happening.
ok...so these are not great photos, . i was off fin for a few months last year and lost those gains. i'd not yet regained anything as of these photos. we are focusing on the crown in my first HT. i'm comfortable with the density at the hairline and the hairline itself. i never had a low forehead, even as a child. since these photos, i took the hair down to a 2 guard so i'd be used to having very short hair for a while. i have a better shot of the crown on my phone i can post later.
So, I'm a 39yo male , a norwood 3v. I've been on fin since age 23 except for a few months last year (long story). I had some shock when I restarted. Anyway, all my uncles on both sides are bald and my dad had a hair restoration around my age. So I knew this was coming and I wanted to have it done so I could hope to have a good result by my birthday next Feb. I looked around and decided I like Dr Vories after meeting him. I was able to ask him a boatload of questions and he was adept at
Hello everyone
I am new here, on this website; I needed to have hair transplant surgery so badly and was searching the net to get info about a good clinic/doctor and came across with this website and some reviews about Maral Hair Klinik in Istanbul Turkey and followed the forums for a while and then decided to go for it. I am glad that I did and I've just received 2750 graft surgery as I had had 1 very old plug like technology!! transplant and 2 FUTs previously which a kind of narrowed the don
This is a warning to people who are considering a transplant from mr Prabdeep Sohi of Reviva Hair Clinic as this is what he did to my hairline after completely ignoring my opinions.
Mr sohi decided to create a new hairline which was far too high and now im left with a silly hairline which needs doing again (obviously not by Dr Prabdeep Sohi) and now he refuses to speak with me and says its a great hairline,i need say anything else as you can see from the pictures that it is a complete mess, s
This blog is a thank you to the admins and regular posters who through this and various other forums have allowed me research and educate myself regarding everything HT.
I spent at least 2 years evolving my understanding and enhancing my knowledge before finally feeling pretty confident to make the decision and book the HT. This blog will be pitched at entry level - the level I was 2 years ago.
I am currently 4 days post op.
Pictures are on my profile.

My hair-transplant experience with Dr Bhatti
Consultation
I started losing hair at the age of 25/26 and it got really worse by the time I was 35. Needless to mention that I started losing a little bit of confidence especially when someone could easily pass me for 40 yrs old….It was terrible….
After sitting on the edge and reviewing many hair transplant surgeon reviews, I finally gathered the courage and decided to take a consultation appointment with Dr Bhatti.
Why I cho
Hi everyone,
Well this HT has been many years in the planning. I have done my homework and decided that through online forum's and pictures that Dr Rahal would be my surgeon of choice. I have been losing my hair since the age of 23/24 and now at 39 think with the procedure being done on regular basis and the levels of results being so good that now or never.
Over the years I have felt my self-esteem fall and from being a happy go lucky person I am now very self concious about my hair. I h
One day shy of 4 weeks. As I mentioned earlier, I an m 64 and wanted an age appropriate hairline and based on result so far , I think I will be happy. I still have blond hair along with the grey and light brown so it should blend well and look clean. I can *imagine* what it will look like in 4-6-9 months based on my pics.
The next couple of weeks went pretty much as expected. The crusts/scab all came off and my head started to return to normal color - still a bit tender but overall healing nicely. Wife took out my stiches and the scar is clean and clear - in fact there was no bleeding from day one there. It looks like shedding has started week 4.
Well it's been about a month since I deleted facebook, set myself some goals and made an effort to reinvent myself. It feel like a million years!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, I've been locked away in my flat with zero contact besides familyat the weekend. No booze, strict diet and ust myself to talk to is hard going but I am allowing myself a night in the pub in my home town in the country at the end of the month so looking forward to that. Not that I know anyone from there any more but a social s
Not much to report guys, a little more of my native hair growing back. The redness is still there, although its fading. Let me know your thoughts.
Cheers.
Cant say too much about the next few ensuing days - I was given anti-swelling and antibiotic meds and I had NO swelling througth the entire week, period. Did the cup wash for the first 5 or 6 days. All scabs gone by day 9 or 10. Guess I'm a model patient. No pain, no swelling, spent all my days reading about others experiences.
Top view and front view.
..so to continue, I had a 2551 FUT procedure with Dr. Chao in Redondo Beach. Others who have been report of first class treatment and others have had discouraging words about his flat rate pricing strategy - YMMV. Coming from the Contracting world, Flat Rate pricing is not a bad thing if you can conduct your business as such, can control overhead and expenditures, and know how to read a simple P&L statement.
I had an absolute great experience adn I will tell you that Dr. Chao is a
Hello all,
My story will be not so different that the others I have read here.
Let's cut to the chase and just say that after almost 30 years of slow hair loss, I finally took the plunge and had a FUT a little over three (3) weeks ago.
This is me a month ago.
Hey all,
So glad to finally join the forum.
Actually i have been suffering from hair loss from the top of my head from past 2 years and i think i have lost atleast half of my hair from the top and my age is just 22 now.
I dont know if i have this genetically or not because although my dad is nearly 70% bald from the top now but at the age of 50 i think he is pretty good, also because he told me that he didnt had hairloss back then when he was in his twenties. Although my grandfather did go
