I had HT two weeks ago. There is a severe itching in the donor area specially at night. The shampoo i have been using and that is advised by the clinic is HairMd. Is this normal? Any advice? Any particular Shampoo, cream or tablets?

While other evaluations such as dr Turan advised a number of 2750 grafts or so, dr Gur advised to go with 2200 grafts. is Dr Gur considered conservative for the hair line so that he doesnt lower the hair line more than other surgeons?

I am currently not in Turkey fo a holiday and i am amateur enough so that i am not considering the hair transplant is a grocery that i can get right now from the super market around the corner. I see what you mate. I am 35 years old. As long as the holiday is in future ( November) and so many reputable doctors here in this forum said “you are a candidate for 3000-3500 grafts transplanting” i dont see any problem to do so while i am on holiday!!! I have enough to time to do my own research and i am so critical in that. I am educating my self in this issue, and the education starts with a question which i did in this topic. I have contacted more than twenty doctors and i can distinguish between those who are hair mills and the others with decent recents, based on a lot of things i.e. people’s post about their experiences here in this amazing forum. I am also critical to avoid any clinic who has marketing tendency and pushing sending a lot of whatsapp messages. the idea i want to make here is that let people ask and its not necessarily for anyone to respond to all post he/she sees.

I had my time developing a fundamental framework. And i know the names and list who are frequently being talked about and recommended here. My question is clear in this topic. Have anybody heard or had an experience with x? The answer could simply be “no!” Or even to not respond, Rather than blaming and exaggerating in the reaction from some guys here. We are amateur enough to know the risk of going to unknown or hair mills clinics. Lets people ask and talk and dont “by a way or another” try to limit the list to those who are known for this forum members, with all RESPECT for them and for this amazing community who share their experiences. The question could appear on google search web and some people who have heard of the clinic my join us here and drop useful information.

I am using topical minoxidil but seeing little improvement. I am thinking of using topical fin as it has less side effects than the oral. But (based on your experiences ) is the topical fin as effective as the oral one?

Just wondering why some doctors/clinics call the procedure as “DHI” while they say the incision/channels opining will be done by the doctor not techs?!! Basically, there is no incision stage in the direct hair implanting DHI. Right? - in addition to the doctor’s skills, which technique do you think it is better for hair transplant for a receding hair line? In terms of density and natural-looking?
