  1. Clinics would delegate the whole process to techs but they’re forced to do the incisions because it’s a very hard thing to do. Go too deep, go too shallow, nick an artery, use wrong angles etc etc so many factors. I have seen some crap clinics have the doctor come for a second, quickly does incisions at a rate of 1 million incisions per hour then leave. All the techs then have to do is put the grafts in. These clinics advertise it as the doctor does the implantation. Seems like your clinic wants to advertise the doctor does the extraction when all he’s going to do is poke poke poke your scalp (mark or score or whatever) at rate of million grafts per second then quickly leave the room and have techs do the extraction anyway lol I hope that explains it for you
  2. PRP is just nonsense. Botox works by inhibiting some tf1 factor something that in turn blocks DHT pathway I forgot the specifics not by increasing blood flow lol But the results are paradoxical. Sometimes it causes a very different type of hairloss Its worth a try if you can wait a year
  3. It’s case specific. If the patient has the confidence in clinic, they would usually go back.
  4. Don’t bother about the tools surgeon uses. Look into FueCapilar/Yaman if you want to save money and a budget option
  5. I think FUT clinics are all very expensive. For 10-12k you can get pretty good results in a Turkey if you go fue
  6. Try riding out fin sides? There’s so many reports where even the people who get sides from fin get better with time as their body adjusts. Also are you trying generic or Propecia? I had this ugly brain fog type of side from generics I used a very low 0.30mg dose every other day. It wasn’t that bad so I could use it but taking fin wasn’t fun time for the first few hours. Switched to Propecia and I don’t feel a thing except increased libido. If they’re not an option then use Minoxidil. It will slow down hair loss if not completely halt it. Your donor seems to have DUPA
  7. Do you think Alex didn’t know the rules of this forum and did what he thought be okay? There are few others hairloss forums (not Italian) and it’s like everything goes there, even ASMED is recommended on there lol. So maybe he didn’t know the rules of this forums are very strict? Reason I say this is because I liked Alex despite what people say about him, he tries to be helpful and seems like a good person, so to me it feels like maybe this was all just a misunderstanding? What type of astroturfing was it by the way? Did they post fake results? Or was it incentivising patients to post their results? I hope it’s not the first because that’s inexcusable and doesn’t make sense why a doctor like Pekiner would need to do it. If it’s the latter then maybe it was a misunderstanding. I find it so weird that Dr Pekiner’s clinic of all was involved in this. They’re like wham bham thank you mam 😂 I remember my brother once asked are you sure the clinic has booked you? What if you show up there and they are like WHO ARE YOU? lol. Vey strange
  8. Yes. I would also start taking multivitamins etc to help the wound heal fast. My clinic gave me a lotion that worked like a magic and helped heal them super fast. Then recommended Bepanthol lotion once that was finished. If you can get ahold of that it would help so much.
  9. What do you mean no scabs? They are scabs. Just not matured yet. Everyone heals at different rates. Some people heal and scabs ready to come off in 2-3 days, others can take 10-14 days. Individual scabs/wounds themselves can heal at different rates. You should spray saline and wash them to keep them soft and not get super hard.
  10. 1. Depends on your country rules and regulations 2. Depends on your country rules and regulations but probably no. They do ask though 3. Doesn’t matter 4. Big and smooth and comfy 5. It’s not safe. I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing a hat so soon but trust your clinics instructions. 6. Very annoying and unnecessarily make things difficult for you. Go with your family or friend or wife etc. Life’s easier when you’ve someone caring for you 7. Eh. Go crazy 8. Yes. Very much so. Idk if it kills the grafts but the regrowth is affected very much depending on the type of colds you get.
  11. Maybe because the clinic doesn’t know the answer. You’re asking a question I doubt any clinic has observed the day to day pattern of individual hairs over the period of the transplant. So it could simply be they don’t know and don’t know how to answer.
  12. I learned this lesson the hard way. It’s funny when things actually happen to you then they become “real”. I had read this topic before and I believed it but after getting my HT did I fully understand what it meant. It’s quite disappointing really.
  13. It’s a question I ask myself. I think I am going to stop oral fin and start topical Minoxidil when I want to conceive. Finasteride has been fantastic for my sex life but I don’t think it would be great for child. There have been some posters claiming on a Facebook group they fathered children WHILE using Finasteride but idk, seems too risky. Hopefully minoxidil can keep my transplanted hairs from falling out.
  14. Finasteride works great when the loss isn’t slick bald and there’s a lot miniaturised hairs around. Once it’s shiny bald then there’s very little growth. You’re clearly a good responder
  15. It doesn’t matter. By month 3 all of them fall out. But yes those hairs that do stay and grow a little it’s obvious they made it.
  16. I would say ride it out for a few years see where it leads. But if you’re going to take medication then why not? Get a HT now and enjoy your youth
  17. Are there any results that show it works?
