Dr. Raymond Konior
This is a 40 year old male who presented with isolated frontal hairline recession. The remainder of his scalp demonstrated excellent hair density without evidence of miniaturization. He requested restoration of the recessed frontal region. A total of 2345 grafts were implanted into the thinning frontal region so as to achieve a high density, single pass restoration. Presented here are one year postoperative photos and immediate graft placement photos. Density inspection of this dense-pack restoration can be assessed by views which show a part directly through the right, left and central graft zones. Dr. Ray Konior is a highly esteemed member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians.
Senior Member chrisdav Posted May 20, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted May 20, 2012 Excellent as always, very consistent high level of work. 2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK. Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.

Senior Member HARIRI Posted May 20, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted May 20, 2012 Dr. Konoir is in my top US surgeons list along with Ron Shapiro and Feller. I love his HT work very much. The 2500 grafts were transplanted perfectly, I had the same amount and know how much coverage it could give. Result after a posted result make me a bigger fan of his work. Senior Member aaron1234 Posted May 21, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted May 21, 2012 Beautifully constructed hairline. And to have that much native hair left at 40 years old is indeed very lucky. Definitely a good backdrop to a perfectly transplanted hairline. Senior Member Spanker Posted May 22, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted May 22, 2012 I am pretty confident that I met this gentleman in person. It was a knock out result. My wife saw it too and was blown away. Yes, his native definitely helped, but the transition was amazing. I was unable to tell where the transplant started and ended. If you were to see this guy out on the town, even with a trained eye, you would have no idea he had work done. Pretty impressive. Senior Member Spanker Posted May 23, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted May 23, 2012 Spanker any update on your planned procedure with Konior? Dealing with a couple issues tight now. I SOOOO want to do my proceedure tomorrow, but I am really wanting to pay for it and not put any on a credit card. I have quite a bit of it but am not there quite yet. So I am struggling with that. I feel like I may pull the trigger any day, but just keep stalling cause I am short. Been toying with selling my motorcycle first and paying cash for it now. Second is time off. I am finding it hard to say, "Hey boss, I need 2 weeks off cause I want to get some work done to my hairline." So trying to decide if I want to burn the vacation or suck it up and ask of sick time. Hard to decide. I have been so busy lately and haven't had time to look at my hair, but when I do, I am like, "I'll put it on a card, screw it." Then I get busy again and tell myself to save up. There are a lot of decisions to struggle with, but at least I am not struggling on which doc to choose. Senior Member Mickey85 Posted July 20, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted July 20, 2014 wow thread was more than two years old, an oldie but goodie you thinking of going with Konior now that he does FUE, Mickey? don't hear much about your future plan of action Hehe I have no current plans for a repair but I do know that I will address the scar only in my next procedure. If I do both the scar and refine the hairline, it will be very difficult to sleep whilst not applying any pressure to either the scar or hairline. Also I want a relatively inconspicuous look after the surgery(even if it means two surgeries a year apart) so I will do the scar first and then the hairline sometime later. I have to be careful not to use up too many grafts in the hairline because I'm still quite young and my future progression cannot be predicted. In terms of surgeon, I'm looking to Europe. Am yet to book anything but I have a shortlist of surgeons. Konior is an AMAZING strip surgeon and I'm surprised he was under the radar on alot of people's lists a while ago(although that has changed now and he is in my opinion the best in North America at strip along with H&W) but I need to see alot more documented FUE results from him before I would consider it. I love how clean his work looks immediately post-operative, especially compared to some other surgeons where their work is bloody, scabby, inflamed etc. The only 2 threads you will ever need: Revamped Advantages/Disadvantages of FUE. Regular Member RG Posted July 21, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted July 21, 2014 Dr. Konior does perform FUE. There have been a few of his results posted on here…and in typical Konior fashion, the results have been great. I had FUT surgery with him at the end of May (I'm a full blown NW 5 with no hairline). Konior and his staff are fantastic…..really words can't describe how impressed I was with the entire process. I would highly recommend you contact him for a consultation.
