  1. It’s really hard to say. Could very well be a lost graft especially before day 9. Bernstein study showed grafts aren’t secure until day 9. I question the if you don’t see blood then you haven’t lost a graft. Blood comes out if there’s an injury but you can very well damage the graft from inside and kill it. The body has mechanisms to absorb dead cells/material and blood only comes out when skin is broken. At the same time worrying about individual grafts is pointless. What can you do if you know it’s a dead graft? Nothing. What can you do if you know it’s just hair? Nothing. I don’t know who said this here recently but after HT, one should find himself somethings to keep busy. It’s a LOOOOOONGGG journey
  2. This isn’t as bad as it looks actually IF he has fantastic body hair. Sprinkle in a lot of body hairs with whatever scalp hairs he have left and it will come out great. And this person would’ve enjoyed many great years getting an HT early. This is also proof of hair transplants being permanent, I have seen a few posters fearmonger about HTs and question donor dominance theory but look at it. Those hairs don’t care about being flooded with DHT. Where he went wrong is not using medication which he will use now - pretty pointless. And not chasing the hair loss with more hair transplants so that batch of hairs look lonely and really bad.
  3. This is why I am not a fan of FUT. Too many problems with it and not many advantages to it. Surgeons like Zarev have shown that you can get a lot of grafts with FUE
  4. Wow this is the worst thing I have ever seen. This is like kids were tasked with harvesting your grafts…what the hell. They gave you 3 FUT scars!!!!! How many grafts was this? If they implanted only 1200 then they must have wasted the rest. They even did a scar on your crown!! I know Turkish hairmills get a lot of bad reputation but even they wouldn’t have done you this bad. Well it’s a good thing you’re in US and can use the legal system. Sue the clinic!
  5. I think using finasteride is way too early for you to be using at 19. Maybe topical minox at best. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with getting a hair transplant even if you are in your teens. As long as you choose a good clinic but it’s an issue even when you’re old. You’re expected to have hairs in your teens and you look out of place to be sporting even a NW2 at that age. I don’t agree with the idea that you should suffer until you’re in your 20s then get a HT. So yeah man, go crazy. Enjoy your youth because it’s never coming back. You WILL care about your hairs till you’re like in your 90s but people’s expectations of you do change and people aren’t so judgemental when you’re bald at old age versus when you’re in your teens.
  6. Wow, I am starting to like this doctors work. Congratulations
  7. You already have a conservative hairline. What you want is an aggressive hairline lol I don’t think any surgeon is going to reject you based on your age. You can get your gender reassigned before even hitting puberty, HTs are just a small procedure. The only reason some top doctors would refuse is because of fear of you acting irrationally if the HT doesn’t grow well or regretting the decision, younger patients have unrealistic expectations/unpredictable.
  8. Actually I was talking about doing masturbation so early. That would worry me more than bumping the head. But like I said what’s done is done. If only we could reverse time
  9. wow day 2 🧘‍♀️ Well whatever. There is no point in stressing out, nobody can tell you if the grafts are damaged or not. You will find out in 6 months which is a long long way to go. Unfortunately there is no way to reverse time so all you can do is try to do better in future.
  10. Sorry, you are a Norwood 7. Not NW5. The lateral humps are completely gone and the donor has dipped in NW7 fashion. Clearly you don’t have enough donor for full coverage. Dr Gur plan is good to only do 3k grafts for the front. For the crown you will need body hairs. Your hairline needs to be super conservative unless you have a lot of beard hair.
  11. I read it happens because the grafts aren’t trimmed or something. Basically lack of skill of surgeon
  12. LOL is all I am going to say. I forget most people don’t appreciate advice or new knowledge. Ride out the redness for half a year. Good luck
  13. They’re fooling themselves. There’s obsession when the temples are barely receded but the sufferer thinks it’s detoriating the quality of their life and everyone notices it despite hiding it with long hairs. Then there’s the back of the head where suddenly the assumption is people aren’t going to notice several thousand black and white checkered pattern which is what it looks like. I guess if they have weak vision or legally blind they won’t notice. Most people are polite and will avoid offending you. I know this because I had a full head of hair with a very small diffuse bald spot near the front of my crown and everyone I talked to would stare at my hairs during conversation. It annoyed the hell out of me and they thought I wasn’t noticing where their eyes were wandering to.
  14. The white dots are so obvious and it doesn’t look good at all. It looks really bad. Growing hairs out seems to be the only option after getting hair transplants but it’s not a bad thing. If this is a dealbreaker then people should just shave it and do SMP.
  15. That is a lot of grafts, surprised your crown was untouched. But as expected your density looks good. Congratulations
  16. Getting close to the finish line. You are going to be ecstatic after the second procedure
