  1. Was looking to go with DR Gur and it's like £3800 so hoping to see an update on this one, as I'd want a great result for paying triple what hair mills charge thanks
  2. Appreciate that! Your advice is strong. It's just unfortunate that I may have a poor head of hair. Clinic was Longevita. If I am to wait till after the wedding, which clinics are good, as I keep just coming across the same hair mills. I seen good results from some, but If I'm paying I want better results. I've seen good doctors make better results with 1500 than bad ones with 3000+ thanks.
  3. I've put some pictures on of current condition and transplant, quality isn't the best sorry. I think ive lost more hair on top since the HT which is why it looks so poor, as there not much native hair left. thanks
  4. Yeah yeah, shockloss isn't something I thought of, I could end up looking worse. I may have to just wait till after the wedding, and hope to get a better transplant.
  5. Here is my current hair condition. I had FUE 3000 Grafts in Turkey, doctor done my hair line which im happy with the mid section however didn't cover very well and this was done by technicians, and they didn't touch the crown. I'm taking Biotin and Saw palmetto, Thinking of taking Finestaride once I get over the concerns that come with the medication. My concerns are how it will look in 5 month, and the fact I may not get a good transplant at this time.. all the good ones seem to be quoting £7800-£35,000 which isn't an option when saving for the wedding, even if I wasn't that's an awful lot of money but I guess you get wha you pay for in some cases.
  6. Hi, Im getting married May 11, 2024. Just wondering if I went in December would this be too soon to the wedding to be looking smart.. Can anyone share their advice, opinions or their progress from 5 months? I already have had 1 HT which was for hairline and partial mid section, looking to get thickened top in entire head as results weren't the greatest. THANKS IN ADVANCE!
  7. Hi all, I've been reading through the forums, after being quoted anywhere from £1250 -£12000 for my second hair transplant, just gauging peoples opinions.. I know the general opinion on the forum is if you can't afford the best transplant from the best clinic or best doctors, don't get a hair transplant. However, for some people saving/paying £12,000+ just isn't an option. I often see the same doctors being recommended on the forum, which is great to see there is people who back them. However, with over 1000 clinics in Turkey for example, and the same hand full of doctors and clinics being recommended on the forum, with some members speaking poorly of some of these practitioners, it seems that even paying for the best can end with poor results (although id imagine no where near as often). Where does the lines blur, and where does what results you have sit in correlation to the price you pay for your procedure. I've seen great results from 'hair mills' charging £1-2000. yet these are hit and miss, and the procedures and technicians don't seem ton have the same equipment or talk as openly with you about the procedure in your quotes. then we move onto the clinics that charge £3-7000 for say an FUE with 4000 grafts, which also seem to have positive results. Now I know the internet is a tricky place, as clinics are good at promoting the good, and hiding the bad. finally, the clinics that charge £3-£10 per graft, resulting in costs £10,000 + what sort of guarantee, or results can you see from these clinics that you wouldn't in the ones prior. I'm asking, as I've had one Hair transplant, in which the results weren't great, but ive had friends go to the same clinic and had good results. This was, a couple of years ago now.. and due to not knowing the industry, so I have been trying to find a clinic for my second that will have greater results. Unfortunately, I can't afford £10,000+ But I could potentially, save for a mid tier one. I have found a clinic I like the look of and haver been quoted 7,200 Euro, which I'm looking to save and go to. But this got me thinking, what would I get different for 7,200 that I wouldn't a £3-4000 clinic, or that I would get here but not at a £10,000 clinic. Just a curiosity, and would like to hear peoples opinions that's all, Thanks members!!! P.s. on a side note, if people have had good experiences with a clinic that is in the sub £5000 region, if they would feel comfortable messaging me even private if preferred, to give me the names so I could look into them for my own knowledge, as I am proactively looking for a suitable clinic for myself. All the best, Thanks.
  8. Ive been trying to hear back from this clinic for a while, did it take a while to get a response, also was the cost good? thanks
  9. Sorry, trying to find pictures from when it was done, but I've got a new phone.. I'll attach what I can find. Also, 21 months, FUE 3500 grafts, hairline to mid scalp. No breakdown of singles or double was given.
  10. They said the hair has grew well, which I think some of it has. It just doesn't seem like 3500 grafts compared to what I've seen on other people's results. They have said I should get a second one, which I originally was told to be fair. I just assumed the first one would have more coverage. Then I've got their sales team messaging me weekly to book my second one, but not sure if I should go back with these results.
  11. I've stuck some in the post there buddy, sorry about that!
  12. Ive had a HT at a clinic, 3 of my friends one to before me (all had great results) and people I know have been since and had great results.. mine seem to be very poor, (hairline where surgeon done has great results) but they only done the hairline, the hairs that the technicians implanted seems to only partially have came back, Im 18 month in now, so not expecting it to get much better now.. clinic said Its fine, hair is growing as should be, and said to pay to come in for a second procedure, but I don't want to waste donor hair, so looking for somewhere else... is there a reason mine may have failed? Thanks..
  13. Hello Everyone! Does anyone have any positive results from a hair transplant with blone/fine hair? I've had one transplant, but the results weren't great, im wondering if its because of my hair .. Can anyone with experience share your results/ recommend a clinic/ doctor that works well with such hair? thanks!
