I would like to share the story of my hair transplant surgery I had in New Delhi, India in this late March. I had a surgery with Dr.Mishra of Provelus Hair Restoration. Dr.Mishra was young and very knowledgeable, very friendly, very attentive. I was supposed to have a surgery the day before, but I had a trouble with my visa to India (post office misplaced my visa and passport), I arrived the evening of surgery. Despite I was late, he was very kind to perfome the surgery. The building he is in is not a state of art or prestine shape in our standard. Please see the picture. I am posting and asking your opinions because I had a hair transplant surgery with Lawrence Shapiro of Delray Beach, FL, and it was unssuccessful, I had no improvement. I am watching the mirror everyday with fear of transplanted hair not regrowing back. When I see pictures, I must question is it improvement or my wishful thinking make me see the illusion the hair is growing. So, I just want to ask your opinions. A lot of hairs shed in a first month of the surgery thanks to shock loss by surgery and minoxidil. First picture is taken on the day of surgery, second and third was taken on about 45 days since the surgery, and last two I took on the 4th of July, after 3 and a half months. It maybe too early to tell, but is there any improvement or just my hair got longer? Thanks, AMB2000

Greeting. I might be in panic. I had a transplant surgery on October 26th 2012 in undisclosed location in FL. 3,300 were planted. However, as of today, July 18th, almost 9 months later, I don't see any improvement. I emailed pictures to surgeon's office that did the operation, she says it is a great improvement. In pre-op and post-op pictures Hair styles are very different between those two, so I it is hard to see if there are improvement or not. However, some of you will be able so I am confident you see the difference. I send three pre-op pics and two post op pics. I had two surgeries, I saw new hair coming out and growing, but second surgery I had 9 month ago, I did not see any sort of new hair coming. Most graft hairs are implanted frontal area, so that if there are improvement, I should see. I noticed was that donor area and recipient area are bleeding more that my first surgery. Hair fell fairly quicker than first time. Hairs started fell with scabs within a week and most of white part of the tip of hair were mostly gone. If you don't see improvement, I am going to ask surgeon to redo the surgery, if it is too early, I will wait and see. I just think 3300 grafts should give me more volume. What do you think?
