Regular Member realtytr Posted January 1, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted January 1, 2019 (edited) Hi again first this is not Dr.Cinik's result i am sorry. This result is Dr.Cinik's techician result .. Because all the world knows that he doesnt perform the operation.. Second everybody can not be lucky like u i believe that you were playing casino and seems that u won at this time but what about the others? and i believe that 10/5 patients like u getting result and sharing what about other 5?! it is a just GAMBLE! if they were finding bad techicians what will they do? Because i know that he receives 8-10 patients a day and impossible same time 10 good techicians are working there.. Therefore your sharing not important for me if i do not know who was performing the operation..Maybe you need to write techicians names that will be more correct anyway good luck happy for u ! Regular Member johnp557799 Posted January 1, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted January 1, 2019 (edited) Happy New Year! Luke has inspired us with his journey and transformation, and I am very grateful to him for sharing his experience and providing good advices on the forum. My experience with Dr Cinik is very similar to his, and I don't want to start a new story. So let me upload here my summary after a year (the quality of my pics is not great - I took them using iPhone). Luke - thanks for your time to share your experience and keep us all updated! Senior Member clerksband Posted January 6, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted January 6, 2019 First off, I want to thank Luke for documenting his journey, it's been really educational and helpful. Now I'm at the 30th day post FUE surgery and I'm thinking of buzzing my hair to 1 for the first time. I see that Luke didn't use clippers for the recipient area during the first months, why is that? Is there some kind of risk?
Regular Member Donjamo Posted January 6, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted January 6, 2019 @clerksband not recommended to shave head for first six months in case you damage hair in recipient area, only scissor cut
Regular Member mrknid Posted January 6, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted January 6, 2019 @clerksband if you are buzzing any transplanted hairs that are not shed yet you might damage the hair follicle by using to much force. It’s probably not scientifically proven but more common sense. I think Cinik advises to use scissors only for the first 6 months.
Senior Member lukeyb1687 Posted January 6, 2019 Author Senior Member Share Posted January 6, 2019 Thank you all for the support and following my journey. @johnp557799 great result man, that's a huge difference! How do you feel? @clerksband congrats on the 30 day mark! Yeah, I wouldn't use clippers on the transplanted area for at least 6 months. I believe the vibration of the clippers can cause damage to the root or dislodge the hair (it's still in its infancy) just use some good old scissors to trim. The rest of your head, inclduing donor, should be fine to clip...well it was fine for me at least. @mrknid yep you're right! 12/2017 - 3500 Grafts- Dr. Emrah Cinik Follow my progress:

Thank you! I don't use minoxidil or fin. I had side effects with minox such as baggy under eyes headaches, and figured that it wasn't worth the side effects. Glad you remember my old post about it!! 12/2017 - 3500 Grafts- Dr. Emrah Cinik Follow my progress:

Regular Member Dalgaard Posted January 17, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted January 17, 2019 Hey, im thinking about using Dr. cinik as well. Did you take one the more expensive packages, with him doing the channels, or did you go with the cheaper package with the tech's doing all the work? I guess with that result, that you took the expensive package

I've been very lucky with my density, always been told I have really thick hair in the back especailly. I was about 23 in the minox posts I did years ago. Not had any loss past the frontal third, which I'm fortunate for! 12/2017 - 3500 Grafts- Dr. Emrah Cinik Follow my progress:
