Well I'm midway through week 4 post op. I really should get off my arse and do a good write up of the procedure but busy days have come since getting back into my old routine. So how's it been? Well good and bad I guess. Good in the fact that I have somethig to look forward to I can't wait until it starts growing in and I can really play with the comb. SO many different styles I want to try out that I just wasnt brave enough to when I had a strong hairline whe I was younger. The bad is

Vogel Hair Transplant

I was a 50+ Norwood 1 and decided for some stupid reason that I wanted to add a quarter inch to my hairline. I had a "hair transplant" strip procedure by Dr. James Vogel. It was by far and away the worse mistake of my life! Prior to my Vogel experience I had ZERO hair transplants. I allowed Dr. Vogel to perform a strip procedure which took aprox. 10 min. & punch holes in Zone 1 of my hairline which took the Dr. Vogel aprox. 3 minutes. Transplant was for 1500 Grafts Zone 1: I w

HAIR TRANSPLANTATION- AN ARTISTIC APPROACH

Baldness always comes with a lot of depression specially when onset in young age. I tried so hard to stop it but it was in my gene so finally I found myself in genetic pattern baldness. I have heard a lot about hair transplantation but still surgery is big concern for me. I started to discuss with my friends, relatives, family doctor and a massive search on internet. I go for various forums, reviews & techniques for transplantation and my search end up with Medispa hair transplantation centr

Do you see the progress? My hair transplant in New Delhi, India on March 20th

I would like to share the story of my hair transplant surgery I had in New Delhi, India in this late March. I had a surgery with Dr.Mishra of Provelus Hair Restoration. Dr.Mishra was young and very knowledgeable, very friendly, very attentive. I was supposed to have a surgery the day before, but I had a trouble with my visa to India (post office misplaced my visa and passport), I arrived the evening of surgery. Despite I was late, he was very kind to perfome the surgery. The buildin

Wearing a helmet after HT

Hey guys, I just recently had my second HT with doctor Ron Shapiro. I had 1255 FUE's into the temple areas and I'm 5 weeks post op. I still have some slight reddening at the recipient area and a well healed donor area. I ride motorcross and was wondering if there's any chance of ruining the transplant by putting on a helmet and ridding my dirt bike?

Dr. Rashid Rashid - Houston

I am hoping that someone can provide some more insight on Dr. Rashid Rashid of Mosaic Clinic in Houston. I have been searching for a few days and have not been able to find very much on him good or bad. I checked with the BBB about 2 complaints but that was all I could find. There are also some post on here that reference him but do not go into detail on their results. Can anyone help?! Thanks!

Day 11

Not a great deal to share but I might as well. Still waitig on the op day pics from BHR and then I'll do a full report! Last week ws MURDER!!!! I was unlucky enough to get nerve pain in the back of my head (1 in 6 chance) and little did i know that occipatal nerve pain can simulate the exact symptoms of a migrane so not only did I have a very nippy back of my head but screaming headaches as well. Add to this the fact I was on edge all week for fear of bumping the grafts and being all scabby d

Farjo institute costs

Hi, I have just joined this site after reading 100's of your blogs and finding the vast majority really helpful. i have been researching FUE hair transplants in the UK and the farjo institute seems to get the best reviews time and time again. if i could afford to get a HT now i would but the cost for the amount of grafts i would need would be £10k+. i was hoping somebody on here would know if they offer any finance as i am starting to get desperate but dont want to have to get a loan to

2014-06-25 Bleached & Haircut @ 15 months

Today I bleached my hair back for the summer as the whole dark hair and beard thing was starting to bug me. I missed the old me! Plus I wanted to try an experiment to see if the blonde hair would have less contrast to my scalp and therefore let me gel & spike it up like I used to do pre HT. First the "bad news" ... When I went for the haircut, I decided to go back to a #2 guard on the clipper as I used to do before my transplant. As you can see it makes the scar show! UGH! I should have st

Time stands still.......

Well I'm day 5 post op and honestly....it feels like 3 months!!! Time is passing so slowly it's horrible, especially as I'm bored out of my skull with no excercise to do and a month off of work. I think I just want this week to be over as I'm constantly on edge for fear of bumping or accidentaly touching or scratching the grafts. On day 8 I'm allowed to go under the shower and gently massage the recipient area with special shampoo so not only will I be somewhat out of the danger zonebut it wi

3 Month Update Dr Koray

Sorry i havent been online for a while guys, personally i think when you are going through the start of a hair transplant, its best not to hang out on these sites, you hear too many stories of people not having good growth because of this and that.. so i removed myself until i was out of that phase. Just the start of some early growth.. To be honest , the first 3 months is really difficult, but it gets better from there, trust me!!
