  1. Watch Kevin videos from Haircafe He uses this stuff and has pretty good info about hairloss that you don’t find with a simple google search x
  2. You will get good regrowth with fin/min combo but start with the knowledge that once you get a hair transplant and those regrown hairs are transplanted to your front, stopping medication isn’t an option without severely affecting your results. The other better option in my opinion is get a HT without drugs. Then even if you start medication, your transplant won’t be dependent on drugs. What also makes this option possible for you is you seem to be stabilised at your current loss. Not everyone stays like this and progresses even farther, for them transplant without medication isn’t even a possibility.
  3. 720 is a massive amount of grafts to be wasted on temple points. If they were used in midscalp, you would’ve been ecstatic with the outcome. In my opinion temple points should only be done once everything else is recreated to perfection. They don’t matter at all
  4. Pekiner for hairlines. He’s the best for hairlines. Use whatever remaining grafts you’ve left for hairline. Your plan isn’t bad. Get a hairline and wear hair system. You can use beard/body hair behind hairline and if it looks good, ditch the hair system. If not you can use it. The thing about body hair is they are single grafts and short life span so you need a lot and I mean a lot to get coverage and not look thin. For comparison, scalp grafts are 3/4/5 hairs depending on how healthy they are, 1/2s are less in number and only when miniaturised. I just read a thread other day of someone having 5 hair grafts in thousands but his hairloss wasn’t severe to be fair.
  5. Do not bother with meds. If your hairloss is stable you have reached your final Norwood pattern. Meds will only do slight improvement at this stage and not worth it. Your plan is good but NW1 is ambitious, can only get NW2. 1. FUT is such a dated technique, I hate the ugly scar it leaves. Some people still prefer it but meh. You look good now but when you get old and your skin isn’t so nice, that scar going to be look hideous. Look at Joe Rogan, just hideous. 2. Zarev. Pitella. Eugenix 3. Sure if you’ve a massive beard and don’t mind thinned look behind hairline in some places (midscalp/crown). 12k grafts. 4. Don’t bother and condemn yourself to a life of drugs. You’re too far gone
  6. It’s just a natural dye. Doesn’t grow hair
  7. Not a fan of FUT so that won’t be an option for me. Rest of the doctors you mentioned are all pretty good and can’t wrong with either
  8. It could be a really good clinic or it could be bad. Very little is known. Proceed at your own risk.
  9. Explain Patrick Dempsey hairline to me. It’s not unnatural, it’s not bad.
  10. It’s not for reasons of dislodging the grafts, it’s because you may get an infection when you scratch with dirty fingers or injure the sensitive scalp. If you’re paranoid like me then just do saline spray for 14 days after that start washing and try to get the scabs off.
  11. You’re mid 40s, it’s safe to say very little hairloss is coming your way. Why subject your body to medication? I seriously doubt they will do anything but thicken few hairs. Not worth it.
  12. DHI is that implanter pen thing and its just marketing. The person holding the tool matters not the tool.
  13. Hope some new breakthrough cure/treatment like finasteride happens in coming years.
  14. If after 9 days grafts should be secure. See this fantastic study https://www.bernsteinmedical.com/research/graft-anchoring-in-hair-transplantation/
  15. Uh I am not sure, I just googled her name and this forum name and that link came up 😅 Admins can answer better.
  16. You mentioned you had tonsillitis during surgery, could that have affected your outcome? How long did it last? Recovering from stress hairloss takes a very long time ( a year almost) , perhaps that’s what is happening with you. You should wait few more months in hopes this is stress hairloss before doing another surgery.
  17. Hit and miss Imo they also seem to be doing a bad job at educating their patients and as a result getting bad rep which shouldn’t have come their way.
  18. She’s still recommended https://hairtransplantnetwork.com/dr-radha-palakurthi New surgeons appear and options increase and people start talking about the new options. That’s probably what happened. I don’t know anything about her though
  19. I think Konior offering a free touch up so soon shows he’s a good person. Also there’s nothing wrong with growth and it’s not a failed hair transplant by any means. The doctor probably thought he could do more with less grafts with a little artistry. 1500 more grafts and this will look fantastic.
