  1. Your scars aren’t going to be the same because a different surgeon will perform them. His surgeon was Zarev I believe and he does a homogenous full donor extraction which is unique to him and other doctors don’t follow the same plan. So your scars might actually look less obvious or maybe even worse. He also hasn’t shown his initial Norwood level. How a NW6 after extraction will look is NOT going to be the same as say how a NW3 will look despite having the exact same number of grafts extracted. I think you’re going on with too high hopes into a transplant and will leave disappointed. Once you’ve had work done on you, the path to shaving or buzzcuts is gone. Not at your level of loss. NW6 barely have any donor, add few thousand scars and that makes the donor bald but it’s scarred bald.
  2. Pekiner must be a magician, he gave me full coverage for 6-7k grafts with same head size as the guy in video
  3. Updates? Seems like a great result I just learned about salt water benefits too. Which was quite surprising
  4. If you trust him to do your surgery, why won’t you trust his advice? If he doesn’t think you’re a good candidate yet then you’re not.
  5. Uhhh…you’re not a surgeon. Why do you care what tool surgeons use. You should care who is holding the tool and operating on you. And whoever operated on you didn’t do a good job. The next surgeon you choose, don’t fall into dhi or fue or sapphire or blah blah.
  6. You still need a hair transplant though the graft requirements are substantially less
  7. Looks good and you seem to have shed so fast too. Early growth will come most likely. happy growing
  8. So half of what you claimed? It’s still not even close to 14k+ grafts 🤷‍♀️
  9. But your case is very unique to someone with a “virgin scalp”. You were a repair patient. Few things that are very unique about your case - Lower hairline to hide the scars. That’s a lot of grafts. - Temple points done. Again a lot of grafts. - A lot of body hairs used. For comparison, one scalp graft can be equal to 2 or 3 or 5 body hair! usually in range of 2-3. Head size makes a difference but not that big of a difference. 6-7k scalp grafts would’ve been enough for full coverage which is about the same as everyone else. I don’t think your head size played that big of a role, your scars, temple points used up a lot of grafts and you also didn’t have a lot of scalp grafts due to previous surgeries wasting them. If you had started with a “virgin scalp” your graft numbers would’ve been lower.
  10. What?? Can you show me someone with such a big head they needed 14k+ grafts for full coverage. I don’t think we are talking human heads here 😂
  11. As always, politicians spreading hatred and creating difficulties for people.
  12. I will check the video out later but this is an interesting point. And I have always wondered. Does losing or gaining weight changes skull size and so the number of grafts needed or perhaps how your hairs look depending on if you’re fat or thin at that time? Ignore if it’s already answered in the video.
  13. In nature there are people with varying level of loss in front region as the Norwood scale shows too. Not everyone follows the pattern. So a shaved failed HT doesn’t look any different than a shaved balding guy unless the recipient is scarred. The only place there’s no hiding from a failed HT is the donor area. If it’s a FUT or a botched HT with donor area thinned out in one spot (not homogenous) it shows even when shaved. Donor area is never completely bald in nature and follows a small pattern of loss depending on Norwood level so if your surgeon botches your donor, you’re screwed for life. Frontal HT mess ups don’t matter that much, can shave it off and be like the bald guy
  14. Go crazy man. You’re one of those lucky ones that either stay NW3 their whole life or their hairloss is so slow they end up in grave before their Norwood level progresses any further. If you’re going with the same conservative plan as I did (NW6 at 30 with a joke of a donor) then who can go aggressive? I like H&W for their aggressive approach (hate they use FUT though), they know what’s it about. You don’t need Finasteride either but should use low dose for prostate health. I think this community suffers from tunnel vision seeing all these bald people to start imagining everyone is destined to be NW7. That’s simply not the case. Everytime I go out I see ton of NW3 at age 60, age 50 and that’s their final pattern.
  15. It is different for every individual and surgeon even it seems.
  16. Uhmm I don’t need hair transplants anymore THANK GOD for that! This topic is a joke about how we all hoped a cure is right around the corner and then wake up and find yourself on the surgeon’s table getting operated on for a HT 😂 Thanks for the heads up though
  17. Me in 2010: I’m sure there will be hair loss cure in 10 years. Me in 2023: So I have to go to Turkey to get a decent transplant
