11 weeks

I'm not going to be one of those guys who comes here, posts about the 'great HT', posts a few pics, then disappear after a couple of months. When I start a book , I finish it. Anyway, 11 weeks in, no big whoop - posted earlier that my barber sees the garden growing. Thought I'd compare a Pre-OP photo with the 11 Week shot highlighting a little discoloration mark on my head that has been a marker of sorts for the progress.

2 hair transpants later and still hairloss is ruining my life.

Being going bald since my early 20's. In April 2012 I had my first HT procedure. Had 3050 grafts placed in the hairline and middle part of my head, with a small amount placed in my crown. The result was poor with the left side seeing better results than the right. The company I went with agreed to put in an additional 1000 grafts for free after examining the results. I payed for an additional 1200 grafts to be put in during the same procedure. I am 3 weeks away from reaching the 12 month s

FUT With Dr, Konior April 29 3550 grafts

Hey Fellas I underwent 3550 FUT grafts with Dr, Konior on Tuesday the 29th.I woudld really like to add something new to the conversation, and how wonderful and amazing he and is staff is, however it would seem to be redunant, as everybody raves about about him, ans everybody is correct. They are in fact a well oiled machine, and I would be hard pressed to find anybody else on planet Earth, that comes to his expertise, professionalism, and realistic expectations, I arrived at his office at

Now booked with BHR

Well that's it, I'm booked in for my surgery with BHR on the 18th and 19th of June! I'm still quite surprised at how soon it is I thought the clinic would have been booked up for months in advance but I'm very happy about it becasue the sooner the better in my view and if all goes to plan and I get a good yeild and good growth then I could possibly.....and I emphasise the word possibly, have a decent enough growth by Christmas to maybe venture out again. A big thanks to Stephen the UK BHR

Left hotel about 6.30 to make sure I'am at clinic for 7.30am. Get there and do the paperwork. Dr Rahal draws on his plan and we agree that ok. So having get the injections (a little discomfort but def no pain at all). The worse part is hearing the strip being cut out which will remain with me f

2014-04-25 Twelve Months After

This is the one year mark. I don't see a lot of difference from the past few months, but maybe you do? Before I say anything further, I want to say that for the most part I am happy with the results. I'm certainly in a better place folically than I was a year ago and the fear of going bald is no longer something I stress about. Perhaps I should just be grateful that this proceedure even exists and more importantly that I was lucky enough to have gotten a great HT that looks natural. If HT wasn

2014-03-26 Eleven Months After

Same ol' same old... not seeing much new changes, but maybe it's sublte and after 11 months I'm just having a hard time seeing the forrest through the trees (or insert some other cliche' here). Oddly my head seems to itch quite a bit these days. I'm hopeful that is still hairs poking through, but it's almost impossible to really tell at this stage. NEXT BLOG PREVIOUS BLOG

My consultation

Well it's Thursday Morning, I'm still half aslep from my day to belgium yesterday but what an all round experience it was, I thoroughly enjoyed it! First off the flying! The fligt over was an absolute breeze. I'm so surprised at myself to the pojnt of stunned as I've never been like that on a plane before. I was even gawking out the window for most of it when previously that would have made me bring up my breakfast! To be fair the 5 diazapam I swallowed may have had something to do with it an

Month 3

After the funeral experience, I made an appt. to follow up with my surgeon just to check on things. I had experienced no shockloss whatsoever after my 2006 procedure so I wanted to make sure nothig was amiss. My scalp looked fine and everything healed up well. I had been on finasteride since the prior September and minoxidil maybe a month or two later. I kept taking the finasteride straight through, and got back on minox maybe a week after surgery. It was just determined to be a classic cas

2238 Graft FUT on Jan 10, 2014 - Months 1 and 2

I'm a little late to the game as I'm 3.5 months post-op as I start this blog, but pre and shortly post-op I was only minimally aware of this site. As such, this blog will begin with my three-month photos. Unfortunately i didn't take any pre-op pics as I had no inkling I'd ever be doing something like this. So I'll start with a little background. I had two small HT's over the mid-to-late 90's with Nu-Hart when I was in my early twenties (maybe 250 and 400 grafts respectively). In hindsight I

Consultation with BHR on Wednesday

Well it's Monday and I jet off to Belgium on Wednesday for my consultation appointment with Dr Bisanga at BHR. I'm starting to get a little nervous but not as much as I expected, probably becasue I have had other things to occupy my mind but I know my whole system will probably go apeshit when I'm at the airport or waiting to get on that flight. Did I mention I hate flying? Yes, well I'll maybe just mention it again! Add to the fact that when researching taxi companies to take me there

Great Journey of 4036 Grafts FUE with Dr Pradeep Sethi & Dr Arika, India

I am basically from a Sikh background and I had to wear turban. I planned to go abroad, then thought of changing my look and removed the turban. But because of wearing the tight turban I lost many hairs in the front and started looking bald. Then I heard about FUE hair transplant by Dr Pradeep Sethi. For testing I went for 1000 grafts and got planted 1167 grafts in 1st session on 27th April, 2012. After 2-3 months my hair started growing, so I thought to go for 2nd session on November 9th 2012

Journey of 4303 gratfs transplantation with Dr Pradeep Sethi & Dr Arika(ABHRS), India

I am 30 years journalist in Delhi, India. I have been suffering from baldness, from past 5 years. I was very hopeless and I could not face people because of my bald look. I had a grade 6 Norwood class of baldness and I looked 35 at the age of 25 and my friends used to pass comments on me. My profession involved meeting a lot of people and my look always affected my confidence. I started searching for a solution of hair transplantation for my baldness, then I found on internet about Dr. Pradeep

48 Days Later

INCREDIBLE DRAMATIC RESULTS ~ somewhere on this website but not here !!- it's only been 48 days and now I enter that *dark* period. I'm back to the old Voxman, a few stagglers from the HT are still there, some shock loss of native hairs, a pimple visited me recently. From what I've read, it's all just predictably *normal*...! Normal is good - too many blogs and posts a from frantic posters claiming disaster and bewilderment. I'm just chilling and buying barretts for the winter.

looking for help

Hi   I want to have a hair transplant and have been doing some research on the various sites including your own which seems to give good objective feedback and I am looking for help. I am in my 6o’s and am between a norwood 5 and 6 probably closer to 6. I have been told by HP doctors that I have ideal donor hair which has remained quite high at the sides . Having looked at Doctors in the UK I was attracted to doctors in Turkey initially because of the price. I have had a couple of quote
